After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
