About: I love my pets so much and I love to see them with other pets (my spouse won’t let me get anymore) so yes this is the meeting ground for that :). Your kids are my kids and I will love them so much like my own :)) I keep my pets on a schedule and know how to treat them if they give signs of any sickness I have gone through it and know all the remedies to help. I love playing with my fur babies and having them fur baby friends. I also like to take my fur babies on walks even my cats in a cat backpack so they can see the world. My home has a pet room near a window so they can see outside (they love this) and they can sleep by the window on a comfortable bed (SPOILED). I keep toys in their room and I also have a cat tree for my catsss

I have 3 working dogs, performance horses so i understand their special requirements. I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the majority of my life. Once I mastered the basics of venipuncture, medication administration, and vaccines I had enough experience to get a job at a local veterinary clinic. There I acted as a receptionist, client care coordinator, and veterinary assistant. I counseled clients regarding nutrition, behavioral problems, obesity, parasite problems, geriatric, flea problems, pre- and post-operative care, treatment instructions, etc. as well as assisting veterinarians and technicians with pets and diagnostics as necessary. After doing this for a few years I became familiar with veterinary medical terminology and procedures, how to perform wellness examinations, and how to recognize significant changes in health and mentation. This led to me being able to get a job at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician in immediate and intensive care in Auburn’s emergency and critical care department for most of my career before going back to general practice. After working in general practice for one year I realized my passion was in emergency medicine and I started working at an emergency clinic as an overnight ICU nurse. After my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer I decided to take a step back from full time veterinary medicine as I was facing compassion fatigue and burn out. That’s when I decided not to let my 10+ years of experience go to waste and I started my “business”, Lemon’s Aid. "Lemon's Aid" was founded in honor of my special needs puppy, Lemon. About: I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned about my pets to others. Every pet has their own personality I want to get to know them. Pet car fits perfectly into my schedule as I complete college online and am home majority of the day they always have my undivided attention. I have a semi fenced yard but so much for them to run in the back. I have a fur baby of my own who loves to play, he’s gentle and sweet. He treats other dogs with respect and knows to set a boundary if they want to play or not.
