“Our mini dachshund can be a challenge because he is older, and a bit of a loner. He isn’t around a lot of other animals and that can also make knowing how he will react a bit of a challenge. Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down. Thomas was very patient with him and let Snick become more acquainted with him and with the yard. He sent me pictures throughout the stay to update me on how he was doing and what he was up to. Thomas made me feel much more relaxed and confident that Snicklefritz was doing well. We will certainly rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve lived in a multiple animal household my whole life. Now I have 3 pups of my own and 2 outdoor cats that come first. I work full-time but am available before 8 am, lunch break from 12-1, and after 5 pm through the week and all day during weekends I have a fenced in yard. Dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please, roam common areas, and take naps wherever, whenever.

About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.

My dogs are crate trained and allowed free range of the fenced in backyard with my supervision for “zoomie” time every 2-4 hours. Potty breaks every 90 minutes unless an animal requests one sooner. “Destiny cat sat our cat while we were out of town for 10 days. She came over daily to feed our cat, play with her, and keep her company. She left our home spotless and even washed the cat bowl and swept up the cat litter that our cat kicks out of her litter box before our return. She also send us videos and pictures regularly so our minds were put to ease that our cat was taken care of back home. I boarded Jasper with him for a night, and since it was my first time leaving Jasper overnight I was nervous — but Thomas put me completely at ease. The experience was so great that I brought Jasper back again for daycare, and once again it went perfectly. About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was a young child! Even when I was barely four feet tall, I delighted in taking care of, feeding, walking, and of course playing with our pups! And now as an adult, I have 2 rescue dogs that I have trained up and loved on (one a senior dog and one a puppy). Caring for dogs truly gives me joy and allows me to pour into others and give back. We don’t deserve dogs, but I sure am grateful we get to share our lives with them! I work full time from home and have complete flexibility with my work schedule. Leaves me time to feed the dogs, let the dogs out in the back yard, and ample amount of play time! I have a fully fenced in back yard with over half an acre for the dogs to play. The outdoor space has ample amount of grass with plenty of squirrels to chase.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 15. I not only have 2 of my own but have pet sat for multiple family and friends and can provide references if needed. Everyone of them have allowed me to love on their babies and have been pleased with the care they received. I am a stay at home mom so I will be able to spend plenty of time with your babies. I currently do not have a fenced in yard, but have multiple tether setups and/or long line leashes to walk dogs on and let them roam a bit while controlled. My 2 dogs are males who are friendly with others and love to play outside in the backyard. Since I am home during the day, all animals get lots of cuddles in my house (allowed on furniture) and constant interaction of bones, toys, tug of war, toys etc. I do have separate areas that dogs can be crated in alone if preferred. I do also have 2 cats that are dog friendly but have their own room they can be closed off in if needed.

I am comfortable providing oral medications and anything else that your pet may need. My farm family consists two German shorthaired pointers, 1 indoor cat, 3 outdoor cats, a herd of 40 sheep, and 2 Great Pyrenees that protect my sheep. I have extensive experience caring for a variety of different animals and personalities. You can rest assured that your pets will be treated as if they were my own. You’re furry friends are welcome to sleep on my couches, beds, or cuddle up with one of my furry friends. However, if you’re pet prefers a crate or needs their own area to decompress, I have multiple rooms and crates in my house to accommodate their needs. You will receive daily updates and pictures of your pets. I’m committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. I currently work away from home 7-3pm Monday-Thursday and 7-12pm on Fridays. I am open for boarding starting Friday afternoon through Sunday evening. If your pets are out of range for me to travel during my lunch, a second check in can be arranged later in the evening. My hours range from 7a-6p during the weekdays. I have Thursdays and have Sundays off. Instructions provided by owners are strictly followed. Details of how they are cared for in your home depends on the service chosen by owner. Communication is key between owner and sitter! Meetings are usually scheduled before a booking begins.

I'm available in the evenings or if we have an appointment scheduled ahead of time I do client training as well . I have 2 other jobs, I'm a touring musician, and the other is a local part time gig I'm very patient and very watchful of dogs under my care never letting them out of my sight I'd rather hang with a bunch of dogs any day than pretty much anybody else

Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down. Thomas was very patient with him and let Snick become more acquainted with him and with the yard. He sent me pictures throughout the stay to update me on how he was doing and what he was up to. About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.
