They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs in the Birmingham area especially if you’re traveling between Birmingham and Talladega. Great experience all around!”

About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

About: I offer pet sitting Monday through Friday from 6am-4pm (I can be flexible on the hours), as well as over night stays and weekend stays, and dog walking. I am comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I do prefer long term care (I will watch your pet same hours weekly) but am also open to one time care as well. I have a large fenced in back yard, a great neighborhood for walking and I will also allow the pets to stay inside as well. I do have a 4 year old who will be home during the summer but will be in school starting August but he is very good with animals. I look forward to hearing from you.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 10 plus years. You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.
About: I have owned dogs ever since I was a little kid. I currently have 3 dogs who are all great dogs. I am currently a teacher but like hanging out with dogs in my spare time. I have worked for a dog boarding facility for 5 years and have all the training needed to care for your pups! I am a full time teacher but wake up extra early to walk the dogs. When I am at work the dogs will spend time inside I have a fenced in back yard where your dogs could spend time playing. I do not allow dogs to stay outside while I am gone
