About: I can't remember a time in my life I did not have my own pets. I have taken care of my own pets all of my life and am a lifelong animal caregiver. About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. About: Having grown up with animals most my life…I pride myself in the ability to comfort and love your furry friend… Even from a distance. My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well. I go to school, and work during the weekdays… But have a giant break in the middle of the day, for any pet care. Weekends work best for me. Making sure to adapt to whatever the pet owner, and pet need. Whether that means space, or extra attention… I can be that in-between person you request. I also pride myself on attention to detail… So will notice any change in behavior, or care necessary.

Having lost my oldest dog recently, being around other animals is fun and therapeutic for me as well. I am looking for work to supplement playing gigs on the weekend. Since I spend much time writing music at home, I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I have an easy going schedule being a teacher and musician. I have plenty of time to meet with your pet to attend to whatever needs they might have. I have plenty of space for pets to roam around my house. I also have a fenced in back yard where I like to spend time with my dog or friends dogs when the warmer weather is here.

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
