My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. But Kelly and her family acted quickly and within 36 hours, helped KoKo settle and return to his normal playful healthy state! I told Kelly and I will tell the world… she’s not just a sitter… she’s a BLESSING for people that love their fur babies and want the best home away from home for them! About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was a pet sitter via word of mouth in Florida but I just moved here so I'm trying to find new clients! I’ve cared for a variety of pets, from exotics (chinchillas, ferrets, squirrels, opossums, etc) to reptiles, rodents, dogs, and cats. About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

“I had not boarded Penny since Dec. 2019 due to the Pandemic and, was apprehensive about leaving her for an extended period of time with someone new. We had a really good meet and greet which helped alleviate the anxiety somewhat. However, Stephanie was amazing- she sent reports with pictures and/or videos daily. Penny got along with her dog so she had companionship as well. After the first couple of days gone I just didn’t worry about her anymore and was able to enjoy my first vacation since 2019. I highly recommend Stephanie and would use her again!”

I’ve had dogs as pets in the past, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for them. I’ve also personally used Rover for my own pets’ care, so I know what pet owners are hoping for when they leave their animals with someone else: clear communication, reliability, patience, and genuine kindness. I work in education, which has made me calm, responsible, flexible, and very attentive to individual needs and routines. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, playful, shy, or just wants a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any specific care requests. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pets are family, and I’ll care for them with the same attention and respect I would want for my own. I am a teacher so I am at home for the summer. Your pet will have many opportunities to go outside during the day in a fenced yard, we can play in the yard, and we will have time for two walks a day. When pets are at my home, they can make themselves comfortable! They are allowed on all the furniture, I have a large screened in porch, and there is a fenced yard. I spend most of my day at home, so they will have company and time to go outside.
