I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. Never in my 23 years of life have a met an animal I couldn’t work with, including the mean old cat my mother inherited. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic routines, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I understand that every dog has their own needs, so I’ll make sure to follow your instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for! Pet care fits easily into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. I’m also available during the week and on weekends and will always make sure your pet’s normal routine is followed. I do have classes Monday-Thursday but they are short. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I’ll also provide updates and pictures so you can feel at ease while your pet is in my care.
About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. Took time out to build that trust, connection, and loyalty to make sure we trust each other and be there for each other. I currently just graduated school. I went to Troy University out of high school and transferred to the University of Mississippi for my final year. Right now I have alot of free time on my hands and can work around any schedule. I care for pets the same way I care for a human. But also with the understanding the dog has to know your the “Top Dog” in a sense so it knows to respect you and not turn against you.
About: I have been trusted to take care of my family and friends’ pets since I have had my own car. Now that I’m old enough I want to start looking after other people’s pets more because they say do what you love. I can’t have any dogs in my own household so I want to take care of other people’s babies the best that I can. I’m in college so it’s hard to navigate between being in my college town in my home town, but I’m doing the best I can to take care of as many pets as my schedule allows. I follow specific instructions and say with the pets as long as my schedule allows. I love to send pictures of the pets for their owners because I know how much I would miss my baby. I make sure I have eyes on the pets before I leave so I don’t close them in a room and notify parents of any weird behavior.
About: I am almost always available to text/call. I have spent the last year dog sitting very often for one family, now happy to house sit and dog sit for others! I have a very flexible full time job; my hours are broken up which allows me to be more available to make visits with convenience. I can walk/play with your pet(s) as you desire or as needed! About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life. I have had 3 golden doodles throughout my life, and my brother currently has a puppy that I help care for. I currently have two dogs at home and they are my best friends! I have also dog sat a good bit for dogs of all sizes. I am missing my dogs at college and would love to care for your dogs! I am a student at the University of Alabama, with classes from 11-3 Monday-Thursday. I am able to care for your pets most of the time outside of that window, including in the morning. I live in a house with three friends who are also big dog people. I am also able to drive to your house and provide care to your dogs there. I am flexible with timing and can make multiple visits a day.

We found April while in Tuscaloosa and I can't say enough good things about the experience our dog had. She made our pup feel like she was part of her house.
