I will most likely never mix two families’ pets together in my home in a boarding situation as I wouldn’t be able to properly vet the two animals together prior to them being in my home. My dog is a scavenger and she’s done a really great job of forcing me to dog-proof this place so there’s absolutely nothing to possibly get into. I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I am currently a stay at home mama so I have a lot of availability including overnight pet sitting in my home. I can do anytime during the week and on weekends as well! I’m fully insured and certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll care for them like they’re part of my own family. I’m home most of the time, so pets get regular potty breaks, attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. My schedule is flexible during the week and weekends, which makes it easy to stick to routines and give pets plenty of care and interaction. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and comfort levels, since every pet is different. In my home, pets are supervised, kept in a low-stress environment, and treated like part of the family. I also keep owners updated regularly so they know how their pets are doing.
