About: Hello, excited to start this new adventure. I’ve been watching dogs for over a year, and was later introduced to the Rover app. I have one dog of my own adopted from the Montgomery humane shelter. Recently just graduated, so I’m currently studying for my boards to be a registered occupational therapist. I would like to be able to stay home more so I can study, and spend more time with my fur babies. I will be available 7 days a week. If I have any off day by chance, just message me and I can see if we will be able to work something out.❤️ I currently stay in an apartment, close by Shakespeare park, with a near by dog park that I take my fur babies to every other day. I have a fenced in balcony that I and my dog enjoy sittings on every night. I have one XL cage for bigger dogs, and one human sized bed as well (literally like three humans can fit on it) Just want to make sure everyone is comfortable, even though with all the space they still lay directly on top of each other. 😂❤️

About: I've taken care of my own dogs since I was eight. I worked with a miniature dog and medium sized dog. Feeding, watering, bathing, walking and training them. About: Hi! I'm now available after a short hiatus. (Hence the gaps in the reviews) Recently married, my name is now Brittney Tyson Sporman. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the majority of my life. I am owner to three wonderful doggos, four charismatic kitties, a grumpy hedgie (Nugget), and a little dinosaur (gecko) named Mochi. Since I developed such a love and joy for animal caregiving it seemed only right to pursue a career in the veterinary field. I started off as a kennel tech at my local humane society which eventually lead to me managing the cat section of the shelter. This was when I realized I am first and foremost a crazy cat lady. I gained experience in learning how to evaluate and treat illness as well as properly care for felines and canines. Once I mastered the basics of venipuncture, medication administration, and vaccines I had enough experience to get a job at a local veterinary clinic. There I acted as a receptionist, client care coordinator, and veterinary assistant. I counseled clients regarding nutrition, behavioral problems, obesity, parasite problems, geriatric, flea problems, pre- and post-operative care, treatment instructions, etc. as well as assisting veterinarians and technicians with pets and diagnostics as necessary. After doing this for a few years I became familiar with veterinary medical terminology and procedures, how to perform wellness examinations, and how to recognize significant changes in health and mentation. This led to me being able to get a job at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician in immediate and intensive care in Auburn’s emergency and critical care department for most of my career before going back to general practice. After working in general practice for one year I realized my passion was in emergency medicine and I started working at an emergency clinic as an overnight ICU nurse. After my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer I decided to take a step back from full time veterinary medicine as I was facing compassion fatigue and burn out. That’s when I decided not to let my 10+ years of experience go to waste and I started my “business”, Lemon’s Aid. "Lemon's Aid" was founded in honor of my special needs puppy, Lemon. It is my hope and ambition at Lemon's Aid to provide exceptional healthcare and pet sitting experiences for your pets with skilled nursing treatments, specialty care, convenient home-based visits, as well as home to hospital transportation. Nursing house calls and in home sitting help alleviate the stress and anxiety that pets, and their families can experience during traditional vet clinic or boarding facility visits. This business helps bring in income as well as gives me the flexibility needed to care for my family. I am veterinary CPR certified and have experience performing CPR on canines and felines. I also have completed other programs in the veterinary field including my Fear Free Certification in small animals and exotics as well as The AAFP's Cat Friendly Practice program.
