However, depending on client’s preferences I also have the space in my home to comfortably separate their pets from any combination of mine depending on your/your pet’s comfort level. My home allows for walking opportunities at the Monte Sano Land Trust as well as Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve, and a fenced in dog yard to play in. My goal is to provide the most knowledgeable and experienced service possible for dog owners like myself who want to take great care of their pets! I work from home all of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I already keep track of my own pets and have the space to do so with much more. Safety is of the utmost concern to me for your pets. I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. My dog is a scavenger and she’s done a really great job of forcing me to dog-proof this place so there’s absolutely nothing to possibly get into. Like I mentioned in my bio, I do have the space available to prevent any interaction between a client’s dog and mine if they feel that would be a risk at all, or if I sensed at any point that it would be. They don’t get a kennel, they get a whole spare bedroom and the living room! And just take turns in the yard. I’m willing to go to lengths to ensure clients feel comfortable with the safety of their animal in my home.

About: My wife and I both grew up with pets and lovingly cared for our dog and two cats for over 17 years before they crossed the rainbow bridge. We recognize that each pet has their own unique needs, and are patient and responsive to ensure they are well cared for. I work from home full-time and my wife works from home part-time. I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of breeds and have rescued most of the dogs in my life from local shelters and rescues. I have a lot of respect for animals and find them to be the most intelligent and resilient creatures. I adore being around them. I have dog sat many times over the years for people. I figured why not add some variety to my life! So, I decided to join Rover! 😍 I treat every pet that comes through my door, like my own. I provide fun extras too. When I board dogs in my home, on their last day they get treated like they are at a spa. Every dog gets a pup cup! I also spray them with pet deodorizing spray and give them a greenie so they go home smelling so nice. I have extra crates and dog bowls that are all thoroughly sanitized between dog visits. I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I book a lot of clients over holidays too! My daughter also loves to help me care for the dogs. I have been teaching her about dog care and respect for animals since she was very young. She loves every second of it. She even helps me take them outside to play and helps me prep for feeding time too. She knows to respect animals and give them space when they need it. But to be honest what mostly ends up happening is she watches tv with them and they snuggle so much and have snacks :) I have a fenced in back yard in a very safe and dog friendly community. “Toya is AMAZING. Our baby loves spending time with Auntie Toya and is very comfortable (even for being a shelter dog). She has nervous tendencies but don’t come up when Auntie Toya is around… Toya spoils her and loves on her and I have no worries because I know she being spoiled while I’m away. Love knowing she’s in loving hands. Brings me such peace of mind while I’m away. 🫶🏼”
