About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals/pets; from growing up with goats and horses, to dog-sitting and cat-sitting for my neighbors as a pre-teen and into my 20s. I always enjoy bonding and providing quality care for humans’ best friends! I currently work full time (8-3:30pm) M-F, but I live close to my work, so I can be home midday for my lunch break. I have a lot of free time in the afternoon/evening to play and bond with the animals. I also have full availability on the weekends. I do not have any other pets currently at my home, I live in a neighborhood that is close to the park, so we can walk there easily and safely get some exercise!

About: I grew up on a farm in southwest Minnesota and have had dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve cared for everything from puppies and kittens to senior and special needs pets, along with foster animals. I’m comfortable giving medications, working on basic training, and following whatever routine your pet is used to. I’m a full-time, year-round Ketchikan resident and available for house sitting, drop-ins, walks, and other pet care. I’m especially happy to stay with pets in their own home, where they’re comfortable and can keep as much of their normal routine as possible. Most of my experience is with dogs and cats, but I’m open to caring for just about any animal. If you have something other than a dog or cat, just ask! Give me the rundown on what they need and I’m happy to learn. I know leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so communication is completely up to you. If you want a ridiculous number of pictures and videos, I’m your person. If you’d rather just hear from me when there’s something you need to know, I can do that too.

I work full-time during the week, but I’m a year-round Ketchikan resident and have plenty of flexibility outside of my workday. I’m available for walks and drop-ins before or after work, evenings, weekends, and overnight house sitting. When I’m house sitting, I’m happy to spend my downtime at your home so your pets have plenty of company and can stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. If your pet has specific timing or needs, just let me know. I’m happy to talk through their routine and make sure my schedule is a good fit before you book. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. When I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll respect your space and keep their routine as close to normal as possible. I’m comfortable with feeding, exercise, medications, and any special instructions you have. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I want things to feel as normal as possible for them while you’re away. I’ll follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines, along with any other instructions you leave for me. I’m respectful of your home and take both your pet’s safety and the security of your home seriously. I’m comfortable with detailed instructions, medications, special needs, and pets who may need a little extra time to get comfortable with someone new. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away. If you want lots of pictures, videos, and updates, I’m happy to send them. If you’re more of a “no news is good news” person, that works for me too.
