“Penny spent a week with Lindsey and her pack and she seemed to be very happy and content with her stay. Lindsey provided updates every morning and evening, letting me know that Penny had eaten her food and what she had done for the day. She also included pictures in which I could tell Penny was having fun. During her visit it was July 4 and Penny is extremely scared of fireworks. Lindsey made a safe space for Penny and checked on her consistently. I feel that Penny was in good hands with Lindsey and her family. I would not hesitate to leave Penny with Lindsay again!”

About: I watched my friends and families pet whenever they go out of town ever since I was 22, I love being around animals in general. Mostly available in the evenings 3pm until 11pm any day of the week. Sunday through Saturday you can count on me. About: I had a precious kitty, Badger Ann, for 17 years. She was a rescue from a job site and acted more like a dog than a cat. She passed in 2020 and I just can't replace her, but I miss spending time with kitties. I'm fine with changing/scooping litter, feeding, giving treats and offering love if that's what the pet wants.

About: I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land. I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s! I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. I frequently watch dogs that are not friendly with cats since I can keep everyone separated if need be.

Dogs that are already accustomed to walking on a leash are preferred for my dog walking services as I'm not a trainer and want to keep everyone safe on a walk.
About: I’ve always been around animals and grew up caring for multiple dogs. I currently have cats of my own and have experience caring for a variety of exotic animals as well. I have previously worked in animal husbandry, which has given me hands on experience with animal care, feeding, cleaning, monitoring and understanding different animals’ individual needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I am currently a Researcher at the University of South Alabama, but I have a a flexible schedule and plenty of free time on the weekends. About: I’ve grown up around pets for most of my life, my family always had at least one dog and multiple cats around, as well as exotic ones like birds. As such I was raised to love and care for pets, and currently my family has a dog and 4 cats, and I myself have a tarantula in my personal care. I’m a full time student taking 16 credit hours, but my classes have multiple hours between them, so I’m able to leave campus and visit clients homes to ensure everyone is doing ok and make sure they get the care and attention they deserve :) For all pets I keep them within my sight and paying attention to what they’re doing to make sure everything is going ok, while working on the homework for school that I’ve been assigned very close by. But I make sure that dogs would get exercise every day or more if desired, and that cats receive plenty of affection as well.
