We were visiting Scottsboro, Alabama for a wedding and love traveling with our dogs, but we didn’t want them staying alone in a hotel room for nearly 19 hours. About: My wife and I both grew up with pets and lovingly cared for our dog and two cats for over 17 years before they crossed the rainbow bridge. We recognize that each pet has their own unique needs, and are patient and responsive to ensure they are well cared for. I work from home full-time and my wife works from home part-time. I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I book a lot of clients over holidays too! My daughter also loves to help me care for the dogs. I have been teaching her about dog care and respect for animals since she was very young. I have a variety of animal experience, I grew up on an Indiana farm caring for many animals. I worked at Petsmart as a dog groomer for 2 years, so I can trim/grind nails and bathe your dog :) I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 semesters. I'm currently in graduate school going for Master's of Biology. My classes are online so I have a very flexible, open schedule! Dog walking and sitting will help fund my schooling. I have experience working with almost all dog breeds, so I am able to personalize time spent with each dog according to their needs and comfort level. I have dog sat for many friends and family members in the past, even some with health concerns. I always train my own dogs, and have gone through Petsmart training curriculum to gain more knowledge on pet training. Not to be left unattended in the yard since it is made from garden fencing, and small dogs unable to climb fencing is preferred. Fence climbing dogs should not come here because there is a fast road adjacent to the slower road that I live on. When I leave to run errands I will sequester my cats in another room from the dogs. I go with the flow, and understand every animal will behave differently so please let me know if your baby has any special needs or habits!
