“Thank you Jessica for watching our pup! We can tell that he had a blast with her family as well and that’s all that matters! Will be rebooking as soon as we come into town!!!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Made me feel so at ease leaving my pup with him and he was so happy and cared for when he picked him up after 4 days. Daily pictures and texts with updates- couldn’t be happier with awesome Colby was with our very energetic pup.”

About: Going out of town and don’t want your dog stressed out in a kennel? Let me ease your woes! I became a sitter after using Rover myself, and I can confidently tell you there are various levels of care you’ll receive here. This is the top tier boarding! I now offer boarding at my home in Omaha, Georgia, a rural, fully fenced property with acreage, a dedicated dog run, and a dog door so your pup has free access to inside and outside as they please. This isn’t a crate-and-wait situation. Your dog gets to just be a dog, roaming, sniffing, exploring, all in an idyllic, safe setting with constant supervision. I work from home full time and am never not with the dogs in my care. As an added layer of peace of mind, every boarding dog wears a tracker collar during their stay. I’ll add you to the app so you can see exactly where your dog is and monitor their daily activity and steps in real time. My dog Petey is my shadow and will likely be part of your dog’s stay. He’s well-socialized and a great host. If your dog prefers solo time or isn’t dog-friendly, Petey can absolutely be kept separate. No problem at all. More and more owners I have consultations with have expressed that their pets are left in kennels for extended periods or are not exercised enough and become stressed. This is often from younger sitters or sitters who lowball their prices and do not set clear expectations of their service. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond in caring for your pet, I am your gal. I treat your pets like family while at the same time understanding you are paying me for a premium service, and that’s exactly what you’ll get. Please read the section below “When Kady watches your pet” for specific details about sample routines, what to expect, etc. When Kady Watches Your Pet Your dog’s day with me follows a consistent routine so they always know what to expect. I work from home full time, so your dog is never alone. Most dogs settle right in and are happy to snooze under my desk after a good walk or hike. Your dog starts the day around 6 AM with a bathroom break and an extended walk or sniff walk, followed by breakfast and fresh water. Throughout the morning and afternoon they’re free to roam the property, nap under my desk, or play in the yard while I work. They always have access to inside and outside via the dog door, and I’m always within sight or earshot. Midday they get another walk or backyard play session, and I’ll send you photo updates on Rover. The evening follows the same rhythm with another long walk, dinner, and chill time while I work or watch TV. Before bed they get a final bathroom break and an enrichment session like a filled Kong or indoor fetch to wind down for the night. There are few quality boarding options in our area, and I never take more than one to two dogs at a time to ensure every pup gets top quality, individualized care. Because they’re boarding with me on my property, there’s no coming and going. They’re with me from drop off to pick up, 24 hours a day. Once you see your dog’s activity on their tracker collar and the photos I send throughout the day, you’ll feel confident they’re getting premium attention. Your dog will consider this their own vacation!
About: I have 16 years of fur baby care experience. I hate to see our babies go to facilities that don't provide personal touch or services. I am retired so I am available for boarding pretty much most of the time. I have time to play and care for your babies. I have a fenced area in my yard for our babies to play and do their business. I Will utilize a crate periodically when needed.

About: I am a huge pet lover who enjoys their company just as much as they enjoy ours. Between walking, playing fetch and doing fun tricks for treats. There is nothing better than a good snuggle from our fur-babies to end the day. I work during the week so I am not home from 8am-7pm Monday thru Friday. I allow my fur-babies on the furniture to cuddle as well as bed. We have lint-rollers for a reason. The back yard is fenced in and big enough to roam and fetch, plenty of sticks to play around with as well. I do keep them indoors while I am away and spend much needed time outdoors in the fresh air if they are playful. Car rides are the absolute best! I currently work full time. I am available for boardings throughout the week and weekends as some days I allow my dogs to stay outside while I am away or working (there is plenty of shade and multiple water sources I put out) but I also have a bedroom with crates set up if you prefer they be indoors while I’m away. I have a fenced yard and three friendly fit babies to keep yours company. I also have two large/xtra large crates setup in a bedroom.

“Alex and Diane are great people and took amazing care of my animal! Super sweet and was very caring of what my cat needed, and very knowledged on top of that. Very happy with them.”

“We were so excited to find Colby & his family! Normally we would leave our boys in the camper while we do our adventures, but it was so hot. I contacted Colby late the night before and he took our boys in while we rafted in Columbus. They were loved & cared for while we were on our adventure and we’re so worn out that they were happy to sleep through the rainy night.”

About: Hi! I'm now available after a short hiatus. (Hence the gaps in the reviews) Recently married, my name is now Brittney Tyson Sporman. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the majority of my life. I am owner to three wonderful doggos, four charismatic kitties, a grumpy hedgie (Nugget), and a little dinosaur (gecko) named Mochi. Since I developed such a love and joy for animal caregiving it seemed only right to pursue a career in the veterinary field. I started off as a kennel tech at my local humane society which eventually lead to me managing the cat section of the shelter. This was when I realized I am first and foremost a crazy cat lady. I gained experience in learning how to evaluate and treat illness as well as properly care for felines and canines. Once I mastered the basics of venipuncture, medication administration, and vaccines I had enough experience to get a job at a local veterinary clinic. There I acted as a receptionist, client care coordinator, and veterinary assistant. I counseled clients regarding nutrition, behavioral problems, obesity, parasite problems, geriatric, flea problems, pre- and post-operative care, treatment instructions, etc. as well as assisting veterinarians and technicians with pets and diagnostics as necessary. After doing this for a few years I became familiar with veterinary medical terminology and procedures, how to perform wellness examinations, and how to recognize significant changes in health and mentation. This led to me being able to get a job at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician in immediate and intensive care in Auburn’s emergency and critical care department for most of my career before going back to general practice. After working in general practice for one year I realized my passion was in emergency medicine and I started working at an emergency clinic as an overnight ICU nurse. After my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer I decided to take a step back from full time veterinary medicine as I was facing compassion fatigue and burn out. That’s when I decided not to let my 10+ years of experience go to waste and I started my “business”, Lemon’s Aid. "Lemon's Aid" was founded in honor of my special needs puppy, Lemon. It is my hope and ambition at Lemon's Aid to provide exceptional healthcare and pet sitting experiences for your pets with skilled nursing treatments, specialty care, convenient home-based visits, as well as home to hospital transportation. Nursing house calls and in home sitting help alleviate the stress and anxiety that pets, and their families can experience during traditional vet clinic or boarding facility visits. This business helps bring in income as well as gives me the flexibility needed to care for my family. I am veterinary CPR certified and have experience performing CPR on canines and felines. I also have completed other programs in the veterinary field including my Fear Free Certification in small animals and exotics as well as The AAFP's Cat Friendly Practice program. I have quit my full time job in order to assist my grandmother who is recovering from surgery and cancer which leaves me with a very open schedule I am not currently equipped to house animals in my home as I have my own mini zoo (lol). While my fiancé stays home to care for my kiddos I can help take care of yours in the comfort of your own home from check in visits, walks, and/or overnight stays in your home.
“I can say nothing but good things. Great communication, flexible availability, and most importantly great with my high energy pup. I have peace of mind due to the wide variety of care options provided as I know that my pup is being cared for at the level expected.”
