“Flash had a great day in Doggie Daycare with Emily and her family! They played with him and took him for a walk. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. You can tell they love dogs and it made me happy that Flash was comfortable with them. I recommend them as dog sitters and plan to book with them again!”
About: I have over three years experience of volunteering at a pet clinic, as well as owning everything from a Standard poodle to tea cup Chihuahua! After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience as a pet owner my whole life for cats and dogs (I have one Shih-tzu and one cat as of now!). About: I love dog. I’m a very out doors person. I play in college so with me I love taking them on walks the dog park. I’m currently a student-athlete playing volleyball at Birmingham, and I’m home all day after practice and have a flexible schedule. I’m very disciplined with my time, so I can reliably care for pets early mornings, evenings, or throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m doing this to help support my schooling, so I take it seriously. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have a spacious apartment and a pet washing station so I can always give your pet a bath and a pet-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease. I also have experience being around other dogs, so I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure everyone is supervised and comfortable.

Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Cassandra was amazing! She watched my high-energy GSP mix puppy at her house for 6 nights and Piper came home happy and tired! Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”

She was perfect for us and our pet babies and from the very beginning of the process she was great. She was quick to respond to my initial message and she was informative and accommodating. She welcomed our babies into her home and sent us pictures and texts to let us know they were doing well which was so nice. She even went above and beyond when my flight home was going to make me late for our pickup time and was so helpful and accommodating!
