“We left our 16-year-old small dog with Jennifer And Irving for two nights in two days. She was a great communicator and sent us photos of Mattie during her stay. They were also very flexible about drop off and pick up. Mattie seemed to be having a good time in her photos. I was concerned they might not want to keep her because she sometimes has accidents and they said she did great (better than at home). Jennifer has two small dogs and three cats, and there were no reported disagreements. We will definitely use them again.”

I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I have had 3 golden doodles throughout my life, and my brother currently has a puppy that I help care for. I currently have two dogs at home and they are my best friends! I have also dog sat a good bit for dogs of all sizes. I am missing my dogs at college and would love to care for your dogs! I am a student at the University of Alabama, with classes from 11-3 Monday-Thursday. I am able to care for your pets most of the time outside of that window, including in the morning. I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. I can easily crate your pet if that’s what they’re used to. I can also come to your house to take them out and give them plenty of love.

About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.
“Catherine was awesome. Boots loves her and her fur babies, Annie and Chap. I was nervous at first leaving Boots (with anyone) because he is with me all the time. But Catherine sent me pics and updates so I felt better. She made treats for my sweet boy. She walked him and let him take naps with her. She took care of him like he was her own. I appreciate Catherine opening her home to him and loving him while we were gone.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I have had 3 golden doodles throughout my life, and my brother currently has a puppy that I help care for. I currently have two dogs at home and they are my best friends! I have also dog sat a good bit for dogs of all sizes. I am missing my dogs at college and would love to care for your dogs! I am a student at the University of Alabama, with classes from 11-3 Monday-Thursday. I am able to care for your pets most of the time outside of that window, including in the morning. I live in a house with three friends who are also big dog people. I am also able to drive to your house and provide care to your dogs there. I am flexible with timing and can make multiple visits a day.
