About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover based in Huntsville. I’ve had dogs as pets in the past, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for them. I’ve also personally used Rover for my own pets’ care, so I know what pet owners are hoping for when they leave their animals with someone else: clear communication, reliability, patience, and genuine kindness. I work in education, which has made me calm, responsible, flexible, and very attentive to individual needs and routines. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, playful, shy, or just wants a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any specific care requests. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pets are family, and I’ll care for them with the same attention and respect I would want for my own. I am a teacher so I am at home for the summer. Your pet will have many opportunities to go outside during the day in a fenced yard, we can play in the yard, and we will have time for two walks a day. When pets are at my home, they can make themselves comfortable! They are allowed on all the furniture, I have a large screened in porch, and there is a fenced yard. I spend most of my day at home, so they will have company and time to go outside.
“My Mila Jean had a great time, especially getting lots of outside time to play, and was well taken care of. Annie is a kind and wonderful sitter with great accommodations for your fur baby’s stay!”

“I cannot express my gratitude for Kelly, adequately!! I would absolutely book with her and her family a million times over! She was very accommodating and patient from start to finish! My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. But Kelly and her family acted quickly and within 36 hours, helped KoKo settle and return to his normal playful healthy state! I told Kelly and I will tell the world… she’s not just a sitter… she’s a BLESSING for people that love their fur babies and want the best home away from home for them! Kelly and Brian (and precious little ones…), THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!🙏🏽”
“We highly recommend Barbara and her husband as the y took great care of our 15 year old senior pup. Our dog has some memory problems at his old age, and Barbara met with us beforehand to allow him to meet her, and also her sweet dog and to allow our dog to visit the house beforehand. During his stay, she kept me updated with photos and quick text updates which I really appreciated. They did a great job making our old pup comfortable for his time with them! We would reuse their service and will recommend them to others!”

“Bethany did a wonderful job of taking care of our girls. She provides great updates and is very mindful of the cat's emotions and make sure to cause as little stress as possible while we're gone. I think that's good”

“Taylor has been fantastic caring for our cat. She even was able to apply his topical flea meds! Bailey is shy with new people but Taylor has done an excellent job keeping us informed of his daily activity. Thank you!”

About: I’ve cared for cats most of my life and currently have 3 of my own. I understand that every cat has their own personality and comfort level, and I try to create a calm, safe environment where they can feel at ease. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter box care, playtime, and giving cats attention at their own pace , whether they’re social, shy, or independent. Friends and family have trusted me for years to care for their pets while away, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
About: Hi I’m Hailie, I have 2 ferrets who have their own room in my home. I also have a fur baby named flounder! I’m a dog lover with 4+ years of hands-on experience in doggy daycares and grooming salons, and I currently work part-time at a daycare. Basically—I speak dog fluently 🐶 I’m used to all kinds of pups, from high-energy goofballs to shy or anxious dogs who need a calm, patient approach. Whether your dog is staying in my home or heading out for a walk, they’ll get lots of attention, structure, and love! What you can expect: • 🐾 A safe, comfy home environment • 🐾 Walks, playtime, and plenty of affection • 🐾 Someone who understands dog behavior and body language • 🐾 Updates & photos so you can relax while you’re away I treat every dog like they’re my own (yes, that includes talking to them like a best friend). Can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐾 Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently work part-time at a dog daycare, so my day naturally revolves around caring for dogs, understanding their needs, and making sure they’re safe and happy. On days I’m home, I structure my schedule around the pets in my care—making time for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. For boarding, dogs in my home get a consistent routine with regular potty breaks, exercise, and a calm, comfortable environment. My home is a calm, clean, dog-friendly space where your pup can relax and be themselves. I stick to their normal routine as much as possible—feeding, potty breaks, walks, all of it—so they feel comfortable and settled!
About: I’ve taken care of animals for a long time now, friends, family has always let me watch their animals while they leave town. Also bath, toe nail trim, ears cleaned & teeth brushed! “Eric was professional and punctual. I mentioned my puppy has separation anxiety, and he chose to spend extra time with him than I had booked him for. I 100% recommend Eric, and I will absolutely book him again in the future.”

About: I have had many cats over the years and currently care for about five of my own, along with several neighborhood strays that I feed and watch over. I’ve even had stray cats give birth in my garage, so I’m familiar with caring for newborn kittens and supporting mama cats during those early, delicate stages. I’m comfortable with all aspects of feline care—from feeding and deep-cleaning litter boxes to brushing, playtime, and administering medication—as long as the cat is calm and cooperative during the process. For safety reasons, I will need to decline if a cat becomes aggressive or extremely fearful when being medicated. I’ve been bitten before and have experienced infections, so I understand the risks of cat scratch disease and Pasteurella. Your cat’s well-being and my safety are both top priorities. I will also make any needed accommodations for cats on special diets and will follow your feeding instructions to the best of my ability. Whether your cat needs specific food prep, scheduled meals, or separate feeding from other pets, I’ve got it covered. What sets me apart is my genuine love for cats, years of hands-on experience, and a strong attention to detail. I go the extra mile to make sure every cat in my care feels safe, relaxed, and truly at home—just like I do for my own.

As a stay at home, homeschooling momma I am available just about ANY time or day! We do travel sometimes and will always give ample notice! I have a fenced in yard with a friendly dog myself. About: My wife and I both grew up with pets and lovingly cared for our dog and two cats for over 17 years before they crossed the rainbow bridge. We recognize that each pet has their own unique needs, and are patient and responsive to ensure they are well cared for. I work from home full-time and my wife works from home part-time. Between the two of us, we are available to provide dogs with two short walks and one long walk a day and make sure they have plenty of food and water - and of course plenty of cuddles if they like that. Our home offers a clean and calm environment for any pet adjusting to a new place temporarily. Any well behaved pet is free to roam throughout the main rooms, and we have a fenced in backyard for dogs that like to be outside. We can accommodate any dietary restrictions and feeding patterns you have. If you prefer for your pet to be in a crate, we can set that up as well. We also have a well behaved six year old daughter who adores animals. We also do in-home visits and can do any feeding, walking, and litter box cleaning as needed.
About: Hello! My name is Sydney. I gained a variety of pet care experience while living on a farm in Kansas, working at a veterinary hospital for four years and dog sitting for years prior. I have a sweet, docile older pup of my own who lays around and gets along with everyone. Especially my two cats! She just loves making friends. However, depending on client’s preferences I also have the space in my home to comfortably separate their pets from any combination of mine depending on your/your pet’s comfort level. My home allows for walking opportunities at the Monte Sano Land Trust as well as Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve, and a fenced in dog yard to play in. My goal is to provide the most knowledgeable and experienced service possible for dog owners like myself who want to take great care of their pets! I work from home all of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I already keep track of my own pets and have the space to do so with much more. Safety is of the utmost concern to me for your pets. I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. My dog is a scavenger and she’s done a really great job of forcing me to dog-proof this place so there’s absolutely nothing to possibly get into. Like I mentioned in my bio, I do have the space available to prevent any interaction between a client’s dog and mine if they feel that would be a risk at all, or if I sensed at any point that it would be. They don’t get a kennel, they get a whole spare bedroom and the living room! And just take turns in the yard. I’m willing to go to lengths to ensure clients feel comfortable with the safety of their animal in my home.
“Annie was great at communicating and was super responsive. Our dog was tired out when we picked him up, which was great! She'd a great dog-sitting option in the Vail/Beaver Creek area!”

About: I’m dependable, caring and truly dog-loving and I create a calm, loving experience that helps pets feel safe and relaxed. I’m truly the dog whisperer. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule for early morning, mid morning, after lunch and evening playtime, walks, and fetch in the yard. I have a fenced yard, sidewalks in my neighborhood and a lot of room for indoor play on rainy days. Happy to come to your house also.
About: I have hands on veterinary assisting experience, strong understanding of animal behavior, and my ability to care for a wide range of species not just dogs and cats. I’m comfortable supporting pets with structure and routine. I have experience caring for neonate puppies who need consistency and extra monitoring, as well as senior pets who require patience, and gentle handling. I’m also confident handling large and powerful breeds. Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I run an online freeze-dried raw pet treat business and spend most of my time working from home or actively caring for animals. At home, I spend a great deal of time with my own dogs through structured activities like long wooded walks, socialization, and desensitization work. I also work with clients who need support with whelping and early puppy care. I provide structured, calm care with safety as the priority. Dogs are supervised during free time and I believe in crate training as a positive tool for rest and security. Feeding is done separately to respect space, followed by quiet crate time after meals to help prevent bloat. Once rested, dogs return to supervised free time.
About: I’m 31 years old, a single mom, and the owner of Daisy’s Creative Cuts & Colors LLC, as well as a REALTOR and photography business owner. I have a genuine love for animals, and because I spend a lot of time at home, I’m able to be with them almost all of the time. I can groom the dogs in my care so they go home fresh and clean, and I also work on light training while they’re with me. This is my career, and I take great pride in the work I do. I’m willing to care for dogs that others may turn away, because I truly believe dogs are incredibly intelligent and intuitive animals. I see dogs and cats as very special, and I treat every fur baby as if they were my own. If you choose me to care for your pet, you won’t regret it. I also love meeting my dogs’ families, I’ve met some amazing people and formed long-term friendships through this journey. I spend plenty of time with my animals I keep since I work from home a lot. I update you on how they are through the day as well. I have a fenced in yard. We will be outside most of the time. We go for walks and to the park. I also send pictures everyday so you can feel closer to your fur babies.

About: An animal lover of all shapes and sizes, I’ve grown up around animals all my life. I have been professionally pet sitting for almost two years, and during this time have amassed many different breeds and knowledge of their behavior during this time! My birth family primarily owned cats, including a diabetic old grump and kittens, and I’m generally known as a “cat whisperer”! Later on, my grandparents and I adopted a toy poodle named Pierre, who eventually developed diabetes as a senior, which we had to medicate. After he passed away we adopted our standard poodle, Isabelle, who was my soul puppy. She unfortunately passed away in January of 23 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, so I’m accustomed to providing all sorts of medical care as well as extremely customized diets and medication schedules. And right now my family and I are raising another standard poodle- Nova! She’s 2, and the light of my life. I raised and trained Nova and Isabelle, so I’m used to the puppy stage also. I’ve also grew up around fishkeeping & small animals of all kinds, and as a high-schooler/adult I’ve been a reptile/amphibian keeper. Specifically, I’ve owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, axolotls, snakes, geckos, chameleons, hermit crabs, and a hedgehog. While I have not personally owned birds, I’m very knowledgeable in their care also! This is currently my job! I am in college and attend class Mondays and Wedsnesdays 11-2. Next spring semester has classes Monday&Wedsnesday from 11-2, and Tues/Thurs 11-12:30 Depending on the dog, we’ll spend the day relaxing or playing and at the end of the day we’ll be all tuckered out. Your pups safety and wellbeing is always my top priority! I will follow any instructions given and provide frequent updates & pictures. I am also well-versed in pair dynamics & anxious dogs!
About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

About: I have two beautiful dogs and two amazing quarter horses! I've had several cats, other dogs, rabbits and a guinea pig. Trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable. I am currently retired, so I have a flexible schedule. My two dogs are low maintenance, so no problem there!! I could possibly be available with a minimum notice! I have an invisible fence with collars for my pets. The dogs are never crated and sleep on the bed with me! They are my babies!! I take great care to make sure they are healthy and loved!!
“Alison was fantastic with my dog and made the whole experience super easy and stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure my dog was comfortable and well taken care of. I really appreciated the updates and could tell my dog enjoyed the walks and time with her. I’d definitely recommend Alison to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring.”

“Taylor is great. She says hello to Marshmallow and loves on him every time she comes over to walk him. Marshmallow gets excited when he sees her and he only gets excited for food.”

I have a rescue dog myself that I consider part of the family. I look forward to meeting and spoiling your Furbabies! I work three 12-hour night shifts each week, so my days and off-days are very flexible. I plan my bookings around my schedule to make sure each pet gets my full attention and care. While caring for pets in the client’s home I will stick to the owner's routine for feeding, walks and keep the dogs mentally and physically stimulated with playtime and affection. About: I have been a dog lover since I was a small child. I was raised with dogs, cats, ferrets, fish- you name it! Lol. I actually own three dogs of my own! I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl named Aila and I am currently a stay at home mama. My husband and I take them on tons of adventures whenever we can and spoil them rotten. I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of breeds and have rescued most of the dogs in my life from local shelters and rescues. I have a lot of respect for animals and find them to be the most intelligent and resilient creatures. I adore being around them. I have dog sat many times over the years for people. I figured why not add some variety to my life! So, I decided to join Rover! 😍 I treat every pet that comes through my door, like my own. I provide fun extras too. When I board dogs in my home, on their last day they get treated like they are at a spa. Every dog gets a pup cup! I also spray them with pet deodorizing spray and give them a greenie so they go home smelling so nice. I have extra crates and dog bowls that are all thoroughly sanitized between dog visits. I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I book a lot of clients over holidays too! My daughter also loves to help me care for the dogs. I have been teaching her about dog care and respect for animals since she was very young. She loves every second of it. She even helps me take them outside to play and helps me prep for feeding time too. She knows to respect animals and give them space when they need it. But to be honest what mostly ends up happening is she watches tv with them and they snuggle so much and have snacks :) I have a fenced in back yard in a very safe and dog friendly community. My husband and I are both animal lovers, and he often helps me with visits—especially when extra hands are helpful, like with larger dogs or farm animals. We work as a team to ensure your pet receives safe, attentive, and loving care. I’ve been caring for animals since I was 8 years old, and I now have over 10 years of personal and professional experience with a wide variety of pets. I hold both the Rover 101 badge and a Verified Enhanced Background Check badge, so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable, trustworthy hands. I specialize in cats, dogs, rabbits, and farm animals, including goats, donkeys, chickens, and ducks. I grew up caring for animals on a family friend’s farm while they were away, and I’ve also worked at a pet resort at a veterinary clinic. In high school, I earned the Gold CGSP award for excellence in service and professional manners. I provide drop-in visits only, which is perfect for pets who are most comfortable in their own home. I will follow all your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and reinforce any training you’ve put in place. I’m happy to provide exercise, playtime, brushing, and even bathing during visits—just let me know what your pet needs! I am committed to punctuality and reliability. I do everything I can to arrive on time or even early, unless something unavoidable like traffic or an accident occurs. Availability: • As a teacher, I am currently available for weekend and holiday visits only. • I do not offer late-night services; my latest visit time is 7:00 PM. • My schedule is very flexible on weekends, and I’m happy to work with you to find the best plan for your pet. Whether your pet needs playtime, snuggles, or just a calm, familiar routine, I’m here to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Feel free to message me with any questions—I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! As a teacher, I am currently available for weekend and certain holiday visits only. I use my free time to care for animals, which I truly enjoy. I only offer drop-in visits at the pet’s home, where they are most comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I follow all care instructions closely to maintain consistency and reduce stress for your pet. I respect your home and your pet’s space, and I always aim to create a calm, safe, and positive environment during each visit. I also make sure to secure doors, gates, and any areas you’ve noted for safety. Trust is very important to me, and I treat every pet and home with the same care I give my own.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies learning their manners to senior pets who need a little extra love and patience. I’m comfortable with training, daily routines, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. To me, pets are family, and I’ll treat yours with the same love and attention as my own. I’m home full-time with plenty of flexibility and reliable transportation, making it easy to provide dependable care whenever it’s needed. I genuinely enjoy helping both people and pets, and I love taking breaks for belly rubs, walks, and plenty of snuggles. I have a spacious fenced yard where pets can safely play and explore, along with a friendly dog companion for those who enjoy company (or quiet time if they prefer being on their own). I can also crate pets if needed. My priority is making sure every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while having a fun, positive experience.
About: I've grown up in an animal loving family with all kinds of creatures. Many people can vouch that I have a way with animals, pets that are usually shy have a good chance of warming up to me! I have cared for dogs and cats primarily. I also have a cat of my own, Sully! I am familiar with walking, training, and bathing both dogs and cats. I've also worked in a Kennel, but I'd love to make their time away from their owners a little more bearable with lots of love and attention at home! I am able to be somewhat flexible, message me and we can figure things out! I am likely to be working another job while petsitting, but I am willing to go the extra mile and find time to care for your pets. I will make sure that your pet is attended to, watching them and any signs to them or the environment that might indicate they are not doing so well. I'll let you know immediately so we can work out what to do. Also, I interact with many animals while Petsitting, so I take care to wash my hands between clients so prevent any spread of disease between animals.

“Danielle took excellent care of my boy Steven while I was away. And even though I had to ask for an extension of his stay she was accommodating and welcoming. And maintained excellent communication throughout the two weeks of boarding for him. I’ll definitely be booking with her more frequently. I know Steven enjoyed his stay and even made some friends along the way. 10/10 will return!”

“Our boy clearly had a great time with John and Joyce! We had to go out of town on very short notice and John was incredibly quick to respond and book Goose. They sent us pictures and kept us updated, I felt like Goose was very safe. Plus I know he has LOTS of playtime!”
