Although my current orange child threatens to revoke that privilege at least once a week for using her room as my office. Life can be busy & demanding at times, & I understand the importance of finding the right one who will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ Being raised in the country with several furbabies, of various sizes with my grandma who was also an absolute furbaby-lover! So it just comes natural to me. Bc to me, they are our babies, our children & I have 30+ years experience of caring for them. Like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup for them- I just do the feeding, loving, treating, playing, replenish supplies & cleaning!🐶🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! I have a whole playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. I do understand how important the care for your baby is! Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. They love to play, & get along great with other furbabies! About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!
About: I have always loved being around and taking care of animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and am responsible for feeding, grooming, and playing with them. Both of my babies come with their own special needs (one is deaf and the other has seizures) so I am well equipped to deal with any disabilities that may require special attention. My mom‘s cat lady gene was very strong, because I have six very special cats myself: Ruby (an orange tabby with three legs), Freya (a long-haired dilute torbie), Luna (a silly calico), Phoebe (a tortie with white socks), Callisto (a gray teddybear who came to us as a yard stray) and Poe (void cat who was born in our house). About: My animal and pet sitting experience is very extensive from having at most 4 dogs in my house growing up and farm sitting, cat/dog/lizard/fish sitting since I was 13. I love all animals and their health, safety, and happiness is my number one priority. Currently I’m a student in Alabama, originally I’m from South Carolina and have done pet sitting there for awhile. Although I do have class Monday-Friday I am available in the afternoons as my classes are all in the morning for the most part. I am also almost always available on the weekends! Personally, I have a female English Pointer mix who is very friendly with other dogs and people… she is easy going to say the least. Depending on your pups and the environment River could possibly be a good playmate if your fur babies are lonely. Safety is number one so I wouldn’t ever do anything without owners permission.
