“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 10 plus years. You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.
About: Ever since I was 6 years old I’ve had an unusual connection with dogs. They are my world. For some reason they always seem to find me. I’m the person you see on the highway going after a lost dog. I’ve had 6 dogs at once before. I can’t seem to say no to dogs needing a home. It’s my happiness. About: I've been a dog and cat lover ever since I can remember. When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian, so when I was old enough I would volunteer at shelters and at the local veterinary clinic every chance I got. Family members and friends of my family would have me watch their dog or cat every now and then and I'd always go above and beyond for them! I'm currently not working so I will be home most of the time during the week. My 12 year old daughter is very active in taking care of our puppy, Lucie, so I'm certain she would be a helping hand in taking care of any other pets that come into our home for care. I have a huge fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pups to run some energy off in, decorated with more than a dozen toys, sticks and tennis balls to keep them occupied for hours on end. I am also experienced with kennels as well, but I do not currently have any at my house so that would have to be provided by you if that's what you prefer. I have lots of experience with animals that have separation anxiety, too. Also, I do have a female chestnut colored Labrador retriever who is just under a year old and still very much has that puppy mentality and is extremely energetic.

About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. This includes any kind of worms/parasites that could be spread. We strive to provide a clean and safe environment for our clients. We mop floors, clean crates, wash food and water bowls and remove fecal matter daily. A cleaning fee staring at $50 may apply to any sick animals.

About: In my life I have had many dog sitting experiences, I have my own dogs & cats! I have watched dogs as small as 10 pounds to dogs as big as 80 pounds or over, I have a very special place in my heart for any & all animals! I've owned many different breeds from large to small, my current dogs are all rescues from Hawaii giving them a beautiful life here in Alabama giving them loves hugs and kisses every day. Im retired so im available morning afternoons and nights plus overnight if needed. Always following schedules or routines food, water meds walks or playtime for sure. Keeping your fur babies are safe and plenty of rubs and love. At my home I always check my gates and fence line for safety. I always go out with them for safety, walks and playtime. Separate or rotate pets at feeding time if needed and treat time. I ask about your house rules and follow the instructions for any special needs for each pet, food mediation walks. I always double check gates locks making sure everything is secure before leaving.

About: my entire life i’ve grown up around animals! since i was 10, i was walking my childhood lab around on a leash. i worked as a dog groomer for 2 years and i have a huge passion for anything pet related, especially what makes them happiest. anytime spent around animals is when im most comfortable, no matter how difficult the task may be. I’m completely free on Tuesdays, so I have no problem with taking care of your pups all day if needed! I work every other day, but I wanted to find time to helps pets on top of everything else! I’m a very athletic person, and have no problem taking your fur baby on lengthy walks, or to parks if wanted. Particularly difficult paths or uphill walks are no issue for me!

My first pet fully on my own was a chinchilla named Chee who I got my sophomore year of college and since then, the pets have only grown. I currently have two large breed dogs. Bo is a 3-year-old belgian malinios mix and Bailey is a 1-year-old German Shepard. I am a licensed pharmacist who has recently cut back to part-time and I began looking for a non-healthcare way to spend my time. I am very good at following instructions, and I also understand that pets need more than just a quick check up. I genuinely love animals and I would treat them like they are my own. About: I've been a dog and cat lover ever since I can remember. When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian, so when I was old enough I would volunteer at shelters and at the local veterinary clinic every chance I got. Family members and friends of my family would have me watch their dog or cat every now and then and I'd always go above and beyond for them! I'm currently not working so I will be home most of the time during the week. My 12 year old daughter is very active in taking care of our puppy, Lucie, so I'm certain she would be a helping hand in taking care of any other pets that come into our home for care. I have a huge fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pups to run some energy off in, decorated with more than a dozen toys, sticks and tennis balls to keep them occupied for hours on end. I am also experienced with kennels as well, but I do not currently have any at my house so that would have to be provided by you if that's what you prefer. I have lots of experience with animals that have separation anxiety, too. Also, I do have a female chestnut colored Labrador retriever who is just under a year old and still very much has that puppy mentality and is extremely energetic.

“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
