About: I have had multiple dogs for decades. Dogs just seem to love me. I guess it's because they can tell I love them so much. I'm really good at taking care of things for your dog. I love walking them and playing. I don't even mind picking up the poop. I'm currently working part-time as a house cleaner. So I have flexibility in my schedule to take care of fur babies. Evenings and weekends are almost always open. I treat all dogs with kindness and respect. I would want others to take care of my babies that way. I always double check the food and water. If there are extra things needed, I make sure to get those done as well.

About: I have worked at a vets office going on 8 years now as a vet technician. I studied animal science at Auburn University. I have dog/cat sat for several years. I work an early shift as a superintendent. With my schedule I would still be able to do early early morning around 3/3:30 and mid afternoon check ins. I’m happy to provide care at whatever time or date works best for you—just give me about three days’ notice so I can plan accordingly. From time to time, I do watch my son’s three grand-pups, but I always try to block those dates out in advance so there’s no overlap or confusion. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority! I do want to be fully transparent—I live in a trailer in a quiet trailer park, which unfortunately isn’t an option to select on Rover (they only allow “home,” “apartment,” or “farm”). While my neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, I promise it’s much friendlier than it looks. All of my neighbors are senior citizens and truly some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. My best friend lives next door and helps keep an eye on my little one if I ever need to step out for errands or groceries, so your dog will always be safe and looked after. I also have a fully fenced-in backyard and typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. “Shelby was a life saver and the best dog walker ever. I had to bring my dog to my parents house for an out of state trip for two weeks. My parents are +70 years old and can’t walk my husky dog. I met Shelby and she was the only person I needed to see. Prince loved her immediately so I knew he was in good hands. Shelby gave Prince daily walks for one hour. Took him on trips to dog parks and even gave him a bath on his last day since it was a rainy week. I highly recommend her for any service and if I’m ever back in town with Prince I’ll definitely see if she’s available.”

I have watched dogs as small as 10 pounds to dogs as big as 80 pounds or over, I have a very special place in my heart for any & all animals! I work an early shift as a superintendent. With my schedule I would still be able to do early early morning around 3/3:30 and mid afternoon check ins.
