“Outstanding, beyond my expectations; in dogs since 1991, this was one of my best experiences in having someone else care for my 3 fur kids. 1st time using Rover, since my regular sitter was not available: easy, wonderful communication, pictures provided of kids relaxing, great location -, gone 8 days, will be a repeat if Ann is available for my next trip. Please consider her and this service, both are a asset to the dog community.”

“Emile just returned from his overnight with Corey. He arrived happy, clean and brushed! We so appreciate the TLC he received from Corey and his family. He will definitely visit again!”

“Esmeralda was absolutely fantastic! She was very communicative and our dogs did not want to come home because they had so much fun! We will definitely be using her again in the future! 😊”

“Lauri was awesome! She sent lots of pics and was excellent with communication. We felt totally comfortable leaving Dobby. She had so much fun. We will definitely use her again!”

“Morgan helped us out on short notice with the care of our golden retriever. Drop off and pick up was truly a pleasure, Morgan has a wonderful personality! We look forward to booking her again.”

“Chauncey and Margeaux absolutely loved their stay. Natalie and her family are so kind. I had to reschedule because my trip was rained out and Natalie was very understanding. We will be booking again. We love Natalie!!!”

“My dog, Ryder, enjoyed his stay with Charlie and his dogs. Charlie was very accommodating. We set up a meet and greet for our dogs and they ended up playing for 2 hours! I was updated daily, however much I requested. I only had to provide food and anything else I specifically wanted to bring. Charlie had an extra kennel and plenty of toys. He did walks with Ryder and made sure he got all that lab energy out. We’re back home now and Ryder’s going to sleep for a few days. He’s worn out from his great weekend!! I’m looking forward to using Charlie and his family again.”

“Thankful once again that I found Callie for my pups! She took excellent care of them and have so many updates which made me feel so much better while traveling out of town. She’s simply the best!!”
“Ashley was great! Didn't get to meet Weston. Their dog, Pontoon, was great and friendly and my dog, Nikki loved him! Great house, lots of toys and great yard. Highly recommend them!”

“Jennifer is the BEST!! She loved our pup like her own for a long 9 day stay! We got updates multiple times a day and I think Harper was sad to leave her! We won’t be sending her to anyone else!”

“Allie and Chipper did a great job taking care of Gracie. We looked forward to the pictures she sent of Gracie playing with Chipper and getting belly rubs from Allie. We will definitely ask Allie to keep Gracie next time we need a sitter.”

“Miss Brenda is wonderful! Bear enjoyed his time with her. She was so sweet and gave him the rubber chicken toy that he liked. We will definitely book with Miss Brenda in the future! She sent us video/picture updates. We loved to see that he was having fun!”

“Loved coordinating with Anna to care for my dog as I went out of town. My doggy sitter cancelled on me last minute and Anna was very accommodating with my urgent request. She made sure to communicate any concerns with me in a timely manner. Would book with her again :-)”

“Piper is such an ideal caretaker! She was so excellent in making my dog feel at home, safe, and loved for. She was so communicative, sent great photos, and is incredibly kind! Piper is the best; I plan on booking services with her again!”

“Cheryl did a great job with our dog Kenna. She was very attentive to her needs and was great about sending pictures and videos every day despite caring for a couple of other dogs as well.”

“Virginia took excellent care of my cat for a long weekend! She even took out the trash for us when I realized we forgot to before our trip. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“This is my second time booking with Michael. He honestly is the best/most awesome sitter ever. He always takes the upmost care of my boys. And hangs out with them longer/loves on them. He made sure to alert me to my middle baby hiding in the cabinet some so I could take him to the vet and make sure everything was okay. I can't say enough positive honestly!”

“Sandy took really good care of my cats and did additional things that like cleaning up cat throw up and vacuuming. Her communication with me about what was going on with my cats was outstanding and sent me many pictures so I could see them.”

“This is the second time Ann has checked in on Sweets, and she continues to be dependable and communicative! Will definitely book with her in the future!”

“I have been using Amelia‘s pet sitting services for over a year now for my two cats. They greet her at the door. I don’t have any worries about them when I am away. I know they like her and she takes very good care of them. I’ve left multiple reviews and I just can’t say enough good things about Amelia Thank you for always taking good care of my babies.”

About: Growing up we were a pet family - included cats, dogs, rats (I know), hamsters, fish, and reptiles. As an adult I have been responsible for caring for the pets of my friends and family. Including "high maintenance dogs, e.g requiring medication 3 times a day, needing an ointment on their skin etc. I have looked after dogs and cats ranging from a few months to end of life care, including those visually impaired. I currently have no pets of my own so am looking forward to devoting my care to your pet. My full-time job is flexible in terms of hours and I can work from home if your pet needs extra attention. This allows for the flexibility for scheduling walks or boarding. I am available most days for all activities depending on the day. I have a pet friendly home in a beautiful area of Midtown so if walks are needed it the best environment. Other pets would need their homes if they require (crate, terrarium etc). I live in a clean, calm, environment that all pets can enjoy.
“Jordan was an amazing cat sitter and first time experience using Rover! She even came over last minute and checked on one of our babies when we saw him messing with something he shouldn’t be on the cat cam. We have two special needs cats and three cats total and she did a great job spending time with each. Highly recommended.”

“Thank you for taking care of Penny during our time away! We appreciate you and all the pics you included in her report card! Although we missed her, it was wonderful knowing she was in good hands. And thanks for bringing in the package for safekeeping while we were away.”

About: I had a Cocker-Spaniel for 12 years with my wife and just recently got my first puppy last year. Now I am addicted, we have since adopted one and fostered many. My sister is a drug rep for veterinary clinics and I do computer work for a few of them. I have lots of contacts in the field if ever there was an emergency. I work from home most of the time, and usually here all day and night, other than for store runs, or occasional working in office. I have an unfenced yard but live in a great area for walking dogs on leash, there is a park across the street we can run in and play fetch. I have 2 dogs, Charley and Winnie, Charley is a big puppy that loves all other dogs, he is 75 pounds of play, Winnie is more of the mother dog but only weighs 17 pounds, she puts Charley in his place though. They are up to dates on shots and preventative medicines and both are fixed.
“Chloe did a fantastic job checking in on my two kitties, Frank and Ozzie. She sent a detailed report of her visit and numerous pictures. The boys seemed to like her a lot! They even got brushed.”

About: I'm here to lend a helping hand in caring for your furbabies. Mine are my world! I don't know that I've ever been without pets. I'm that person that stops traffic to help a turtle cross the road. I've saved many strays. We've fostered multiple sets of pups from the local shelters & I have experience with bottle feed babies, both pups & kittens. I have & have had many pets throughout my life & that's where my experience comes from. Dogs of all sizes, young & old. I can give medications if needed. I would love to help you out when you need someone to step in & care for them for a bit. I will treat them as I would my own. I work a full time job M - F, 8:00 - 4:00, but my job is Hybrid, so I work from home 3 days a week. So aside from meetings, I can fit in drop-in visits most anytime. I can also, stop by prior to & after work as well. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have multiple pups & even more cats. I have a fenced in backyard that our babies thoroughly enjoy being able to roam & explore daily. During my visits, I will care for your baby however you've instructed because I know it's beneficial for them to stay on their own schedule. A couple of mine have high anxiety so I fully understand the benefits of staying home & keeping schedules as much as possible. If they don't have a fence & need walks, I will welcome the additional steps.

Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of canine behavior, training, and communication — especially with working, sporting, and gun dog breeds. Whether it’s playtime, structure, or comfort, I tailor each dog’s experience to their unique personality and needs. I currently operate Delta Dog Co. and work as a delivery driver on the side, so I have a flexible schedule built around pet care. I’m available for boarding, daycare, walks, drop-ins, and training throughout the week. Dogs in my care are never left unattended for more than 2-4 hours. Dogs in my care are always supervised during playtime and outdoor activities, and they’re never left unattended for long periods. I’m trained in canine CPR and skilled at reading body language, managing group dynamics, and preventing stress or conflict before it happens. Whether your dog is here for boarding, daycare, or training, they’ll enjoy a safe, structured, and loving environment that feels like a second home.

“Lauri is wonderful. Not only did she take amazing care of my dog but her transport option was extremely helpful. I felt completely safe leaving my pup in her care and know that he had a good time and was comfortable. Thank you Lauri!”

“Ann has it going on!! She is very sweet and so is her family. They take care of my pup as if he were their own. Moose loves his visits and gets plenty of attention. Ann is great about potty breaks, feeding, etc. Very thankful for the service she provides!”

About: I’m an animal lover who’s happiest when I’m outside walking, running, or biking and I love having a furry buddy join me for the adventure. I grew up with four dogs, so barking, potty breaks, and a little (okay, a lot of) dog hair are just part of life for me. From a young age, I learned how to keep pups happy, safe, and entertained, and that’s stuck with me ever since. Your dog’s needs always come first with me whether that’s playtime, snuggles, or just a nice chill nap in the sun. I’ve got a soft spot for every kind of dog, even the grumpy ones, and I’ll never say no to a good cuddle session. At home, I have three super sweet Ragdoll cats who love dogs (seriously - they’re like dogs in cat form). I’ve also got a big fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for running around. Since I work from home, your pup will have company all day and can hang out inside or outside whenever they want. Lots of playtime, lots of love, and lots of tail wags. That’s what I’m all about. I work from home, so I’m around all day which means your pup gets plenty of attention, playtime, and outdoor breaks! Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, I’ve got a pretty flexible schedule and can easily fit in long walks, snuggle breaks, or just some good company while I work. Your dog’s safety always comes first. I’ll never make a decision about your pet without checking in with you first, and I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, or whatever helps you feel at ease. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want you to feel totally comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.
“Charles is an amazing person. He gave me a lot of updates and pictures. You can tell that he is truly knowledgeable about pets. I will definitely book him again.”

“This was a last-minute booking because I thought I had somebody lined up previously but that didn't pan out. Such an awesome job, I really really do appreciate it because it was very important that they had somebody to watch them. Thank you so much and I will be using you again!”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, snakes, lizards and other small animals. I can administer medicine to friendly animals, and cleanliness, kindness and communication are my priorities. I am currently a full-time online graduate student and am therefore usually very flexible. My daily routine involves taking my child to and from school and sports. For in-home boarding, I have a fenced yard and a separate indoor/outdoor space for my own kitties to remain separate from your pet. Small dogs can enjoy hanging with me and/or playing outside during the day. I'm always up for lap cuddles! I prefer to crate the dog during night-time hours, from about 10pm until 6:30am.
About: We are a recently retired couple with 50 years combined experience raising children with a variety of pets. Now we have a loving, playful rescue dog that gets our full time attention. We are home all the time. We also engage and play with our pets all the time. We have plenty of toys to keep them amused too. Our large back yard is fully fenced and safe and clean at all times. We constantly clean up debris. We monitor playtime and meals to make sure they are safe at all times.
“Jen was fantastic with Olive! He loved playing with her dogs and swimming. He was absolutely exhausted that evening and the next day from all the fun (which is no small feat for a working cocker!). Jen was super responsive and gave great updates throughout the day! We will definitely be sending Olive to stay/play with Jen again!”

“I highly recommend Michael to anyone that wants someone that will spend quality time with your pup(s) while you are away. This was my first time to use Rover for Marly & Charmin, and I’m so glad I found Michael!! I signed up hoping to find someone that would show them lots of attention when I’m out of town. I am that dog mom that has as much separation anxiety, as my dogs usually do when I leave them. When I left them at Michael’s, I knew they had already made a new friend. Michael sent me several pics through the stay and it was obvious that both pups had already made themselves right at home. This was the first time in 10 years, I felt completely comfortable that they were ok while I was away. When I arrived to pick them up, they were not anxious to leave and kept going back to Michael to be petted. Michael will be my go-to person from now on for doggy day care or boarding when I’m away from home.”

Pets in my care are treated like family and will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles while staying in a safe, welcoming environment.

I am a college student home for the summer and I am working a part time job 20 hours per week at Lake Forest Racquet Club. Therefore, I have a very flexible schedule as I usually only work from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. four days a week. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, structure, and stimulation. In a client’s home, I strictly follow all instructions and respect their space while maintaining a calm and clean environment for the pet. In my own home, I ensure pets receive plenty of attention, mental stimulation, and physical activity through regular walks and playtime. I truly strive to create a comfortable setting where pets feel secure and cared for at all times!

About: Every pup needs a Step-Ma. Someone he/she can call when no one is around. Accompanied with 50 years of motherly, animal-loving experiences - meet a near retired, empty-nester looking for a way to fulfill a nurturing need now that all the children and animals have moved into their own home. Special skills include an ability to go on brisk walks around the neighborhood with your pup, add-on a talent of novice dog-training skills acquired from being raised by a dog whisperer mom, and fun time with tennis balls and frisbees. I currently work part-time throughout the week, but make my own schedule a week in advance. I am available most days from the early mornings til 11 AM. I have a 2-story home, if your pup is like my son's boxer, Riley - she enjoys running up and down the stairs to play tag. There's soft furniture available for cozying up when spending the night, and a fireplace for the wintertime to snuggle up to after a brisk run in the cold night air. There's other fun stuff, too, like tennis balls, stuffed animals, bubbles, and water sprinklers. And, of course, treats.

I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for at all times. I am available weekdays after 2:40 PM and have flexible availability on weekends. I make it a priority to give pets the time, attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. Please note that I am currently unavailable on holidays. I always prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care. I create a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, routines, medications, walks, and playtime to ensure pets remain comfortable and cared for. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same level of attention I would give my own animals.
About: I am a mother to two toddlers and 1 Dalmatian . I am a clinical social worker and enjoy training. We have a fun and active lifestyle! I spend lots of time in the yard with my children and Dalmatian. There is lots of space, water to play in, toys, and love from the kids. I am mostly available on weekends but have plenty of time in the afternoons during the week. I have a fenced yard with lots of open space, kiddie pools to splash in, and a friendly Dalmatian to keep your dog company. My dog is crate trained and there is space in the home in case your dog prefers their own quiet time and space. I treat my dog like a family member and this will apply to yours as well!
About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, neighbor’s, and friend’s pets since high school. I have experience with small and large dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs. I love animals so much, and have so much love to give as we don’t have a dog of our own right now. I am an active, stay at home mom to two young kids. They are both in school at the same time for two days a week, so I have that time completely free. I am also available some weekends. I am happy to travel to your home to take care of your animals, take them on walks, and give them plenty of love and attention and play time.
About: I have pet sit for family and friends. I been around and taken care of animals my whole life. I have helped rehome a few animals in my lifetime. I have a full time job but I’m trying to make this my main job so I can be available to the animals as they need me. To be available to walk and play with. I can take care of animals in their own homes. Im not able to do so at my home. Im also not available for overnight stays right now. Available for drop ins and walks. I can take them to their vet appointments and grooming appointments if needed.
“Maitland is very accommodating. She has helped me work around my new work schedule for Rosa. She met Rosa and myself for an introduction for all of us. Rosa really enjoys the time when Maitland comes to hang out with her. I would recommend to friends and family that have needs to be met.”

About: I’ve had 2 dogs my entire life (Jack Russell and Toy Poodle) and many of my family members have animals of all sizes! I’d love to spend time with your furry friend when you need it!! I have open availability so whenever you need me! I also have 2 small dogs if you’d like your pup to have some friends to hang out with! I take great care in making sure your pet is safe and happy. Lists of things they like/dislike are helpful (for example my cat gets upset when he is held, but likes belly scratches)
About: I have experience in a wide variety of animal care including cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, and sugar gliders) horses and goats. I am skilled in dispensing oral medications as well as subcutaneous fluids and medications. I also have experience volunteering in animal rescue and animal education groups. I currently work full time at a law firm downtown. If you are located in the Midtown or Downtown areas, I am able to provide services early morning, midday and evening Monday thru Friday. I can service other locations morning and afternoon Monday thru Friday. Weekends I can provide services anytime. I do not provide care in my home as I have my own pets who sometimes do not play well with strangers. I can provide inhome care at the client's home. I can stay overnite or not depending on your pet's needs. I try to stay as close to the pets normal schedule as possible for feeding, walking, and playtime to avoid putting more stress on them while you are away.

“Lauri was awesome! She sent lots of pics and was excellent with communication. We felt totally comfortable leaving Dobby. She had so much fun. We will definitely use her again!”

“Very good experience, I was able to drop off and pick up with no problems. They had plenty of space and were genuinely caring people. I picked Layla up one day and took her for a day trip and brought her back, then picked her up two days later. Everything went well, I would definitely recommend this provider, there is always someone there and they let the dogs out, but keep them inside so they are not overheated. My dog is very clingy to me, but she went happily to the fence and didn’t cry for me when I left.”

“Miss Brenda is wonderful! Bear enjoyed his time with her. She was so sweet and gave him the rubber chicken toy that he liked. We will definitely book with Miss Brenda in the future! She sent us video/picture updates. We loved to see that he was having fun!”

“Courtney was wonderful. She provided pics and updates. My pup was having an awesome time. Responded very quickly when I had questions. I would definitely recommend her and will most definitely use her again!!”

“Piper is such an ideal caretaker! She was so excellent in making my dog feel at home, safe, and loved for. She was so communicative, sent great photos, and is incredibly kind! Piper is the best; I plan on booking services with her again!”

“Graham is wonderful and Phoenix seems to have enjoyed himself immensely...in spite of the unexpected snow. Ha ha!! I really appreciate the pics Graham sent, his communication and flexibility. I will definitely book again!”

About: I have grown up raising dogs so I have a deep affection for animals. I have a large family and have spent my life helping them watch their animals when they are out of town, sick, etc. I’ve raised animals from helping the mother give birth all the way to helping some cross the rainbow bridge and all the steps in between. I can train young puppies and work with senior animals. I am a stay at home mom with a 5 year old daughter. She attends public school so I have ample time to care for your pets even during the school year. I can sit with your animal all day if necessary, and can do overnight stays in your home. While I’m there I can exercise your animal, clean up after them, and make sure they are fed and happy. I can also board animals from a single family at my own home. I have a townhouse with ample space for a crate in a private climate controlled garage. I can walk your dog in my gated neighborhood as many times as needed throughout the day. They will also be allowed on the furniture and in the bed during their stay.
