I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Been there for many animals from puppies to senior and everywhere in between. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. We allow pets on the furniture unless you say otherwise. We will always follow by the owner's rules and ways of doing things in our home.

About: Hello! My name is Giovanna, and I’d love to share a little about myself. Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets (other than a goldfish). My dad would take me to the pet store, and I would beg for even a hamster, but he never budged. So naturally, whenever I visited friends or went to gatherings, I was always the one playing with and loving on the pets. I jumped at every opportunity to help care for my friends’ and family’s animals. When I finally moved out on my own, I adopted my very first pet, my cat, Winnie, within 10 days. Not long after, I decided Winnie needed a friend, so I adopted my second cat, Apache. Later, when I moved in with my now husband, I finally convinced him to get a dog, something I had wanted my entire life. After lots of research, I chose a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and that’s how we welcomed Emmett into our family. One of my favorite hobbies is training Emmett, working on obedience, tricks, and even some agility. I love the moment when something finally “clicks” for him (it’s like finally understanding a math problem!). Growing up, people would always say their pets were family, and I didn’t fully understand that until I had my own. Now, I don’t even see them as pets, they are my children.
