About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! While I only have a balcony, it is good enough for my dogs to sunbathe on and stare at passersby. About: I’m a devoted animal lover who treats every animal like my own! Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or cuddles, I make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Known for my reliability, patience, and big heart for furry friends, I bring positive energy and genuine care to every walk, visit or stay. I have 8 years of experience caring for pets of my friends and families…I’m open to all types of care weather it’s just a walk, need me to let them out, keep them at my place or I stay at yours! I work at UAB Hospital 3 days a week, even on days I work I can let them out before after and on my hour break! I will make any accommodations necessary for you and your animals! I live right by railroad park, so that area would be perfect for any animal to be walked in! I like by myself with no pets in my apartment.

It was also my puppy’s first time away from me and it went so well. I also loved that there was a huge backyard for my boys to run around in, so they were nice and tired as I unpacked from my trip. “If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
