She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 10 plus years. You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.

“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

Keeping your fur babies are safe and plenty of rubs and love. At my home I always check my gates and fence line for safety. I always go out with them for safety, walks and playtime. About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I have watched dogs as small as 10 pounds to dogs as big as 80 pounds or over, I have a very special place in my heart for any & all animals! My first pet fully on my own was a chinchilla named Chee who I got my sophomore year of college and since then, the pets have only grown. I currently have two large breed dogs. Bo is a 3-year-old belgian malinios mix and Bailey is a 1-year-old German Shepard. I am a licensed pharmacist who has recently cut back to part-time and I began looking for a non-healthcare way to spend my time. About: my entire life i’ve grown up around animals! since i was 10, i was walking my childhood lab around on a leash. i worked as a dog groomer for 2 years and i have a huge passion for anything pet related, especially what makes them happiest. anytime spent around animals is when im most comfortable, no matter how difficult the task may be. I’m completely free on Tuesdays, so I have no problem with taking care of your pups all day if needed! I work every other day, but I wanted to find time to helps pets on top of everything else! I’m a very athletic person, and have no problem taking your fur baby on lengthy walks, or to parks if wanted. Particularly difficult paths or uphill walks are no issue for me!
About: I have had pets most of my life. My dogs have been small breeds but I love them all. My dog recently passed away (age) and I thought how great it would be to love on others pets. I have a part time job with a flexible schedule so would be able to care for your pet most days. I would love to be of service. I am able to take your pet on walks, play with them to burn energy & whatever your needs are. These will be done at your house/neighborhood.
About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life and currently have three of my own! I often watch my family and friends’ pets when they go on vacation or out of town! I don’t mind walking, playing, bathing, or giving your fur babies all the attention they need/want! I work full time M-F 8-4:30. On days I work, I can guarantee that your dog(s) go out right before I leave for work and right when I get home and right before bed. On days I don’t work I will make sure your dog goes out every atleast 3 hours with plenty of play time. At my home, I currently have 6 dogs of my own that are crate trained so if your dog(s) aren’t too fond of other dogs I can keep them separated. I prefer pets to be crate trained so if I have to leave the house they can be put up to ensure they don’t get into anything but it’s not a deal breaker if they aren’t. I can feed, water, and give medicine if need be based on your pets needs.
About: I am in my twenties and have had animals all my life. I am a professional pet groomer, and my life revolves around animals. Your pets will be in the best hands! I work at a fear-free certified pet salon where I keep pets comfortable and make them beautiful! Your babies are my top priority and I will make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away! There are always a handful of friendly dogs and cats running around my house. I have plenty of space to keep pups separated if needed. I even have a special bedroom set up just for the pups! It is my priority to make your pups feel at home while in my care.

Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
