“My dog, Ryder, enjoyed his stay with Charlie and his dogs. Charlie was very accommodating. We set up a meet and greet for our dogs and they ended up playing for 2 hours! I was updated daily, however much I requested. I only had to provide food and anything else I specifically wanted to bring. Charlie had an extra kennel and plenty of toys. He did walks with Ryder and made sure he got all that lab energy out. We’re back home now and Ryder’s going to sleep for a few days. He’s worn out from his great weekend!! I’m looking forward to using Charlie and his family again.”
About: I watched my friends and families pet whenever they go out of town ever since I was 22, I love being around animals in general. “I CANNOT express enough how amazing Michael is. He was prompt responding to me. Easy to navigate having him come and meet my boys to see how everything will work. He kept in contact with me and even stayed a little more to love on my boys since I was gone for a week. I came home and my house wasn't a wreck, my boys were happy to have mom home, and my litter box was perfect. I was able to relax and visit with my family because I knew my boys were being taken care of. He sent tons of pictures and videos and loved them the way I do. I can't say enough good. About: I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land. I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s! I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. As a teenager I used to do volunteer work with dog shelters/cat sanctuaries, and I currently have 3 years experience as a kennel technician/vet assistant in a clinic setting. As a stay at home parent/wife, I have a flexible schedule to focus on providing care and attention for your fur babies. (Pets with indoor crate/pen training are a plus in case I have to leave the home during the day at any point to ensure your pets safety) I have recently decided to start working from home, so i am able to provide quality time and attention for your pet while they are in my care. (My weekends are mostly open, but during the summer months we spend a lot of time on the lake/river, so it’s also a plus if you have a dog that loves the water. My dachshund would love a boating buddy!) I have a large, shaded fenced in yard where your pets can freely run and play. When your pets are in my care, they are treated the same as my own. My couch is their couch, and if they want to burrow under the covers or at the foot of the bed, mine will just have to scoot on over and make some extra room, haha. Above I mentioned that crate trained pets are a plus for any time during their stay I have to leave the house. My dachshund is a known chewer/scavenger, so she stays in a large indoor pen if I have to leave the house and it has become a safe space for her.

I grew up around all kinds of animals but dogs & cats were the one constant. I have had experience with puppies & kittens, adults & seniors. I have basic knowledge about giving oral medicine, injections, first aid & general behavior. I learned a lot about animals from watching my mother, she might as well be Ellie Mae Clampet! I didn't fall very far from her tree, Lol. I know I'm just like her & I believe that's a good thing. I remember how all the strays & injured wildlife in our neighborhood would find our house because they knew we would take care of them. I also learned from watching our dogs & cats over the years & those we fostered when I was a teenager & the way they would interact with each other, what they were saying with their body language. I currently live on my parents farm while I am helping them with my grandparents & helping take care of the farm, so I am unable to sit anybody at their house or watch anyone overnight, unless it is at your residence. We have horses, some inside cats, outside barn cats, & a few very spoiled dogs. Animals are loving, gentle creatures & should always be trated with respect, care & love. My dog is always there to comfort me & make my day better. My dog is my heart & I will treat yours like they were my own. Animals are a gift & I love being around all these different amazing creatures all the time. Upon request, I can take last minute bookings, I understand that things come up in life. This is most of my schedule. I do some online work but that can be done at any time. You set the schedule. If you ask me to be there at a certain time then that is when I will be there. I will freely admit that very early mornings are difficult for me at this present time due to a few circumstances, but I will always do my very best for your fur kids, big & small, no matter the breed or species! I can only watch animals in your home at this time. But if they need fed, they will eat. If they need to go on a walk & not just run around the back yard, we'll go on a walk. We'll play with their favorite toy, snuggle on the sofa, make sure they have a good day. Then before I leave I will make sure any mess is cleaned up & that the house is the way it was before I got there.

About: I grew up having a cat as my family pet. I’ve also dog sat for work friends and I genuinely love it. I’m young so I have a lot of energy to play with your pet. I’m a licensed realtor in Alabama so I make my own schedule and can work from anywhere so I’m very adaptable. I can work Monday-Saturday after 10am. I live in a house with a large backyard so your pet has plenty of space to play. I also currently do not have a pet of my own so your pet will get my full attention which increases safety.

About: I’ve taking care of pets my whole life. In High school I wanted to be a veterinarian so I got an internship at a local vet clinic. Did the internship for a couple of months then got a job taking care of the dogs in the kennel for boarding. I did that for about 3 1/2 years. I also have two dogs of my own! I work part time at a restaurant and I don’t really have a set day of when i’ll be available. Every schedule is different but I mostly work nights and available during the day. So, if your dog is large and likes to run outside, it can. I also have a screened in back porch. You baby will be safe and loved in my home. I am retired and spend most of my time at home. So your dog will be supervised, as per hour request. I am flexible and will listen to the owners request, as much as possible. I have a fenced in acre of land. I also have a screen in back porch. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! They know if you are of good character, or not.
