In all the videos and pictures my dogs seemed so happy and at ease. At pickup they were in no distress and happy. Morgan was super patient with my many questions and happily allowed a meet and greet in advance of Bailey’s stay so I could see her home and yard. When we arrived for Bailey’s stay, Mason and Morgan had it planned very carefully for a safe introduction to another dog staying with them and their dog, Tug. About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood, and for the last five years I’ve regularly helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and basic care. I understand dog behavior well and stay calm, consistent, and reliable no matter the dog’s age or personality. I currently am off season for my job, but I go to school at Alabama so it depends on when in the day and what times! But I am done at 2 pm every day. I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. About: I've taken of so many animals its hard to keep track. Cats, dogs, etc... You name the animal and I've been there to take care of them. I am super free Tuesday and Thursday, and weekday/weekend nights. I love to have overnight visitors and take my pets on long walks themselves. I usually get up pretty early, so there is some time there as well! I live in a house with a backyard pretty close to downtown, so lots of shaded sidewalks and places to run around in. The house is already dog-proof (read scratched up) so no worries there!

I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.
“Anna watched BJ for us during the tornado scare while we were in LA. I was so worried not being able to be with my dog in such scary weather. Anna kept us updated and truly treated BJ as one of her own. That really let me know that we will probably never use another sitter unless she is unavailable because she really does love the animals she watches. We can’t thank you enough Anna, you rock!!”

“Leanna was perfect! I am most definitely a crazy dog mom and she made me feel super comfortable about leaving my pup. She also sent me pictures randomly to show me what a good time thor was having and send a video when I was missing him and asked how he was. She was super sweet and worked with me for pick up and drop off times. I will definitely use Leanna again for any future bookings!”

“Bailey’s stay with Morgan was FABULOUS! I volunteer for Lost Dogs Illinois so I know firsthand how many dogs are lost when with a sitter. Morgan was super patient with my many questions and happily allowed a meet and greet in advance of Bailey’s stay so I could see her home and yard. When we arrived for Bailey’s stay, Mason and Morgan had it planned very carefully for a safe introduction to another dog staying with them and their dog, Tug. During her stay, Bailey enjoyed playing with Tug and the other pup visiting. Morgan sent me photo and video updates and was always super speedy in her responses to my texts. I could not be happier with Bailey’s stay with Morgan, Mason, and Tug. I’m sure she’ll be back with Morgan when we visit our Bama student again in the future.”
