Being older now, I still have the same love of taking care of animals whether it is my own dog and cat or other people’s! About: I’ve always loved animals and originally wanted to become a veterinarian growing up. Now, as a pre-nursing student at AU, I still love having the opportunity to care for others — especially animals. I grew up with a childhood dog that I was completely inseparable from. Even when I was little, I helped feed her, walk her, play with her, and even helped with training. Those experiences are a huge part of why I love pet care so much today. My family now has two dogs that we got while I was in high school, and I love visiting them every chance I get. I’m definitely the type of person who immediately gravitates toward the dog at any social gathering. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors since I was around 10 years old, and even more frequently once I started driving at 16. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means going on runs with high-energy dogs or taking slower walks and giving extra comfort and attention to more relaxed pets. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and so loved while their owners are away. I also worked on a ranch last summer where I cared for dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, and ducks, which gave me even more hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve done plenty of cat sitting over the years and absolutely love them as well. I know every cat is different, and I’m always patient and attentive to their routines and comfort level. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work a 9–5 job during the week, but I have an hour lunch break that gives me flexibility for walks, check-ins, or midday care. I also usually go on a run in the mornings and take walks after work or after dinner, so I’m very used to staying active and would love bringing a dog along if they enjoy extra exercise. On weekends, I’m available all day and have a much more flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care. I live in a two-level apartment/townhouse with plenty of space for pets to be comfortable and move around. There’s grass right outside for easy bathroom breaks and walks, plus a balcony and a dog park within my apartment complex for extra exercise and playtime. I keep a clean, safe, and calm environment and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine. I know consistency is important for animals, so I always try to keep them comfortable by following feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely.

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I’ve grown up with them, and now have 3 of my own! Size does not scare me at all, so I would love to watch your fur-baby! I have a very flexible and open schedule. My schedule changes weekly, but it is always open and flexible! I am never gone for more than 6 hours! I have a fenced in yard, and crating a dog is no problem! They are constantly being watched for their safety! I really just try to match the routine the dog has now, so when they meet someone new, they will still have a constant routine!
About: I’ve had a dog my whole life, to me a home isn’t a home without one! As of right now I have three dogs, one that lives with me full time. I rescued him from a shelter and I love training him and watching him grow up. I would be a great help with training or just simply giving love and attention to your sweet pup ! I work part time at an Auburn country club with the flexibility of being able to leave in the middle of the day when needed. I am near tons of dog parks, I take my dog, Bear, everyday that it’s not raining, and he gets along great with every pet including cats. About: I am a graduate of UAB and am currently attending Auburn University as part of UAB’s Rural Medicine Program. I will start medical school at UAB next fall. I’ve been around dogs for 18 years, including having five dogs of my own which vary in breed and size. My dog, Jax, has been my best friend throughout college and goes everywhere with me! About: I have had dogs all my life and hamsters for 5 years, now I have a cat. I have worked at Countryside Veterinary Clinic for 5 1/2 years and love all creatures. I am in school to be a licensed veterinary technician. I have trained a few puppies that have been dumped at the clinic and administer medication effectively whether pill or injection. I am a full time student and work full time at Countryside Veterinary Clinic. I have school online and work mostly morning so am available any afternoon but I am willing to come by before work as well. I live in an apartment downtown that is dog friendly. About: I am currently a pre-med student in school and have great experience taking care of pets after spending a semester as a veterinary intern and taking mammalian anatomy in school. I currently live with three dog loving roommates while I attend Auburn University. About: I have been watching dogs for most of my life. i’ve watched many breeds for weeks at a time for friends and enjoyed every second. I grew up raising dachshunds as a young kid and i enjoy having a companion to care for and play with! I am stationed in Fort Benning, GA and i work Monday-Friday from 8AM-4PM. i am gone most of the day but i have a consistent work schedule. On occasion, i will travel out of town, but i will make sure my availability shows the days i am not at home. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run and play. There aren’t any dogs around me to pester or threaten any dog that’s near my house. i am able to crate anytime i need as well. i live in a very quiet neighborhood (on a dead end road) so i rarely see cars drive by. i walk and run on my road everyday by myself and am more than willing to walk dogs with me as well.
