This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”
About: I have had pets since I was 5 years old and with my degree and career background in veterinary medicine, best believe your pets will be safe and taken care of while also being treated like family. I’m available after 2:30pm everyday and my days are completely open on the weekends. If I need to stop by in the early morning, I can as well. Pets will be loved on, walked, fed, and receive intimate quality time. I have two needy dogs myself so I completely understand the anxiety that can come with pets being alone so I will make sure to make them feel safe and provided for.

About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! I’d love to share a moment of your lives with a walk or overnight, and I’ll treat them like family — only better. :) I am available Monday-Sunday. There are many parks and we walk several times a day and play on- and off-leash. Basically, my two dogs are my life right now so I thought I’d try this to have something to do! I have a two-bedroom apartment but one is devoted to the dogs and there is extra space in my master room if dogs don’t need to sleep together. While I only have a balcony, it is good enough for my dogs to sunbathe on and stare at passersby. “Flash had a great day in Doggie Daycare with Emily and her family! They played with him and took him for a walk. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. You can tell they love dogs and it made me happy that Flash was comfortable with them. I recommend them as dog sitters and plan to book with them again!”

Your pets are my priority! -Capable of caring for small mammals and exotic pets, including reptiles and arthropods As a sitter, I pay attention to the details, such as making sure food and water bowls are cleaned, and I am diligent in keeping pets out of potentially dangerous situations. You can also be assured that I will take good care of your home. Overnight dog sits include at least one walk a day unless otherwise specified or the weather prevents it. I am comfortable administering medications, including injections. I am self-employed, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am avaliable for constant care for an additional rate. Most of my exercise comes from walking dogs, so I am more than happy to take the long route if your pooch is up for it! I am very careful with your pets, avoiding encounters with unfamiliar dogs or people to avoid conflicts. About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: I've had or taken care of pets since I was little. I have a house of 5 pups myself of all different shapes, sizes and personalities. Wallace(Pittie), Paco(Weenie), Fig(Frenchie), Eli and Brooks(Twin Frenchies). I've had dogs range from small to large all my life. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to check in on your fur babies. About: Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life and have been pet-sitting for about 17 years. I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

About: I loved having cats and dogs growing up and eventually started pet sitting for friends and loved it. Now I have 7 pets of my own and still love to give! I work part time and am available almost every afternoon during the week and Saturdays and all day Wednesdays to come love on your fur babies! My animals are possibly the most spoiled. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”
