About: Hello! My name is Anna Kate. I am a current student at Auburn University studying veterinary pharmacy and I work at Auburn’s veterinary hospital. I attended high school at Hewitt-Trussville High School and graduated with an Honors diploma, and then went on to graduated from Auburn with an undergrad in Biomedical Sciences! Throughout my life, I have loved spending time with animals, and I have a standard poodle named Sully, and a rescue pup named Winnie! My love for all animals has led me to helping others care for their pets! I have plenty of experience with a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, geckos, guinea pigs, frogs, and etc! I have also taken care of all life stages of animals from just a few days old to all the way to senior aged! For the last 3 years I have been an Emergency and critical Care Veterinary assistant overnight in a veterinary emergency hospital. I am directly responsible for patient care of critically sick or injured or post-op pets. I am very comfortable caring for chronic conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, etc and will seek care if needed. I am comfortable with cats, dogs and a variety of other pets such as reptiles or birds, I have had them all as patients in the CCW. If your pets are under my care they are treated the same as my pets, whether I am dropping in for visits or they are staying at my house! I currently am in school during the week, I am able to go home for lunch if needed so most pets would not be left alone for longer than 4-5 hours, if not less. Weeknights and weekends I am generally home or in the area so they would not be left alone long on those days either In my home, I have a separate room for pets to stay so that they can be separated from my other pets if needed . I have a fenced in yard and my neighborhood is entirely walkable. If I am doing drop in visits, I will ensure your pets are happy and safe on each visit and give them some attention (if they want it ! )

I also make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care. I have four dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, safety, and treating every animal like family. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and exploring new trails and outdoor spaces to keep them active and engaged. About: I’m a life long animal lover and have had the opportunity to care for my friends, family, and neighbor’s pets for years whether it was daily check-ins or caring for them while owners were away. About: I recently graduated from Auburn with a degree in Animal Sciences: Pre-Vet. I’ve grown up with dogs, horses, and cats since I was 5. I’ve also had rodents and friends with reptiles that I have taken care of. I’m patient, friendly, and can work on training basic commands. I’m fine with administering oral medication or shots. Since I do have my own pets, I can't house-sit, but if you'd like me to check on your residence while you're gone I'd be happy to! I currently work full-time, but I come home during lunch to let my dogs out and visit with them. The longest they're left at home is about 4-5 hours. I love taking them everywhere with me as long as its not too hot, cold, or bad weather. I have a fenced in backyard to play in and I live close to Kiesel Park if your dog needs some extra room to run and play. I crate my dogs when I leave and would either crate your dog(s) or close them in a room while I'm gone. My pets get fed 2x a day, have a bin full of toys, and a full water bowl at all times. I let my dogs sleep on my bed with me and I let them on the couch, but if you don't want your dog to learn that behavior then I won't let them.

About: I’ve had a variety of animals growing up. There was never a time in my household where i did not have a pet. I am great with animals, they seem to love me as much as I do them! I attend Auburn university. I usually have 1-3 classes a day, but I am done by 12pm. I am available between 12-6! What better way to spend my free time! I have a strong love for animals.
