About: Hello, my name is Taylor M! I am a young professional in the local Fairbanks area. After having to say good by to my senior companion of 4 years(a loving basset named April) I spent a few years unable to take in a companion of my own. Instead I began to help care for the companions in my area as their parents needed! ☺️ I now have two pets of my own- two tortishell cats named Fawkes and Cheddar. Theh tolerates dogs in the home but prefers to have our cabin to themselves. Due to this I limit dog care in my own home, but am able to house and dog sit elsewhere. Located on the East side, but could pop in anywhere in the Fairbanks area. I enjoy running and staying active, would love to take your pup for a run! Reasons I love animals: - Unconditional love! - No talking (perfect for an introvert such as myself!) - The happy look dogs get on their face as they're running! - The feeling of acceptance one gets when a cat makes an active choice to sit in their lap. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries! I do shift work that keeps me busy in the evening, but frees up my week days typically. As I do have a cat of my own now, I tend to pick shorter sitting jobs. If I am ever unable to accept a job I do have other sitters I can recommend. First impressions are everything, right? To ensure your pet trusts and feel comfortable with me and in your home I always coordinate a first meeting in the home with the owner. I have extensive knowledge in vet care including administrating medication, monitoring animals, emergency care, canine massages and snuggles!! Being a kennel owner, I am responsible for creating meal plans - keeping each dog at a healthy weight. Training and exercise plans - assuring each dog gets the right amount of exercise per day and creating “jobs” for the dogs who need that extra task. House training - training pets (specifically sled dogs) to make the transition into living in a house! While I cannot bring pets to my house, I am willing to travel for your pets in order to make each one as comfortable as possible while the owner is gone! About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

I work “bankers hours” so I am free on nights and some weekends depending on my schedule and previous commitments but generally plenty of free time. I love snuggling with animals! My long time partner Tim has been helping me with sits since I started working days again. This makes it so your animals can have help if I am having a long work day. It also makes walks easier if you have more than 2 dogs that need walking at the same time! And provides ample play time in case I have to work on my computer. If I intend to have him help on a sit I will tell you beforehand and make sure you get the opportunity to meet each other!
About: Veterinary Technician since 1998 specializing in dogs, horses, large animal, exotics, special needs, and large properties! I've been pet sitting as a side gig since becoming a Vet Tech in 1998. Then I was a full time pet sitter across the country from 2006 through 2020. We've always had animals and I grew up around a lot of horses. I have an animal nutrition degree and animal behavior degree, setting me apart of from many other sitters. I also have a cohort sometimes, my Mother, she likes to join me on hikes when in town visiting. I split time between Aurora season in Fairbanks, and Bear Viewing season in Homer, Alaska. In fairbanks I work nights doing aurora tours and photography... generally 3 or 4 nights per week, from 9pm to 3am, about 6 hours. From September through December I usually work 3 nights per week. In Homer I work 6 days per week from 6am to 3pm, June through August. Otherwise, I'm a homebody, happy to be where the Furry critters are! All of my jobs are pet friendly, so special pet needs can be accommodated. In Fairbanks with minor exceptions, I would come to your home! My landlord is dog friendly, as a foster home for dogs themselves, but the property is not super dog friendly without a fenced yard. I'm happy to drive within 100 miles of Fairbanks to come and care for your loved ones.

About: Ten years as a veterinary doctor, lifetime as an animal lover and guardian. Friends and clients describe me as someone who brings a calm, genuine warmth to every interaction. I enjoy both the quiet process of connecting with anxious pets and the exciting challenge of keeping active working dogs gainfully employed. I set my availability to coordinate with days when I am not on shift, so I will be home full-time and adaptable to your furry/feathered/scaled friend's schedule during their stay. For my own pup, I usually dedicate a total of one hour to training (split into a few dispersed sessions throughout the day) and 1-2 hours for exercise and adventures, in addition to potty walks. I am happy to provide the same for my guests, adjusted as needed to accommodate their individual needs. My home is on 5 acres at the end of a road in the hills. The area is very quiet, however I keep my guests on-leash for safety, as the yard is not fenced. I am happy to care for pets who have special needs, including administration of medications prescribed by your veterinarian. While I do not offer primary veterinary care to my boarding guests, my credentials and experience provide the assurance that your friend is in uniquely capable hands in the event of an emergency.

About: I am a stay at home mom to 3 human children, and we all enjoy having more pets to love on at our home, or your home! I am a stay at home mom and will be home Majority of the day other than when I have to do pick up/drop off. I have a fenced in yard for animals to go potty/ sun bathe in the summer. About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.
