“This was the first time we used Rover, and we had a great experience with Sally. She did drop-in visits with our cat, Pearlie, while we were out of town. Sally sent daily updates and pictures which was very reassuring. Pearlie had been boarded once a few years ago with a very reputable boarding facility. I don't think anything wrong happened there, but just the experience itself took her a few week to recover from. Knowing she could stay at home with Sally's drop-in visits and care seems to have worked really well for Pearlie, and thus worked really well for us. Sally even brought in a couple of packages that arrived the day we left town. :) We would highly recommend her and happily use her services again.”

The house was in very good shape when she left; she "left no footprints" as she promised. Even more important to us, she obviously too good, loving care of our cats. She frequently sent us pictures of our babies, one recurring one was with our "old man" sitting contentedly on her lap. He doesn't do that for just anyone, so that said a lot of positive things about Joyce. All in all, she did all we could have asked for. About: My husband and I have both grown up with many different dog breeds. We’ve recently adopted two puppies, and went through the process of training them to where they are now. From potty training from 8 weeks, to leash and recall training we’ve learned the patience and methods to correctly instill these habits into our pets. We’ve helped both friend and families by taking care of their pets when they are away for travel, handling dogs ranging from miniature chihuahuas to Great Danes, and every age group including senior dogs. We’ll make sure your pet gets the best care, wether that be from previous experiences we’ve had or by learning something new so your dog is always happy! We work but have a flexible schedule, we work our schedules around our dogs. Waking up early to allow them to burn energy. We’re both home for lunch to allow our dogs to have a potty break and play, then by 3pm our dogs get the rest of the day to eat and play as they please. Our dogs eat at 6:30am, play till 7:30am, potty break from 11am-1pm, at 3pm dogs are let out to play and dinner at 5pm, bed time is 8pm

I regard a dog’s care and routine with the utmost respect. I see the value in both physical and mental stimulation for your dog. Two of my own dogs have disabilities, one who is deaf and has seizures and one who had a leg amputated due to cancer (but he’s in remission and he’s loving life as a tripod!). So I am very familiar and comfortable with administering medication, following a specific care routine, and most importantly, giving all the belly rubs and kisses needed! I want your dog to feel secure with me and want me around, so I’m happy to do a meet and greet to get our journey together started! I work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends. I am usually available even with little notice. I am happy to provide whatever help you need that is best for your dog. Walks, playing, snuggles, and anything else needed! I take safety very seriously! I do not allow on leash greetings (unless you let me know who your pup’s neighborhood friends are and then I’m happy to let them say hi). I carry pet corrector in case an off leash dog approaches. I am very observant to dog behaviors and body language and I will quickly become in tune with your dog. I know how stressful it can be trusting someone with your dog so I’m happy to provide as many updates and photos as you like. I have a 2 acre fenced in yard (8’ high fence) that is secure and safe. “Fantastic dog walker who’s very comfortable around working dog breeds (hard to find!). Extremely reliable, excellent communication, punctual and honest! I love that she’s active in the AKC training clubs so she’s not only comfortable with solid obedience training but agility as well. This is key for our family to have a sitter who has more advanced experience than the typical rover dog walker. It adds a lot more peace of mind for consistent training and behavior expected with my dobie, even under the care of someone else when I am away. My Doberman is very comfortable which says a lot as she doesn’t connect with everyone so I am thrilled they click so well and she gets the wiggles when she sees her but also listens to her commands and has respect for Almu. I appreciate the tender care Almu has taken and no detail overlooked. I am a high maintence dog owner and Almu went well above and beyond! I’m going to be using her dog walking services long term. She even took care to take my dobie hiking in the rain so not a single potty break or exercise routine was missed. Very grateful!”

I’m retired from the Air Force and a stay ant home mom and have lots of time to care for pets . About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size, shape, and breed since I was roughly 8. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! My weekends are considerably more free but I can provide morning or afternoon/evening drop ins! I have a large yard that is completely fenced! I crate my own pets when I am not home so I am happy to stop in and let your crated pets out for potty breaks! I adhere to feeding/bathroom/medication schedules to a T.
