My dog was so happy when I came to pick him up; he didn’t want to leave Crystal! This is now the ONLY place my dogs will go when I have to be away from them!! About: I’ve taken care of neighbors and friends dogs for years! i love going over and meeting new dogs and playing and. taking care of them! I am in college currently but have plenty of free time to watch and play with animals! Most my classes are online so the longest I would have to be away would be 2 hours! I have a fully fenced yard and allow dogs in my home! I can’t wait to have your dogs over and take care of them!
About: I am a currently working for the Forest Service in Alaska and I have had pets my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs and have lived with and cared for many cats throughout my life. My work schedule is 7am-5:30 Monday through Thursday and when I work weekends at my second job I work typically 8-5pm my second job ends Sept 13th I do not currently have any pets due to communal housing so your pets would be getting my sole attention when I’m sitting for them!

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

I grew up with two big dogs, have had dogs of my own, and am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, including seniors who might need a little extra patience and care. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I have a 1 year old puppy named Tilly and a 14 year old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or curl up on the couch for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of attention and care while staying with me. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday. Friday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks!! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dogs are friendly, playful, and very accustomed to being around other dogs. I carefully introduce pets with slow introduction so your dog won’t get overwhelmed. I follow each owner’s instructions, and maintain routines as closely as possible. I provide lots of attention, updates, and LOTS of photos throughout their stay!

About: Growing up on a farm instilled a love of animals in me from a young age. I am a true animal lover and prefer the company of animals to many humans ; ) I have experience with most pets from dogs and cats to birds, livestock and horses. I have rescued countless strays, trained many puppies and kittens and the running joke in the family is “if there’s a stray in a five mile radius they end up at Carly’s door”. I work from home so I’m never far whether your pet loves to sit nearby and remain close to me throughout the day or just needs a quiet and restful space, I have them covered. I provide dog beds and cat beds and do my utmost to make your furry friend feel settled in their home away from home. I will soon have a fenced in yard for my cat-friendly dog and four bedrooms for cats if they need a peaceful retreat. I provide fresh, filtered water daily along with meals and of course routine walks/potty breaks/litter box cleaning. If toys are allowed we have plenty to go around!

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. About: We are two dog lovers who can't wait to meet your pup! Living in Girdwood, we have no shortage of fun activities to do with your dog. We usually take the pups on two long walks/hikes, and tons of smaller "outings" throughout the day. Our own dogs, Vito and Savvy, get along with everyone and love having playmates. The pups sleep on the bed, couch or floor - wherever they prefer. I have extensive experience with dog rescues, and have served on the Board of Directors for Southern California's largest and fastest-growing rescue, Labs and More, for two years. We have had 56 foster doggies and love having dog visitors. Our experience includes a multitude of special needs dogs, young puppies and seniors. We have nursed pups with Parvo and Distemper, so understand medical needs. We do have a small staircase (four stairs) to access the our home, so if you have a senior who is restricted to no stairs we may not be a good fit. If your dog has separation anxiety and requires a crate, please let us know in advance! We have a small crate, but generally only use it for small puppies. We have a cat so your dog needs to be good with cats. I work from home full time. I usually take dogs for a long walk in the morning and evening, with smaller jaunts throughout the day. I don't offer house sitting services since I have pets of my own. I have a small, unfenced yard so typically take the dogs for walks in lieu of just letting them in the yard.

I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. They can sleep wherever they choose and will always get plenty of time outdoors ( if they would like). I love walking and will take your pup for as many walks as you would like. My job is very flexible so while dog sitting I will always be at home and with your dog for the entire duration. I know that calmness and kindness are key to reassuring your pup and allowing them to feel happy and comfortable. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. “If you want to feel 100% confident that your pet will receive tons of tender love and care, you should leave your pet with Meghan! She is THE BEST! I will always leave my Trout with her when we travel out of state. She took Trout on walks everyday and took her to dog parks to play. Meghan stayed in touch with us every day for two weeks about Trout's adventures by sending pictures and text messages. When we left Trout the first day, I was so sad to leave her, but Meghan sent me a pic of Trout within a couple of hours and I knew we had found someone very special to take care of our Trout while we were away. Many, many thanks to Meghan for all you did for Trout...you are PAWSOME!!! :)”
