About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently have five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! I’d love to share a moment of your lives with a walk or overnight, and I’ll treat them like family — only better. :) I am available Monday-Sunday. There are many parks and we walk several times a day and play on- and off-leash. Basically, my two dogs are my life right now so I thought I’d try this to have something to do! I have a two-bedroom apartment but one is devoted to the dogs and there is extra space in my master room if dogs don’t need to sleep together. While I only have a balcony, it is good enough for my dogs to sunbathe on and stare at passersby. Additionally, there are many parks nearby and we walk several times a day and play, off- and on-leash available. I’m open for questions. About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for a variety of animals. I also volunteered in a vet clinic so I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. I am focusing on dog-walking but I will occasionally provide drop in services as well, so I will follow any instructions I am given regarding caring for a pet in the client's home.
About: Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life and have been pet-sitting for about 17 years. I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.
About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I grew up with many dogs and started pet sitting for family members and friends once I was able to drive. I tend to bring pet treats (usually raw diet) and/or toys to soften the fur babies up so please let me know any dietary restrictions. I’m excited to become your pets new furry godmother and spoil your best friend as they so rightfully deserve. I usually work from 5am -1pm everyday except Wednesdays and Saturdays. My schedule is typically empty after 2 as I can squeeze in the gym at anytime. If you would like an early morning drop in I ask to know before 1pm the day prior I can deter pets away from areas you don’t want them in. I can crate them per request or put them in a preferred room with toys and favorite items to keep them entertained
About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. (Additionally, my name is Kuvo, but Lydia is fine. Your pet is my priority, so I hope a name will not disturb the service provided.) There are certain times for engaging with cats and certain times to provide them with distance. I hope to prevent stress while also giving them the proper attention they need. I am never too far and know where they are.
About: I am a trainer and a manger at a boarding and daycare place and have years of professional experience in caring for loved pets. I can work with older dogs, medicated dogs and other extra care situations. I have a fenced-in back yard plus a dog park across the street (which I will only take dogs if owners approve). I love runs and longs walks so if you dog is use to some exercise we can do that as well. My parents are dog lovers and instill in me a loving and empathetic understanding of treating animals. About: Having grown up with animals most my life…I pride myself in the ability to comfort and love your furry friend… Even from a distance. My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned, cared for, and spent time around dogs of all different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs and energy level.
