About: I have always had a fur baby in my life. My husband and I recently lost both of our dogs and cat. I love walking, playing, snuggling and all other activities with pups. I will work with you on what your needs are for your fur family member while you are away. My ultimate goal is to have my own full time doggie care. I live in a neighborhood that’s great for walking or going to dog park at Sokol Park. I provide pickup and drop-off within a 10 miles. Above all, I will treat your pet like a member of my family & love on them while you’re away. I’m a PreK teacher so I’m free during the summer and most holidays. Even during the school year I am still able to stay at a client’s house if pet can be let alone during the day. My husband works from home so your pet will have someone with them during the day. However, your pet must not be very needy so that it doesn’t interfere with his work. He does take several breaks and your pet will have availability to be outside several times a day. I enjoy sitting outside enjoying the sunshine or going for walks is also fun activities for mine. We keep a large bed for your pet, toys, and a few treats. I love taking “paw” trips to the park or pet store. I am open to most anything your dog(s) needs.

I was gone multiple weeks and she made sure my kitty was well fed, spoiled with catnip, and given love. She sent adorable photos every visit and I truly felt my cat was in great hands. About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ Summer is here! 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ To me they are our babies, & like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with fan, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 10 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Occasionally, I stop by the Tuscaloosa animal shelter to volunteer and I love being the reason a pup was happy that day. About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

About: Since I was little, I was around animals all the time. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). Although I do not want the commitment of adding a dog to the mix full-time, I also love taking care and playing with all puppers! I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible work times. I can schedule walks and check-ups early in the mornings and starting after 5 pm in the afternoon. I am available most weekends, both Saturday and Sunday. I will familiarize myself with your space and where your pets are allowed. It is important to me to understand if your pet will try to test limits and rules with me that might apply in your home. Both cats and dogs react differently to strangers, so it is important for me to not force them to interact if they want their space.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always come naturally to me. Growing up, I regularly pet sat for neighbors, caring for dogs, cats, and even exotic animals, and over time I built a loyal client base in my hometown that turned pet sitting into a consistent job. I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes from training and keeping up with energetic puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. Having had dogs my entire life, including rescues from shelters, I’m very comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and temperaments. As a current senior at UA, I have a very flexible schedule and am looking to pet sit full time, which allows me to be fully available for boarding, walks, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. Because I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 schedule, I can give pets consistent attention, maintain their routines, and be present for their needs at all hours. This flexibility also means I can easily accommodate specific requests from owners and ensure their pets get the time, care, and supervision they deserve. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and the service requested, whether in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed, keeping to their usual feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions provided. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel secure in their familiar space. This includes feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care like administering medication or following training guidelines. I’m respectful of the home, keep everything tidy, and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I grew up owning pets of all kinds and played a significant role in the care and education of them from an early age. Whether it was cleaning up their messes, bathing them, walking them, feeding them, or breeding cocker spaniels, it was something I loved to do. I was taught that our pets were family and so I will treat yours like my best friends at the very least. I find it difficult to leave my little buddy when I leave town, so you can rest assured yours will be given the same care I expect from whomever I leave in care of my pets. I don't want them to sit in a crate all day and night, I expect for them to get the exercise and attention they need to grow and feel loved.
About: I bring the magic where ever I go, especially to visit the dogs and cats I watch. I love to take them on adventures. Some of my regulars include the 2 cutest Dachshunds downtown. I’m experienced with all breed and sizes! I am a local contractor so my schedule is very flexible. I can do mid day walks or drop ins as long as I don’t have a job to do! I will always take your dog on regular walks and play with younger dogs or any who have the energy. I know how to pet the grumpiest of cats without them walking away! I will give your pet a lot of attention as I know they might be missing you and want them to be relaxed as possible!
About: I have always loved being around and taking care of animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and am responsible for feeding, grooming, and playing with them. Both of my babies come with their own special needs (one is deaf and the other has seizures) so I am well equipped to deal with any disabilities that may require special attention. About: I have always had a fur baby in my life. My husband and I recently lost both of our dogs and cat. I love walking, playing, snuggling and all other activities with pups. I will work with you on what your needs are for your fur family member while you are away. My ultimate goal is to have my own full time doggie care. I live in a neighborhood that’s great for walking or going to dog park at Sokol Park. I provide pickup and drop-off within a 10 miles. Above all, I will treat your pet like a member of my family & love on them while you’re away. I’m a PreK teacher so I’m free during the summer and most holidays. Even during the school year I am still able to stay at a client’s house if pet can be let alone during the day. My husband works from home so your pet will have someone with them during the day. However, your pet must not be very needy so that it doesn’t interfere with his work. He does take several breaks and your pet will have availability to be outside several times a day. I enjoy sitting outside enjoying the sunshine or going for walks is also fun activities for mine. We keep a large bed for your pet, toys, and a few treats. I love taking “paw” trips to the park or pet store. I am open to most anything your dog(s) needs.
