“Tony took very great care of my doggie. He actually spoiled him rotten!! LOL. He can watch him anytime. I will continue to book with Tony for upcoming boarding and drop-in services.”

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Katie and her family were absolutely amazing! They are were so kind and gave my pup all the extra attention he loves. Will absolutely be coming to her for future bookings 😊”

“Tatiana took very good care of Benny! She sent daily pictures and messages. She was also very flexible when my flight was delayed. I would definitely recommend her for your pet!”

“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

“Jessica was great! We got pictures every day and a video too! We could tell she made our old girl comfortable and happy in a new environment. She also has a one level house with no stairs to the backyard which is great for dogs with arthritis. We will definitely use her again next time we go out of town!”

“Doug did an amazing job with our puppy. He was very gentle and kind with her. It was our first time using Rover and first time leaving her for the weekend and I can honestly say I didn’t worry a bit. Highly recommend Doug and hope to use his services again.”

“Stephanie did a great job with our boy Bodhi. She was sweet, caring and we can tell Bodhi enjoyed his stay. Highly recommend her. She will be our go to in the future.”

“Cody was awesome! Received daily updates with pictures and videos. Exactly what this mom needed! Charlie seemed very happy and enjoyed the other dogs. Will be using Cody again!”

“This was such a great experience for our family! We always have tears when we leave Toby for boarding, but Savannah made everyone feel so happy and comfortable as soon as we met her and dropped him off! We received pictures all weekend and knew he was getting loved on and having a great time! We will definitely be doing this from now on!”

“Amy was wonderful with our two dogs! She very clearly spoiled them. I can tell by the pictures that they had a great time. Especially out in the back yard! She was also very accommodating with our schedule which was very much appreciated!”

“Kordell was amazing! This was my first time ever using Rover and I was a nervous wreck, but Kordell communicated effectively and sent daily updates and pics! Definitely will book again.”

“Jonathan and his family were great! We will definitely be requesting them as a new regular. Very friendly, helped us out and allowed us to extend our boarding for an additional night at last minute, sent updates and pictures, and made sure our dog had plenty of exercise!”

“Jessica has kept Murphy twice for us. He sure seemed quite happy after Weekend #1. When we went back for his second visit and he practically ran inside, we knew he was treated quite well at Ms. Jessica’s house. She’s really good with him. Intermittent pictures help tremendously and she is an excellent communicator. A great sitter!”

“Harold was great and Benny seemed happy to stay with him and the family! He sent many pictures and was very easy to communicate with. I will be asking him to babysit again.”

“Kristen was absolutely great with Brahm. She kept me updated on how he was doing and what he was doing. She sent lots of pictures and videos. This made me feel very comfortable that Brahm was being well cared for. Thank you Kristen.”

“Excellent service & care!! This was our first time not only using Rover, but having a pet sitter. I highly recommend Whitney as she cared for our pupper dog like she was her own!! Thank you so much!!”

“It was a pleasure to have Parris watch and take care of our almost 17 year old dog Vanilla for 5 days. Paris communicated very well, was prepared, and we highly recommend her! 👌”

About: I’ve had cat(s) my entire life. I literally attract cats. Everywhere I go, they appear! I’ve tamed a few feral kittens/cats as well. I’ve delivered kittens a few times too. I understand their unique sense of humor and their special needs. I can’t imagine life without a cat or two!

“Excellent care for my two cats. Normally very shy, they were comfortable with Carlie. Carlie stepped in when my usual sitter had a schedule conflict and was a complete blessing. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hey there, so I've worked with animals ever since I've had a job. I started out working at the Pell City Animal Shelter with my Mom years ago. Eventually, Dr Becky gave me a shot at a full time position at Animal House Vet Clinic, where I was also working part time along with full time at the shelter. As of posting this, I've been at the same clinic for just over 12 1/2 years now and don't plan to go anywhere. Caring for pets is just what I do. I don't see me doing anything else. I've pet-sit for years now also, but my last client recently called off the care, as they're moving, essentially. I work a full-time job in pet care, but if needed for my clients on Rover, I can try to stop by up to a max of three times a day. This would depend on if specific times are required. On work days, it would have to be before I head into work (which I get there at around 6:50am.) Mid day would be questionable, depending on distance, as it would have to be done over lunch. Later in the day would be fine in most cases, as I'm off work around 5:00. For the services I plan to continue providing through the Rover app, I'd basically do whatever pet owners need me to do that I can handle. Nail clips, drop-in pet sitting, administering any medications prescribed (if applicable), walks, etc. I go into this fully understanding that each and every situation is going to be different. And that's absolutely fine! Working at a vet clinic and owning dogs of my own, pet care is already a daily part of my routine. I just use my spare time caring for other's pets as well. When pet sitting in the past, whether staying at a client's residence or doing drop-in visits, I do my best to treat not only the pets, but the property that the owner is trusting me in with respect.
About: I am the happy mother of three rescued fur babies and two adult children. One of my fur babies has been trained to be an emotional support dog and knows some sign language. They love children. My husband and I are empty nesters. I have been an RVT (registered Vet Tech) at several animal clinics and hospitals in town and in California. I am capable of giving medication subcue and including injections, along withthe needs diabetic dogs or those with special needs. If you need help with behavior issues such as leash walking Im your gal. I love wet kisses from sloppy fur babies. I havnt found anything yet that has changed my mind about these sweet creatures and if I could have 10 of my own I would. Since that is not possible the next best thing is to help others take care of their fur babies. I work from home and am available to be with your fur babies the majority of the time. Besides running errands and I usually have my husband or daughter watch over them during those few times. Or I will bring them with me 🤗 Fur babies in my home are treated as family yes they allowed on the furniture unless you specifically do not want this . Then of course I do exactly what you want for your baby . We have backyard time and walks when weather permits
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, farms animals. Loving and caring for animals is my passion. They can be just a sprout all the way to a retired old baby and I will be happy to care for them. I’m currently working full time but plan on switch careers and would love to give this a try and see where it takes me in life. In my home, my dog, Buddy, is spoiled rotten. Lots of loves, plenty of cuddles. He is allowed on furniture. He doesn’t have a fenced in yard but he know his boundaries. In your home, I am more than willing to go by your rules.
About: I have had a love of animals for my entire life and have always owned at least one pet. My first pet fully on my own was a chinchilla named Chee who I got my sophomore year of college and since then, the pets have only grown. I currently have two large breed dogs. Bo is a 3-year-old belgian malinios mix and Bailey is a 1-year-old German Shepard. I am a licensed pharmacist who has recently cut back to part-time and I began looking for a non-healthcare way to spend my time. I mainly work on Wednesday and Thursday but am home by 7 pm on those days and available on other days of the week! I am very good at following instructions, and I also understand that pets need more than just a quick check up. I genuinely love animals and I would treat them like they are my own. My oldest dog also has a chronic health condition. That combined with my healthcare knowledge would make me a great resource for any special needs pets!
“I was very pleased with Gina! She was attentive to our cats and communicated well with me. It made a huge difference in my vacation, feeling like our cats were in good hands. Plan to use Gina again soon.”

About: Have worked on a farm since I was 14 years old, so I have experience with dogs cats and farm animals. I have at least 5 years of experience. Currently taking all online college classes so I have a lot of availability. I also have had dogs and cats my entire life so I have a lot of experience. I have a lot of options. I have a fenced yard area on the farm where they can get plenty of exercise. They can stay out or inside whichever they are used to. I am very attentive to all their needs while in my care.
About: I've been taking care of cats since I was a kid. My first pet-sitting job was for a neighbor when I was 6 years old. I went every morning to feed and empty the litter box and play with her cat. Then I would be back at night to do the same. I wish I would have known then you could do this for a living! I work at a vet's office so I am learning more and more about cats and dogs every day. I have my own fur lovelies at home so watching and loving your pets will blend in very nicely. I can do drop ins before/after work and on the weeks where my son isn't with me, I can do overnight stays too! I do not offer boarding since I am renting a place while I look for a house for me and my son. I love seeing animals in their home because it keeps them relaxed and comfortable. When I visit, I try to give them the love and care that their owners would so they feel safe and secure.
About: Ever since I was 6 years old I’ve had an unusual connection with dogs. They are my world. For some reason they always seem to find me. I’m the person you see on the highway going after a lost dog. I’ve had 6 dogs at once before. I can’t seem to say no to dogs needing a home. It’s my happiness. I have my own company and pick my own hours so I’m able to work around schedules to make sure I take care of the animals. I have a fenced in backyard, with two dogs right now that are very animal friendly and sweet. I have a 5 year old daughter who loves to help out with my fiancé.

About: I have over nine years of experience caring for dogs, including one year as a boarder. Growing up, I fostered dogs and cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, but since I can’t have one where I live, getting to walk and care for them every day brings me so much joy! Whether your pup needs extra playtime, careful attention, or a dependable walker, I’m here to help. As an online student at UAB, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks and pet care throughout any day of the week. I’m usually up by 6 AM, so I’m available for early morning walks if needed. However, I prefer not to do nighttime walks for safety reasons. Whether your pup needs a midday walk or an afternoon play session, I’m happy to be there! I provide pet care in clients’ homes, following all given instructions to ensure consistency and comfort for your dog. Whether it’s walking, exercise, feeding schedules, or crate time, I follow routines closely to keep pets happy and stress-free. About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats, and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food, water, treats, and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past, and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous, what treats they like, any meds needed, and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water, food, and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels, with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence, that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool, for hot days.
About: Hi, I am Jamie and I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. I have experience caring for a lot of different animals from horses, cats, a Greyhound, a family Frenchie, hermit crabs, a bearded dragon, and even working at a vets office for some time as a teenager. To now training and raising our Labrador Retriever and offering farm sitting services. My family and I have incredible amounts of enrichment and joy added to our lives because of our animals and yours. I am currently a homeschooling mom so I am available to meet various time frame needs as well as keep some animals in my home. I have a lab that lives playing with other dogs and a cat who is good at hiding from them! We offer a fenced in back yard and walks for your dog. We also keep a very clean home and yard, using only all natural cleaning products and yard sprays. We are a toxin free home. I have a fenced in back yard and am well aware of animal body language and needs. I am good at knowing when dogs need a break and need to be separated. I will be spending a lot of time playing with your animal doing things such as taking them for walks, letting them play with my puppy in the yard, playing fetch, etc. My animals and children can be kept separately from your dog if needed. I can also come to your home to care for your pets. I am trustworthy and honest and able to provide references to attest to such. For the safety of my children and other pets in our home, please do not drop off animals that have been sick in any way within the last 30 days. This includes any kind of worms/parasites that could be spread. We strive to provide a clean and safe environment for our clients. We mop floors, clean crates, wash food and water bowls and remove fecal matter daily. A cleaning fee staring at $50 may apply to any sick animals.

About: Hi! I’m a college athlete home for the summer looking to spend my break doing something I genuinely enjoy — caring for animals. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with pets of different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I have experience dog sitting for family and friends, including feeding, walks, playtime, overnight care, and making sure pets stay on their normal routines while their owners are away. As an athlete, I’m very active and dependable, so energetic dogs and long walks are never a problem! I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll always treat them like they’re my own. Whether your pet loves playing outside, going on walks, or just relaxing and getting attention, I’m happy to match their needs and personality. I’m available throughout the summer and would love to help make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away! Since I’m home from college for the summer, I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week. As a college athlete, I’m used to staying organized, responsible, and active, so fitting walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins into my routine comes naturally. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening care and can make sure your pets get consistent attention and care while you’re away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking closely to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I’ll follow all instructions carefully for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I try to make the experience as stress-free as possible. I’m very attentive during walks and outdoor time, and I always prioritize safety by keeping pets supervised and secure. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are doing well while they’re away. Since I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and have experience pet sitting, I’m comfortable caring for pets with different energy levels, temperaments, and needs. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.

About: Hello! I am a passionate dog lover who enjoys giving pups lots of love and attention. Over 2 years ago I finally got my own puppy (Plankton) and I've truly enjoyed raising him, caring for him and spending time with him. Before that, I've cared for dogs since I was a kid, including my family's dogs and the dogs of neighbors and friends while they were away. When I visit your pup I'll be sure to pay attention to their cues and make them feel special during our time together. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule. The pups spend the day with us in one of our offices, and get a lunchtime walk. When I visit your home I'll be sure follow instructions for entry and lock up when leaving. I'll approach your pup with patience and compassion to help them feel comfortable, especially if we've never met, and follow any guidance you provide for interacting and letting them outside safely.
“My babies came home fully intact! No parts missing lol! Jessica was a great host for my children. She sent updates throughout the day along with photographs. Yep, my babies came home just as I dropped them off, happy and all parts intact! Thank you Jessica!”

They will have room to play indoors and outdoors, they will have plenty of toys, treats, and easy access to their food and water!

About: I've been a dog and cat lover ever since I can remember. When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian, so when I was old enough I would volunteer at shelters and at the local veterinary clinic every chance I got. Family members and friends of my family would have me watch their dog or cat every now and then and I'd always go above and beyond for them! I'm currently not working so I will be home most of the time during the week. My 12 year old daughter is very active in taking care of our puppy, Lucie, so I'm certain she would be a helping hand in taking care of any other pets that come into our home for care. I have a huge fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pups to run some energy off in, decorated with more than a dozen toys, sticks and tennis balls to keep them occupied for hours on end. I am also experienced with kennels as well, but I do not currently have any at my house so that would have to be provided by you if that's what you prefer. I have lots of experience with animals that have separation anxiety, too. Also, I do have a female chestnut colored Labrador retriever who is just under a year old and still very much has that puppy mentality and is extremely energetic.
“Sent tons of pictures which was much appreciated, very communicative and definitely made me feel at ease about my puppy! He’s so high energy and is always super crazy but he was tired when I got home after their walk/ play time! 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be booking with her again. I’ve had such terrible experiences with two other rover’s before so this was a very nice and pleasant change of pace. She definitely goes above and beyond and obviously genuinely cares so much about the dogs she takes care of.”

“Jill does a fantastic job taking care of my dog when I out of town. She keeps me updated and sends pictures which I greatly appreciate. She is very pleasant to work with and I can trust her with my dog.”

“Jonathan and his family were great! We will definitely be requesting them as a new regular. Very friendly, helped us out and allowed us to extend our boarding for an additional night at last minute, sent updates and pictures, and made sure our dog had plenty of exercise!”

“Harold was great and Benny seemed happy to stay with him and the family! He sent many pictures and was very easy to communicate with. I will be asking him to babysit again.”

“Excellent service & care!! This was our first time not only using Rover, but having a pet sitter. I highly recommend Whitney as she cared for our pupper dog like she was her own!! Thank you so much!!”

“10/10 Jordyn was absolutely amazing with our dogs! We have two medium/large size dogs, one that’s a love bug and had never been boarded before and the other one has severe separation anxiety where previous boarding didn’t go well a couple years ago (previous time was with a different facility). From the initial meet and greet, to daily updates and photos she kept up informed but also made our anxious baby feel so loved. She has a beautiful fenced in area and we felt totally safe leaving our babies with her. We would absolutely use her again in the future! Thank you again for keeping our girls and they are already napping in the backseat :)”

“Charlie was so sweet and flexible! Her and her girls took great care of my Milo. From the pictures she sent throughout the weekend, it seemed like he got plenty loving and had tons of fun!”
