“My dog, Ryder, enjoyed his stay with Charlie and his dogs. Charlie was very accommodating. We set up a meet and greet for our dogs and they ended up playing for 2 hours! I was updated daily, however much I requested. I only had to provide food and anything else I specifically wanted to bring. Charlie had an extra kennel and plenty of toys. He did walks with Ryder and made sure he got all that lab energy out. We’re back home now and Ryder’s going to sleep for a few days. He’s worn out from his great weekend!! I also have extensive walking and volunteering experiences at a Humane Society. I’ve had large and medium dogs since I was little. I walked them almost every day and was responsible for medication giving, and treat and play. I would make sure if it was a check in and play that the client had a fenced yard if outside play was needed. If not I would play inside the clients home, such as tug of war and roller ball. When walking dogs, I will always let the dog approach me for the first time, especially if they feel threatened. Then when we both feel comfortable we will go in a walk for as long as the breed specifies needs.

About: I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land. I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s! I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. As a teenager I used to do volunteer work with dog shelters/cat sanctuaries, and I currently have 3 years experience as a kennel technician/vet assistant in a clinic setting. As a stay at home parent/wife, I have a flexible schedule to focus on providing care and attention for your fur babies. (Pets with indoor crate/pen training are a plus in case I have to leave the home during the day at any point to ensure your pets safety) I have recently decided to start working from home, so i am able to provide quality time and attention for your pet while they are in my care. (My weekends are mostly open, but during the summer months we spend a lot of time on the lake/river, so it’s also a plus if you have a dog that loves the water. My dachshund would love a boating buddy!) I have a large, shaded fenced in yard where your pets can freely run and play. When your pets are in my care, they are treated the same as my own. My couch is their couch, and if they want to burrow under the covers or at the foot of the bed, mine will just have to scoot on over and make some extra room, haha. Above I mentioned that crate trained pets are a plus for any time during their stay I have to leave the house. My dachshund is a known chewer/scavenger, so she stays in a large indoor pen if I have to leave the house and it has become a safe space for her.

I was only away from him for two nights his whole life, and that was bc he spent the night at the vets one night, and I spent the night at the hospital one night. He went everywhere with me. From restaurants to Walmart. If I went he went. I have no children, so he was my child. I will treat your baby with the same love, and care. I have a newly build house with an acre that is fenced in. So, if your dog is large and likes to run outside, it can. I also have a screened in back porch. You baby will be safe and loved in my home. I am retired and spend most of my time at home. So your dog will be supervised, as per hour request. I am flexible and will listen to the owners request, as much as possible. I have a fenced in acre of land. I also have a screen in back porch. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! They know if you are of good character, or not.
About: I grew up on a farm and have always had animals and especially dogs and cats. I am a retired nurse and have gone from caring for people to caring for pets. I will love and care for your babies while you are away. I am a retired nurse who has a lot of free time. I have friends who are pet/house sitters. I love animals and I have kept and cared for family and friends pets while owners were away. Never worry about your pets again when you need to be away. I have a golden retriever that has a super sweet disposition and he had been around other pets and plays well with others. I will only care for 1 pet at a time unless pets come from same family.

I was updated daily, however much I requested. I only had to provide food and anything else I specifically wanted to bring. Charlie had an extra kennel and plenty of toys. He did walks with Ryder and made sure he got all that lab energy out. We’re back home now and Ryder’s going to sleep for a few days. He’s worn out from his great weekend!! About: I have over 25+ years of owning, fostering, and caring for animals big and small. I focus on giving the dogs not only a safe environment, but an enriching one as well. I am a stay at home mom who has ample time to devote to your four legged family. Structure and routine is an important part of that care. “Callie was absolutely wonderful with Moose, especially knowing he was anxious and unsure at first (including myself being a first-time Rover user!) She immediately eased my anxiety of having to leave my pup, as I knew pretty quickly he was in GREAT hands. She was extremely patient, gentle, and understanding, and you could really see how much effort she put into making him feel safe and comfortable. She truly went above and beyond with detailed text updates throughout the day along with frequent pictures and videos of Moose having a great time and I am SO thankful for that. Callie is amazing at what she does and treats the dogs like family, giving him and the other pups all the love and attention they deserve.
