About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. After having to say good by to my senior companion of 4 years(a loving basset named April) I spent a few years unable to take in a companion of my own. Instead I began to help care for the companions in my area as their parents needed! ☺️ I now have two pets of my own- two tortishell cats named Fawkes and Cheddar. Theh tolerates dogs in the home but prefers to have our cabin to themselves. Due to this I limit dog care in my own home, but am able to house and dog sit elsewhere. Located on the East side, but could pop in anywhere in the Fairbanks area. I enjoy running and staying active, would love to take your pup for a run! About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: I have taken care of and grew up with dogs, cats, and many other animals since I was 3 years old. I have volunteered at an animal shelter the past 4 years; walking dogs and taking care of the cats. I frequently watched family and friends cats and dogs, as well as raised multiple animals from kitten/puppy and have years of experience administering meds! As I do my own cat; I will wash bowls daily, clean litter box daily, clean and portion food out daily. With your pup, daily walks/outside time. About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.
About: I adore dogs so much. I have helped raise 4 dogs from puppyhood and I haves cared for senior dogs as well. I have tackled potty training, basic commands, and a few neat tricks. I have a flexible work schedule with a 3 hour lunch break and only about 5 minutes away from home. Your dog is never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! I have several dogs that absolutely love to play with other dogs and would love to meet your dog. Please contact me if interested! I would love to watch your dog while you are away! I am very active with my own dogs and your dog is welcome to join right in! We play tons of fetch, go swimming and hiking, as well as dog sledding and skijoring in the winter. About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.

I work “bankers hours” so I am free on nights and some weekends depending on my schedule and previous commitments but generally plenty of free time. I am always concerned for my own pets health and happiness and do any and everything I can do to make sure they’re living their best life. I will mostly be free for nights and weekends. I don’t usually plan much, especially in the winter, so I have plenty of free time! My cats have plenty of toys and 2 towers to climb on. They are always fed and watered and are always good for a cuddle.
About: I have taken care of dogs, since I was a kid. Always enjoyed hanging out with them, going on walks, playing fetch, or even trying to teach them tricks! I am currently not working due to a back injury, so pretty much any day I am available. Just not able to bring any pets to where I live because I live at a fire station. About: I have taken care of my family and friends fur babies for two years both in my home and at their home. They entrusted me to feed and walk them while they were away. Additionally, there are discounts provided for two or more pets to be cared for and loved during your time away. Dog bathing is provided for an additional fee, if interested, in the comfort of your home so your pets are refreshed before you arrive home to them. My time at home has allowed me to love and care for my own animals, but to also provide a loving and nurturing environment for yours as well while in my care. Safety is number one in our home! Additionally, I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own to easily make your fur baby feel welcomed, loved, and cared during their time with us. Please understand that I do not stay in the home of others due to that I have animals of my own that need their mama home to take care of them and assist with their needs, but I am still available for house visits upon requests.
About: I have owned and/or fostered between 1 and 6 doggos since 2005 with farm animal experience growing up. I’ve raised chickens, cows, ducks and geese, so working with unusual pets would make me incredibly happy. Im available for drop ins, overnight care, house-sitting, and possibly boarding depending on the dog and time line. I have Holiday availability for house sitting, drop ins, overnights, and walks. Very dependable with availability on calendar kept up to date. My schedule changes occasionally but the calendar for availability is up to date. If you’re in a pinch or need a day that shows as busy, let me know and I may be able to accommodate you. I believe in consent for people, animals, children, and I let my dogs tell me what they’re up for. For instance, I’ve clipped their nails since they were babies and they come running when they see the nippers come out because that signals treats. But I’ll let them choose that interaction and if they need a break or want to call it a day after one paw, they get to jump out of my lap and walk it off at any time. Your pets will be treated with respect and never forced into a a situation they don’t opt into. I’d love to become their friend and second favorite person :)

I watch all cats and medium, large, and extra large dog breeds. My favorite dog breeds include: Lab, Golden Retriever, English Springer Spaniel, Welsh Corgi, Siberian Husky, AK Husky, Husky mixes, Malamute, Malamute mixes, German Shepherd, Shepherd mixes, Belgian Malinois, Australian Shepherd, Caucasian Shepherd, Yakutian Laika, Laika mixes, Chow, Samoyed, Shiba Inu, Akita, Great Pyrenees I do not watch small breeds unless they are mixed with Husky, i.e. Pomsky. I like some Pomeranians and smaller spitzes. I also love rabbits and had a pet rabbit for several years. I do not prefer Poodles or Poodle mixes, with the exception of my friend's large black and very intelligent Standard Poodle and some Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. I appreciate a strong coffee or tea and the occasional craft beer or wine. I do not smoke or vaporize anything, ever, so your home will be smoke-free. I do not have any pets of my own now. I do not currently have military or base clearance. I prefer written instructions via paper, e-mail, or text for anything specific or detailed. All rates open to negotiation. About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, and they have taught me so much about how to love and care for humans and animals alike. I have 4 dogs of my own that all have independent needs I attend to, one of which was a rescue from the shelter and required extensive training to help her be a functioning member of dog society. She now roams off leash on hikes and doesn’t cower at the sight of a new human. Through her training journey I learned to love the act of dog training and the bond it creates as well as fully understand that every dog needs different things. I would love to care for your animals needs whatever they may be, and if you have training needs I would love to help with that as well! I love to take my dogs on adventures on the nearby trails and would give your dogs the same mental and physical fulfillment they need while they are with me. I work as a scientist for the Army Corps doing Arctic climate science. I have a physical office, but work from home the majority of the time. If I go into the office, it is only for a half day. My partner works from home full time so there will almost always be someone home to care for your pet. I have 4 dogs in my home, and occasional foster dogs. They are all well behaved and love to meet other dogs to play with. I do not have a fenced in yard, so if your dog is not great with recall I will take them out on a leash. I have a tie out in the yard so they can play in the yard as well. I prefer to crate dogs when we’re away from the house, but if you trust your dog out that is fine with me. I can work with you for any special rules or routines you’d like me to implement while your animals are in my care.
