Lindsey, John and their three amazing children are a beautiful family that bubble over with love, warmth and enthusiasm. When I first arrived with Toby, I was a bit tentative, as I’d never left him in a private home with strangers. But the minute Lindsey and two of her children stepped out to greet us, I knew he’d be in great hands! Lindsey was so welcoming yet also calm and confident in the way she allowed Toby to greet them first. She then allowed Toby to explore their beautiful home while I provided instruction for his care. Then, out he went to their backyard, a beautiful and well maintained lush green paradise, the perfect place for dogs to run and play! But the best was yet to come. They, too, have a Corgi, George, and both George and Toby played well together. Each day I received great pics and videos along with a brief text about Toby’s day. If I had any questions, they responded immediately. Lindsey and John truly provided a home away from home for Toby that was unparalleled to anything I have experienced, and I can’t thank them enough! I am so glad to have found them and will definitely be calling them again next time we leave for a vacation!”

About: My wife and I both grew up with pets and lovingly cared for our dog and two cats for over 17 years before they crossed the rainbow bridge. We recognize that each pet has their own unique needs, and are patient and responsive to ensure they are well cared for. I work from home full-time and my wife works from home part-time. Between the two of us, we are available to provide dogs with two short walks and one long walk a day and make sure they have plenty of food and water - and of course plenty of cuddles if they like that. Our home offers a clean and calm environment for any pet adjusting to a new place temporarily. Any well behaved pet is free to roam throughout the main rooms, and we have a fenced in backyard for dogs that like to be outside. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions and feeding patterns you have. If you prefer for your pet to be in a crate, we can set that up as well. We also have a well behaved six year old daughter who adores animals. We also do in-home visits and can do any feeding, walking, and litter box cleaning as needed.

About: Hello! My name is Sydney. I gained a variety of pet care experience while living on a farm in Kansas, working at a veterinary hospital for four years and dog sitting for years prior. I have a sweet, docile older pup of my own who lays around and gets along with everyone. Especially my two cats! She just loves making friends. However, depending on client’s preferences I also have the space in my home to comfortably separate their pets from any combination of mine depending on your/your pet’s comfort level. My home allows for walking opportunities at the Monte Sano Land Trust as well as Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve, and a fenced in dog yard to play in. My goal is to provide the most knowledgeable and experienced service possible for dog owners like myself who want to take great care of their pets! I work from home all of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I already keep track of my own pets and have the space to do so with much more. Safety is of the utmost concern to me for your pets. I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. About: I have been a dog lover since I was a small child. I was raised with dogs, cats, ferrets, fish- you name it! Lol. I actually own three dogs of my own! I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl named Aila and I am currently a stay at home mama. My husband and I take them on tons of adventures whenever we can and spoil them rotten. I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of breeds and have rescued most of the dogs in my life from local shelters and rescues. I have a lot of respect for animals and find them to be the most intelligent and resilient creatures. I adore being around them. I have dog sat many times over the years for people. I figured why not add some variety to my life! So, I decided to join Rover! 😍 I treat every pet that comes through my door, like my own. I provide fun extras too. When I board dogs in my home, on their last day they get treated like they are at a spa. Every dog gets a pup cup! I also spray them with pet deodorizing spray and give them a greenie so they go home smelling so nice. I have extra crates and dog bowls that are all thoroughly sanitized between dog visits. I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I book a lot of clients over holidays too! My daughter also loves to help me care for the dogs. I have been teaching her about dog care and respect for animals since she was very young. She loves every second of it. She even helps me take them outside to play and helps me prep for feeding time too. She knows to respect animals and give them space when they need it. But to be honest what mostly ends up happening is she watches tv with them and they snuggle so much and have snacks :) I have a fenced in back yard in a very safe and dog friendly community. About: I’ve cared for birds, chickens, ducks, and dogs—there’s nothing I can’t handle! I’ve wanted to be a vet since Kindergarten, and pet sitting is the closest I’ve gotten so far. I am a college student so I might be out of your house for 2 hours or so but I’ll always let you know. I’m always available to watch the babies. About: I have spent time as a sitter for a large and very wild dog, and I walked it while I was there as well, and have had many dogs while growing up and helped take care of all of them. I am only working part time, so I can devote plenty of time to caring for your pet, and I am off most weekends too. I can feed your pet and as long as I'm at your house I can let them out whenever it's needed, I also would love to walk it so we can both stretch our legs!
