“Our mini dachshund can be a challenge because he is older, and a bit of a loner. He isn’t around a lot of other animals and that can also make knowing how he will react a bit of a challenge. Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down. Thomas was very patient with him and let Snick become more acquainted with him and with the yard. He sent me pictures throughout the stay to update me on how he was doing and what he was up to. Thomas made me feel much more relaxed and confident that Snicklefritz was doing well. We will certainly rebook in the future.”

I was a little concerned about how my shy rescue would do amongst her pack but she sent plenty of photos showing him happily walking on a leash, hanging out on her sofa and eating his food. It's not really an environment where he can run like crazy as he does at home in his fenced yard, but I'm confident he's kept safe and taken for walks on fun trails.”

About: I’ve lived in a multiple animal household my whole life. Now I have 3 pups of my own and 2 outdoor cats that come first. I work full-time but am available before 8 am, lunch break from 12-1, and after 5 pm through the week and all day during weekends I have a fenced in yard. Dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please, roam common areas, and take naps wherever, whenever.

About: I’ve taken care of animals from a young age and I’ve grown to love it, I love it so much I’m going to school and turning working with animals into a full time career. “I can’t say enough great things about Thomas! He was able to accommodate me last minute, which I really appreciated. I boarded Jasper with him for a night, and since it was my first time leaving Jasper overnight I was nervous — but Thomas put me completely at ease. He sent photo updates throughout the stay, and Jasper absolutely loved playing with his dogs in the fenced-in yard. The experience was so great that I brought Jasper back again for daycare, and once again it went perfectly. As a pet parent, it’s always tough to trust someone else with our fur babies, but the moment you meet Thomas you can feel how much he loves dogs and that he’ll treat yours like his own. About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was a young child! Even when I was barely four feet tall, I delighted in taking care of, feeding, walking, and of course playing with our pups! And now as an adult, I have 2 rescue dogs that I have trained up and loved on (one a senior dog and one a puppy). Caring for dogs truly gives me joy and allows me to pour into others and give back. We don’t deserve dogs, but I sure am grateful we get to share our lives with them! I work full time from home and have complete flexibility with my work schedule. Leaves me time to feed the dogs, let the dogs out in the back yard, and ample amount of play time! I have a fully fenced in back yard with over half an acre for the dogs to play. About: I can’t remember a time in my life I haven’t had at least 4 or 5 dogs around me. My family calls me a dog whisperer. Me and dogs just.. understand each other… I think they read the “grandparent” energy I have for them! Every dog loves me because I take care of them and listen to them. Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down.
