But the minute Lindsey and two of her children stepped out to greet us, I knew he’d be in great hands! Lindsey was so welcoming yet also calm and confident in the way she allowed Toby to greet them first. She then allowed Toby to explore their beautiful home while I provided instruction for his care. Then, out he went to their backyard, a beautiful and well maintained lush green paradise, the perfect place for dogs to run and play! But the best was yet to come. They, too, have a Corgi, George, and both George and Toby played well together. Each day I received great pics and videos along with a brief text about Toby’s day. If I had any questions, they responded immediately. Lindsey and John truly provided a home away from home for Toby that was unparalleled to anything I have experienced, and I can’t thank them enough! I am so glad to have found them and will definitely be calling them again next time we leave for a vacation!”

I have worked in shelters and boarding facilities before, so I have lots of experience helping with any dog of any age. I do normally need two weeks notice for jobs, but don’t be afraid to ask as things are always changing in this busy world. If you are comfortable with them being with each other I will monitor all interactions, but he does do doggy daycare at my work so he’s typically pretty tired after that. While in clients homes I will always ask them what they prefer for me to do. As the pets are the clients family and I want to make both the clients and pet as comfortable as possible anyways they do have a new person coming into their home.

I have a sweet, docile older pup of my own who lays around and gets along with everyone. Especially my two cats! She just loves making friends. However, depending on client’s preferences I also have the space in my home to comfortably separate their pets from any combination of mine depending on your/your pet’s comfort level. My home allows for walking opportunities at the Monte Sano Land Trust as well as Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve, and a fenced in dog yard to play in. My goal is to provide the most knowledgeable and experienced service possible for dog owners like myself who want to take great care of their pets! I work from home all of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I already keep track of my own pets and have the space to do so with much more. Safety is of the utmost concern to me for your pets. I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. My dog is a scavenger and she’s done a really great job of forcing me to dog-proof this place so there’s absolutely nothing to possibly get into. Like I mentioned in my bio, I do have the space available to prevent any interaction between a client’s dog and mine if they feel that would be a risk at all, or if I sensed at any point that it would be. They don’t get a kennel, they get a whole spare bedroom and the living room! And just take turns in the yard. About: An animal lover of all shapes and sizes, I’ve grown up around animals all my life. I have been professionally pet sitting for almost two years, and during this time have amassed many different breeds and knowledge of their behavior during this time! My birth family primarily owned cats, including a diabetic old grump and kittens, and I’m generally known as a “cat whisperer”! Later on, my grandparents and I adopted a toy poodle named Pierre, who eventually developed diabetes as a senior, which we had to medicate. After he passed away we adopted our standard poodle, Isabelle, who was my soul puppy. She unfortunately passed away in January of 23 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, so I’m accustomed to providing all sorts of medical care as well as extremely customized diets and medication schedules. And right now my family and I are raising another standard poodle- Nova! She’s 2, and the light of my life. I raised and trained Nova and Isabelle, so I’m used to the puppy stage also. I’ve also grew up around fishkeeping & small animals of all kinds, and as a high-schooler/adult I’ve been a reptile/amphibian keeper. Specifically, I’ve owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, axolotls, snakes, geckos, chameleons, hermit crabs, and a hedgehog. While I have not personally owned birds, I’m very knowledgeable in their care also! This is currently my job! I am in college and attend class Mondays and Wedsnesdays 11-2. Next spring semester has classes Monday&Wedsnesday from 11-2, and Tues/Thurs 11-12:30 Depending on the dog, we’ll spend the day relaxing or playing and at the end of the day we’ll be all tuckered out. Your pups safety and wellbeing is always my top priority! I will follow any instructions given and provide frequent updates & pictures. I am also well-versed in pair dynamics & anxious dogs!
About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. Friends, family and neighbors. My dad was an animal trainer in the circus when he was younger and had dogs, monkeys and lions.
