I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. I have been dedicated to animal care from a young age, always showing a strong passion for helping animals in need. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. I continued fostering dogs until 2018, by which point I was caring for five of my own, along with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and other animals. Additionally, I volunteered and worked at an animal sanctuary specializing in behavioral modification training, focusing on rehabilitating dogs with the most challenging backgrounds. About: Hello, my name is Taylor M! I am a young professional in the local Fairbanks area. After having to say good by to my senior companion of 4 years(a loving basset named April) I spent a few years unable to take in a companion of my own. Instead I began to help care for the companions in my area as their parents needed! ☺️ I now have two pets of my own- two tortishell cats named Fawkes and Cheddar. Theh tolerates dogs in the home but prefers to have our cabin to themselves. Due to this I limit dog care in my own home, but am able to house and dog sit elsewhere. Located on the East side, but could pop in anywhere in the Fairbanks area. I enjoy running and staying active, would love to take your pup for a run! Reasons I love animals: - Unconditional love! - No talking (perfect for an introvert such as myself!) - The happy look dogs get on their face as they're running! - The feeling of acceptance one gets when a cat makes an active choice to sit in their lap. About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

I’ve also cared for toy breeds, including feeding, walking, and administering oral medications. I am currently not working, so I am able to stop by almost any time of day. I prefer to have Friday evenings off but am willing to accommodate if I am given a few days notice. I have experience staying overnight at friends and family’s homes while taking care for their pets, and have no issue staying up late or waking early for a pet’s needs. I also welcome lots of playtime or snuggles if needed.

We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! About: I have taken care of dogs, since I was a kid. Always enjoyed hanging out with them, going on walks, playing fetch, or even trying to teach them tricks! I am currently not working due to a back injury, so pretty much any day I am available. Just not able to bring any pets to where I live because I live at a fire station. About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, and they have taught me so much about how to love and care for humans and animals alike. They are all well behaved and love to meet other dogs to play with. I do not have a fenced in yard, so if your dog is not great with recall I will take them out on a leash. About: I adore dogs so much. I have helped raise 4 dogs from puppyhood and I haves cared for senior dogs as well. I have tackled potty training, basic commands, and a few neat tricks. I do not have a fenced yard but will be outside with your pups while they are at all times. If you are most comfortable with them remaining on-leash, I will happily leash-walk them for potty breaks.
