“Finding Lindsey is the biggest blessing! I just moved to gulf shores with my puppy and have to go out of town to shoot weddings from time to time. I was so worried about leaving my fur baby in the right hands. Sandy (my dog) had so much fun at their BEAUTIFUL, spacious home that sits on so much land. She played in a sand pit and kiddie pool and I got updates all throughout the day of her having the time of her life. I don’t know what happened in those 3 days, but Sandy came back smarter than ever. She probably took some notes from their older dog Finn! Finn is Sandy’s first friend and I know she can’t wait to be reunited with him and Lindsey’s sweet family! Lindsey is really the best option for boarding.”

About: I have had dogs in my house ever since I was a small child and have taken care of them and trained them in crates, bathrooms, etc. I help friends whenever they need me to come check on their pets or keep them at my place and enjoy being around animals. I currently work 8:30-5:00 full time but I have somewhat flexible hours and the ability to work from home some weeks. Even when I am in the office I would be able to leave for a visit or two during the work day. I have a very nice common area and will be happy to walk your dog as much as they need. I also have a 7 month lab pup named Rico who is the best boy and would love to play with your pup. He has been great with other dogs so far but can be a little hyper.

I do have a fenced yard for the zoomies and a neighborhood with a sidewalk for walks. My dogs passed away from old age, so it brings a smile to my face to be able to help take care of other people’s pets. Animals are more than just pets to me, I love them very much! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, since I was about to be seven. I took care of my families and neighbors animals. Till I got out of high school. I’m currently looking for a job. But I’m hoping this job will help me rediscover my passion to be a vet tech. Because I put that dream aside for my kids. I have a fenced in yard. I have one furry baby, and two kids. My kids are six and a newborn. So your furry friends will have lots of love.
About: I grew up with a Rottweiler, Labrador, and Golden Retriever. I love big breeds but I currently have a Yorkie that unexpectedly stole my heart. Any pup is welcome here, we do not discriminate :) I have taken basic training classes, and can work with your pup while I have them, if interested. My job is very flexible and my schedule is catered to my own pets. Short shifts and when not working, we are usually doing dog friendly activities. We live right beside a dog park where I’m happy to bring your baby to get their exercise in. My dog is older and enjoys frequent naps but we take at least 4 walks a day.

About: Boarding kennels almost seem like cruel and unusual punishment for dogs accustomed to having the run of the house, getting lots of daily exercise, and sleeping in bed at night with their humans. Some pet owners report their dog’s personality seems different after being boarded. And then there are contagious diseases to consider whenever your dog is sharing an institutional-type facility for several days with strange (unfamiliar) dogs. Bordetella bronchiseptica is called ‘kennel cough’ for a reason. (The bordetella vaccine, by the way, while required by many kennels, grooming shops and other pet care facilities, is ineffective and I don’t recommend it.) Hiring a dog walker or pet sitter to stop in twice a day for short visits also isn’t an option for many pet owners. Canines are pack animals and require more human interaction on a daily basis than pet sitters are typically able to..... I provide all that you may be looking for.
