About: Recently, I’ve been volunteering at a cat shelter, where I work with a variety of cats with different temperaments and needs 🐈 I also assist with cleaning and upkeep to ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for them 🧼✨ My goal is always to help create a calm, welcoming space where each cat can feel secure and cared for 💛🐾

About: I’ve had cats since the age of six. I’ve always loved cats and had a special connection with most! I’ve always had a love for animals!

About: I have been caring for cats for 24 years, so I understand their unique personalities, behaviors, and needs. Whether they're playful and energetic or more reserved and independent, I know how to adjust my approach and make them feel comfortable. I'm patient with shy cats, experienced with administering medication, and attentive to subtle changes in behavior that might indicate stress or health issues. My goal is to create a calm, trusting environment where cats can feel safe and cared for while their owners are away!!

About: I’ve been handling animals ever since I was 13, this includes cats, dogs, and even bunnies! (I had one that I let free roam). Cats and Bigger dogs are always a personal favorite but I truly love animals and even considered going into veterinary sciences! I can assure you, your animal is in great hands seeing as I have a cat and two dogs myself!

About: I first got a kitten when I was 7 years old. That was my first ever pet! I've loved cats all my life. I've taken care of lots of different cats - social ones, anti-social ones, cuddly ones. I also helped my brother administer shots to his senior cat in kidney failure. My senior kitty has asthma and I give her medicine pretty regularly. I know I can do an excellent job caring for your feline friend.

“Kathleen was wonderful. Her availability and caring personality for animals is great. She made sure to greet everyone and make sure all were safe each day. I’ll be booking with her in the future and she has my recommendation for anyone needing a pet sitter.”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors for 30 years. When it comes to pet care, I don’t just “watch” animals, I learn them. I pay attention to the tiny tells, the tail angles, the side glances, the way they circle twice instead of three times before settling in. That means your pet isn’t getting a generic routine, they’re getting care shaped around their personality, quirks, and comfort. I communicate clearly and consistently, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. With me, your pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and you feel confident know they're in capable, attentive hands. I'm currently a homemaker and would be able to accommodate your schedule through the week and on the weekends with pet care in your home or ours. Both of our boys are rescues and have been enjoying their furever homes. Kevin (dog) found us and hasn't left our sides since coming into our lives. Uncle Ricky (cat) was adopted from a shelter and has become the most loving cat we've ever had. They are loved and spoiled beyond belief.

About: I've taken care of pets for friends and family when needed and have experience giving medication to elderly and sick dogs. We have three female dogs of our own (pug & pug mix) and they would love to have friends over to play ball. I look forward to helping you with all your boarding and care needs. We love our fur babies and yours will be treated like another member of our family. I currently work 8am to 4:30pm during the weekday but my wife is home all day & can take care of your pets. If your dog needs special food or medication; I would like a detailed list of instructions of the times and types of medication needed. I will also do daily photos of your dog sent through text messages if requested.
“Poppy is special, not just to me, but to everyone she meets so traveling with her can be a challenge. I always want to make sure she is cared for in a loving, safe, and comfortable environment. After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs in the Birmingham area especially if you’re traveling between Birmingham and Talladega. Great experience all around!”

About: We love dogs! But right now with 7 kids in the throws of school and all the extracurriculars, it’s just not the right time for us to have our own furry family member, so let us love on yours! My husband and I each had dogs growing up and we had a family dog until he passed away a few years ago. We have been boarding, walking, and doing drop-ins since that time. From puppies to senior dogs, we can take care of them all. I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my 7 children, so we’re home the majority of the time and will be able to fit in your dog’s regular schedule into our every day routine. When pets stay at our house we do our best to keep the same schedule and expectations the dogs have come to know at their homes. I enjoy going for walks at the park and visiting the dog park with dogs who are accustomed to it. We do not have a fenced yard, so I make sure each pet gets adequate exercise each day on a leash. When I come to your home, I will follow your directions exactly as you desire and provide pictures and GPS “walking time cards” via Rover so you can be assured your pet is receiving the high quality care you paid for!

“Flash had a great day in Doggie Daycare with Emily and her family! They played with him and took him for a walk. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. You can tell they love dogs and it made me happy that Flash was comfortable with them. I recommend them as dog sitters and plan to book with them again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I don’t just “watch” your pets—I care for them like they’re my own. With years of hands-on pet sitting experience, I focus on building real trust with both pets and their owners so you can feel confident while you’re away. I’ve trained several puppies and understand the patience, consistency, and attention they need, and I also have experience caring for senior pets and their specific needs—whether that’s slower routines, extra comfort, or medication reminders. I pay attention to the little things—your pet’s habits, personality, and favorite routines—so they feel safe, loved, and right at home. My goal is simple: spoiled pets and completely stress-free owners. I’m currently building my life coaching business, which only requires about 2–3 hours of work per day—and it’s all done from my laptop. Because of this, I’m home and available most of the time, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available for drop-ins, boarding, house sitting, and overnight care as needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I have a fully fenced-in yard where dogs can play safely and get fresh air. I also have an extremely loving 3-year-old cat who is very friendly, gentle, and used to being around other animals. I tailor care to each pet’s needs and personality. For larger dogs who need extra exercise and stimulation, I provide fun, exercise-based games and active playtime to keep them happy and engaged. For smaller dogs—or pets who simply want more affection—I’m always happy to slow things down with snuggles, lap time, and relaxing together (TV time included!). If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make sure to follow their normal routines closely so they feel safe, secure, and stress-free while you’re away. My goal is to create a loving, calm environment wherever your pet is staying.

“Sent tons of pictures which was much appreciated, very communicative and definitely made me feel at ease about my puppy! He’s so high energy and is always super crazy but he was tired when I got home after their walk/ play time! 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be booking with her again. I’ve had such terrible experiences with two other rover’s before so this was a very nice and pleasant change of pace. She definitely goes above and beyond and obviously genuinely cares so much about the dogs she takes care of.”

I understand that each dog has unique needs, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. We recently moved to Springville from Tucson, AZ. I am currently not working so have plenty of time and love to provide to all pets! I have a fenced in yard and a playful 1 1/2 year old pup to keep your dog company! If your pet is more comfortable at home, I am happy to come to your house and spend time with your pet(s)!

“Our dog had the best time with Leslie and her dogs. She was so well taken care of had lots of outside play. I enjoyed seeing many wonderful pictures. I would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a very walkable neighborhood with ponds and trails. If needed, I also have a crate available.
“They did a great job caring for Rosemary!! I got updates every day, and Rosie seemed like a happy and healthy girl when she came back home. We have already booked again for another weekend!”

“Whitney was wonderful with my pups for our last minute getaway! She was quick to respond and sent us lots of pics and videos from their stay with her. We will definitely be using Whitney as our sitter for future vacations!!”

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Chase was amazing and sent photos of our Birdie each day. When we returned from our trip, we asked to extend her say for an extra two nights. Chase was able to accommodate our additional stray. Highly recommend!”

“Harold took excellent care of my mother’s senior dogs. She was worried sick about leaving them with just anyone, but he treated them as if they were his own and sent tons of pictures each day. He was very patient and caring with them. I will definitely be using him again in the future and highly recommend him.”

“Cody was great with my dog! Gave him plenty of walks, he seemed well fed and in good spirits when I picked him up. Very good communication as well, would highly recommended”

“New puppy, new experiences, Welcome to Rover. What can I say? Wrigley and I were both spoiled. She was treated like family, exercised, and and loved. We were provided photos, videos, and peace of mind. Barrie is as advertised by her reviews. I will definitely look to her first next time we travel. Thank you Barrie.”
