“Penny spent a week with Lindsey and her pack and she seemed to be very happy and content with her stay. Lindsey provided updates every morning and evening, letting me know that Penny had eaten her food and what she had done for the day. She also included pictures in which I could tell Penny was having fun. During her visit it was July 4 and Penny is extremely scared of fireworks. Lindsey made a safe space for Penny and checked on her consistently. I feel that Penny was in good hands with Lindsey and her family. I would not hesitate to leave Penny with Lindsay again!”

About: I watched my friends and families pet whenever they go out of town ever since I was 22, I love being around animals in general. Mostly available in the evenings 3pm until 11pm any day of the week. Sunday through Saturday you can count on me. About: I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land. I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s! I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. I frequently watch dogs that are not friendly with cats since I can keep everyone separated if need be.

If you have small dogs, they can run freely, and I would stay outside to watch them. If you have large dogs they can stay out all they want. Dogs love me! About: I’ve had six years of kennel experience at places like doggy day cares and currently am employed at a vet clinic! At my jobs, I have been responsible for special cases such as dogs with health conditions and giving medications. I also have experience with home visits/overnight stays with clients as well! I currently am employed full time at a vet clinic working as a lead kennel assistant, this means I am responsible for the cats and dogs that are staying the night at our facility! The beginning of my day would be dedicated to your pet then I’m off to work at 7:00 am. I would return for mid-day care at 10:00-11:00 am. Once I’m off work I’d be back for the end of day around 5:30-6:00 pm! With my experience at not only at doggy day cares but vet clinics I know just how important it is to be attentive towards our pets! Especially pets with medical issues or issues that are common in certain breeds! With my training I can provide a safe and trusting environment that will let owners feel at ease when they are not home!
