About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

I do want to be fully transparent—I live in a trailer in a quiet trailer park, which unfortunately isn’t an option to select on Rover (they only allow “home,” “apartment,” or “farm”). While my neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, I promise it’s much friendlier than it looks. All of my neighbors are senior citizens and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. My best friend lives next door and helps keep an eye on my little one if I ever need to step out for errands or groceries, so your dog will always be safe and looked after. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard and typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. We have three female dogs of our own (pug & pug mix) and they would love to have friends over to play ball. I look forward to helping you with all your boarding and care needs. We have a medium kennel suited with small pillow and blankets that are washed before and after. I will ensure that at all times your pet is on a leash. I will also do daily photos of your dog sent through text messages if requested.

After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs in the Birmingham area especially if you’re traveling between Birmingham and Talladega. Great experience all around!”

“Shelby was a life saver and the best dog walker ever. I had to bring my dog to my parents house for an out of state trip for two weeks. My parents are +70 years old and can’t walk my husky dog. I met Shelby and she was the only person I needed to see. Prince loved her immediately so I knew he was in good hands. Shelby gave Prince daily walks for one hour. Took him on trips to dog parks and even gave him a bath on his last day since it was a rainy week. I highly recommend her for any service and if I’m ever back in town with Prince I’ll definitely see if she’s available.”

About: In my life I have had many dog sitting experiences, I have my own dogs & cats! I have watched dogs as small as 10 pounds to dogs as big as 80 pounds or over, I have a very special place in my heart for any & all animals! About: I've had pets since I was 7 years old. I've had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, a turtle, and rats! I've taken care of neighbors, friends, and family's pets as well several times. I trained my corgi from puppy hood how to do several tricks as well as potty-trained her. I work full time, but I always feed my dog twice a day, take her outside to potty 3-4 times a day, and make sure my cats litter box is clean several times a week, as well as her food/water being supplied and clean. Of course, in my free time, I also love to play with my pets and cuddle with them. Sometimes, on the weekends, I take my dog to a dog park. I am available during my lunch hour, 1-2pm, and after 5pm Monday through Friday. I am fully available on Saturdays and Sundays. I love love love animals. I will treat your fur baby as if he/she were my own. I like to make sure your fur baby feels safe with me. I'll get on their level, move slowly, talk in low volume, etc. I will do my very best to make an anxious/nervous dog feel at ease with me. I will leash your dog 100% of the time when we go outside, unless in a backyard. I'm always very aware of my surroundings when I go on a walk. Your pet is my #1 priority when I am with him/her.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. “I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”
