Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I love playing with them and learning their personalities. I have plenty of room for playing outside and a wonderful area inside to be cool/warm with the seasons. I do not mind picking your pet up for boarding if needed and bringing him/her back. I have plenty of time for checking in on your pet as well. I offer In-home pet sitting, Overnight stays, Daily visits (up to 1 hour), Feeding and medication administration, stimulating play, whatever helps your fur baby. I work 6-4:30 Monday through Friday and get a lunch break every day, a reliable car for transportation if needed. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. I’ll follow each pet’s feeding, medication, and exercise routine exactly. As for house sitting I want to be as respectful as possible when staying in another persons home so I will always keep the house tidy, secure, and running smoothly while you’re away. About: My first memory of a dog was interacting with the black labs my grandparents owned growing up. My passion for animals was cultivated early on—my family taught me how to properly care for, train and love our pets, from German Shepherds to Cocker Spaniels to mixed breeds and everything in between. Young pups and elderly seniors—I have seen it all when it comes to pets! As an adult, I worked in a vet clinic and can truly say I loved every animal that came through our door. I am very familiar with crate training, behavioral issues and proper care techniques. As for the dogs, I let them sniff and warm up to me in their own time. I’m a compassionate, patient and calm person, and my personality warms up even the most nervous of pups! For the anxious dogs—when in my home, it usually takes about 1-2 hours after their parent leaves for the first time before the they relax fully. During that time, I provide extra attention and care so they know I’m a person they can trust. I’m also extremely active and dedicate a great portion of our time together playing games and going on walks. They won’t even have time to get bored or anxious when you’re away because I fill our time with all the things they love to do! About: My sister and I fostered all types of dogs and cats through the Greater Birmingham Humane Society since 2020. Since I have moved to Calera, I now assist locally with CHILTON County TNR. As of now, I take care of a dog and cat, which were both rescues. Im currently working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and do remote work Tuesdays and Fridays! I also have availability for weekends, just ask me about specific times! I have a big fenced in backyard with some big trees that allow some good shade. There is also a back porch with an awesome fan because we all get hot in this Alabama heat. I have 2 friendly dogs that can help your dog get some energy out or they can be separated by crates which I can provide, depending on your preference.

About: I’ve been around animals since I can remember. I have such a passion for taking care of them. I worked in a Veterinarian Hospital for a year and enjoyed every second of it. My goal is to get back into school to finish my vet tech license. Animals are truly my passion and I’d love to take care of your fur babies! I work with reptiles as well.
