Most of our cats are shy with new people and spent a lot of time hiding at first, but she was patient and gentle with them, and after a few days several of them began warming up to her. She also spent extra time with them whenever she could, which we really appreciated. She kept us well informed during every visit and was very responsive when a couple unexpected concerns came up while we were away, including checking on the house during a power outage and helping with an issue involving our lamp timers. We sincerely appreciated her willingness to work with a multi-cat household, and she handled it in spades. About: We are a recently retired couple with 50 years combined experience raising children with a variety of pets. Now we have a loving, playful rescue dog that gets our full time attention. We are home all the time. We also engage and play with our pets all the time. We have plenty of toys to keep them amused too. Our large back yard is fully fenced and safe and clean at all times. If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! “I don’t think I could have chosen anyone better to watch my puppy than Michael! From start to finish he was so kind, communicative, and very clearly has a huge passion for dogs. Throughout the whole stay he sent regular updates with photos/videos and thoughtful messages, and I was so relieved knowing she was being cared for as if she was his own. Maggie had an absolute blast running around in his spacious yard and playing with his amazing and formidable Lily Lou! Michael was so patient with all of Maggie’s silly habits and bad puppy manners, he was also incredibly flexible with his schedule and when our plans changed. Overall he made the whole experience totally stress free. I’m so thankful that I found him, he’s truly the best and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with him again! 10/10 recommend. He is still a puppy at 6mo old, so there were some potty issues and anxiety being in a new place but everyone handled it well.”
