Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). His home is gorgeous with a really amazing backyard she can run around in. He sent me plenty of pictures and videos so I could see how she was doing. He really went above and beyond. He took her to the pet store and got her a new toy, took her to the dog park multiple times, even gave her a bath and got a special dog shampoo for her. I’ve used this app a lot and never had anyone do as much for my dog as he did. I couldn’t believe he’d been on the app so long and my dog was the first one he’d watched. I love playing with them and learning their personalities. I have plenty of room for playing outside and a wonderful area inside to be cool/warm with the seasons. I do not mind picking your pet up for boarding if needed and bringing him/her back. I have plenty of time for checking in on your pet as well. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. About: My first memory of a dog was interacting with the black labs my grandparents owned growing up. My passion for animals was cultivated early on—my family taught me how to properly care for, train and love our pets, from German Shepherds to Cocker Spaniels to mixed breeds and everything in between. Young pups and elderly seniors—I have seen it all when it comes to pets! As an adult, I worked in a vet clinic and can truly say I loved every animal that came through our door. I am very familiar with crate training, behavioral issues and proper care techniques. As for the dogs, I let them sniff and warm up to me in their own time. I’m a compassionate, patient and calm person, and my personality warms up even the most nervous of pups! For the anxious dogs—when in my home, it usually takes about 1-2 hours after their parent leaves for the first time before the they relax fully. During that time, I provide extra attention and care so they know I’m a person they can trust. I’m also extremely active and dedicate a great portion of our time together playing games and going on walks. They won’t even have time to get bored or anxious when you’re away because I fill our time with all the things they love to do! I’m not currently working so I have all the time in the world to be home to care for your pet! So I have no problem with this! I would treat any animal like my own. Any instructions you have will be followed exactly as written. Leash will always be used unless you have a back yard, safety of your pets are most important!! I am available most every day, 8 AM to 2 PM. I am active and willing to make sure your pet is as well. Anything I can do to help! I can’t offer services for in home sitting for now as I can’t have pets in my home at this moment but I look forward to it in the future!!! 😁

About: My sister and I fostered all types of dogs and cats through the Greater Birmingham Humane Society since 2020. Since I have moved to Calera, I now assist locally with CHILTON County TNR. As of now, I take care of a dog and cat, which were both rescues. Im currently working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and do remote work Tuesdays and Fridays! I also have availability for weekends, just ask me about specific times! I have a big fenced in backyard with some big trees that allow some good shade. There is also a back porch with an awesome fan because we all get hot in this Alabama heat. I have 2 friendly dogs that can help your dog get some energy out or they can be separated by crates which I can provide, depending on your preference.
