I love all types of animals and have experience caring for not only just dogs and cats. Over the years I have owned reptiles, turtles, and currently own 2 rabbits as well as 2 cats and 1 dog! If you book with me I will treat your pet as though they were my own so you can rest easy knowing they are loved and taken care of! I only work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pet! I am not typically away from home for very long, so I will be able to regularly come to check on your pet. I have a large fenced in yard and a dog door that my two dogs go in and out of freely. I will walk or run with your dog daily. There is usually always someone in my house at home at all times, who all love to interact with dogs. I have one other dogs. She is typically nice with other dogs but can be very skittish, so they would need to be introduced prior to being watched. The safety and comfort of all of the dogs including my own are my priority, so it needs to be a good fit. My dog does love to play a lot so they usually enjoy having another furry friend to play with. My 2 cats and 2 rabbits also live in the home, but the layout of the house allows them to stay in the upstairs portion of the house and it is blocked off to allow them to be separated. They all get along, but I feel more comfortable to allow them to have their own spaces.

About: I've always been a dog lover ever since I got my first dog when I was younger. I like to nurture and run with dogs. I also like to play with dogs as well as (sometimes) wash them. A typical day for me with a dog would be for both of us to get familiar with each other first. Then once we get familiar, I would take the dog for a walk (if it's okay with owner) just to get some exercise in. Then come back and feed the dog. Then nurture him and relax for the rest of the day. Taking care of let's is something I love to do! I currently do this part time, but ensure I care and take care of the animals! By petting, greetings, going to their eye level, taking your time, ensuring dog and owner is comfortable. Also keep a smile on your face and be happy to see them!

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
“We have never had a bad booking on Rover BUT Chyra is the best, BAR NONE! She provides great instructions to set expectations. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND treating a hot spot that appeared, she gave me something to read explaining my dog's behavior AND she even went to the store for us to get some extra supplies we needed. If all of that doesn't say enough, i couldn't get Chadwick to leave with me... HOW EMBARRASSING! It goes without saying that we've found our forever sitter because the icing on the top is she's :10 minutes away from us!”
