Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). My old gal was with us for 17 years so I have elderly dog experience. I’m so excited to love on your dogs. About: My first memory of a dog was interacting with the black labs my grandparents owned growing up. Open communication is extremely important to me and I work hard to make sure my clients are beyond happy with my level of customer service. During our first meeting I make sure to go over daily schedules, specific needs, special requests and unique concerns. My goal is to make sure my clients’ pups see my home as their home away from home and the key to doing that is providing a consistent environment that closely matches what they’re used to. As for the dogs, I let them sniff and warm up to me in their own time. I’m a compassionate, patient and calm person, and my personality warms up even the most nervous of pups! For the anxious dogs—when in my home, it usually takes about 1-2 hours after their parent leaves for the first time before the they relax fully. During that time, I provide extra attention and care so they know I’m a person they can trust. I’m also extremely active and dedicate a great portion of our time together playing games and going on walks. They won’t even have time to get bored or anxious when you’re away because I fill our time with all the things they love to do! I’m not currently working so I have all the time in the world to be home to care for your pet! It is just Autumn (not Autumn and Jacob) I could not figure out how to change my name on here😁 I don’t have a day job so this is my day job! I have always got along well with dogs. So I have no problem with this! I would treat any animal like my own. Any instructions you have will be followed exactly as written. Leash will always be used unless you have a back yard, safety of your pets are most important!! I am available most every day, 8 AM to 2 PM. I am active and willing to make sure your pet is as well. Anything I can do to help! I can’t offer services for in home sitting for now as I can’t have pets in my home at this moment but I look forward to it in the future!!! 😁

About: My sister and I fostered all types of dogs and cats through the Greater Birmingham Humane Society since 2020. Since I have moved to Calera, I now assist locally with CHILTON County TNR. As of now, I take care of a dog and cat, which were both rescues. Im currently working Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and do remote work Tuesdays and Fridays! I also have availability for weekends, just ask me about specific times! I have a big fenced in backyard with some big trees that allow some good shade. There is also a back porch with an awesome fan because we all get hot in this Alabama heat. I have 2 friendly dogs that can help your dog get some energy out or they can be separated by crates which I can provide, depending on your preference.
