One is newly diagnosed diabetic, and she took the time to come over ahead to learn how to give the insulin so I had no worries when I was away for a week! She and her husband Phil spoiled them and treated them like their own family! She made them special a special treat and I got a nice printed picture of them and it looks like they were living their best life! I will definitely be booking her again!!”

About: Since a young age, I have had dogs and a few cats in my household. We have had dogs ranging from newborn to 17 years old. I am versed in taking care of pets, whether they are sick, require extra care, or extra monitoring around your other pets. I have a flexible job, so I am able to work and not work when needed. I prefer to do Pet care over my regular job. I have several leashes and collars, and am very familiar with the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham surrounding areas. I am willing to guard your pet with my life.

About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. Took time out to build that trust, connection, and loyalty to make sure we trust each other and be there for each other. I currently just graduated school. I went to Troy University out of high school and transferred to the University of Mississippi for my final year. Right now I have alot of free time on my hands and can work around any schedule. I care for pets the same way I care for a human. But also with the understanding the dog has to know your the “Top Dog” in a sense so it knows to respect you and not turn against you.

About: I have had and loved dogs for more than 20 years. I specialize in small to medium size. I only care for one to three dogs. Keeping it small allows for more attention and a great experience. Se habla espanol. I'm a "stay-at-home." My schedule is flexible and caring for pets really fulfills my day. I can board on weekends and possibly holidays. My home is cozy and your dog stays on a soft bed right in the family room. Cages are not used unless you request and provide. Outside, I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to play fetch or chase the occasional butterfly. I enjoy gardening and dogs love to be outside.

As an adult, I've had my own pets and have been hired to pet-sit for several friends' dogs and cats, both short- and long-term gigs, over the years. I have experience administering oral medication to both dogs and cats and some dog grooming experience (although grooming is not my passion, ha). Weekends are when I consistently have the most time to focus on your pet, but I sometimes have some availability on weekdays. Just ask and I'll see what I can do! We have a fenced-in backyard (tall wooden fence) that is the size of an additional lot. The yard has a few shade trees and is mostly open grass. We have several toys to play with, both in the backyard and inside, including a water sprinkler. Your dog will not be left unattended in my care unless I need to run an errand briefly and they are secured according to your instructions (crated, etc.) We have a large dog crate your dog can use if you'd like so you don't have to bring yours back and forth. There are several safe places to go for walks nearby with lots of grassy areas.

About: Huge animal lover! Throughout my life I've cared for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and breeds (and some reptiles too). I currently have one cat myself. I have a pretty flexible work from home schedule. Would love to get some exercise and play time in with your pet between work meetings! I am attentive to each dog's unique needs. About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs in the house, currently with a chocolate lab. At home, I used to take care of lots of neighborhood pets so I definitely have good experience with dog sitting! I have been actively dog sitting and recently fostered a puppy at my previous home in Dayton, OH, just was not listed on Rover. I am now in Columbus, MS for the military. I am flexible on pricing if something does not work out. I am pretty free at the moment for dog sitting! I can spend mostly all day with the pups! About: I have always loved and cared for all animals, my family has consistently kept at least 1 dog and 1 cat in the household, and I became an active caretaker of our animals around age 9. Although I began with my family pets, I have consistently taken care of others animals for 2 years. In that time I have worked with many dog sizes and their resulting personalities. About: I’ve had many pets growing up, from cats to dogs! I love all animals, I used to be a barrel racer so I’ve ridden horses! And, my entire family has also been animal lovers from one having 4 dogs in one household to another having a pet tortoise! I’ve been around it all, small or big, chill or excited, so I love all! I’m currently a Student at the University of Alabama. I also am a member of the university’s Million Dollar Band! This being said I do have an availability that of a student. But, this should not limit my abilities of caring for your pet! I am very open and flexible with my schedule and we can find a way to make it work that is best comfortable for you! If you were wanting to have me care for your pet at home, they would have to be house trained as well as being okay around cats. My cat is very sweet she’s been around other cats and dogs, so she is very well acquainted to other animals! If I am to care for your animal at your home, I can assure you that I will do my best to follow your exact daily schedule your animals are accustomed to, that way they don’t have any extra stresses! As well as, you will not have to worry in the slightest bit about coming back and finding your place a mess!
