“Rhonda was amazing! My baby is a rescue with some behavioral issues and severe separation anxiety. He’s a very energetic dog so I was pleased to see he had plenty of exercise. She’s very punctual and thorough with communication. She sent me plenty of photos to update me about how he was doing. I could definitely tell he had a great time!”

“She went above and beyond dealing with our dog’s unexpected medical issues. Very knowledgeable and attentive to his condition. We could not have asked for a better person to watch him and she will be our first choice the next time we go out of town.”

“This is Jojo's second time staying with Weslyn, and once again she has taken awesome care of him and has provided daily updates. She kept me informed and gave Jojo plenty of exercise. I will be booking with her again.”

“They are super a super sweet couple who were kind enough to step up on short notice after the sitter I initially hired had a family emergency. My dog enjoyed her time at their house and all the extra outside time and walks. They administered her medicine with zero issues. We got lots of great updates and photos while we were gone, too! I would definitely book with them again.”

“We are so thankful for the amazing care our dog Mookie received! She accepted our last-minute boarding request and was incredibly communicative, kind, and accommodating from start to finish. She worked around our schedule and even cared for Mookie despite having other plans herself — truly a lifesaver for our family. She kept us updated with pictures, and Mookie looked so content and happy the entire time. When we brought him back, he was genuinely excited to see her again, which says everything about how well he was treated. We would absolutely trust her with Mookie again and highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care!”

“Leslie was amazing! Very communicative and sent us plenty of photos of our sweet Daisy. We had a change in our travel plans and Leslie was flexible and allowed us to extend by 2 days with no issues. She is affordable and incredibly qualified and loving with pets! We will book with her again.”

“Outstanding hosts that took amazing care of my dog! Sent me picture updates and messages every day letting me know she was adjusting great and getting along well with their dog. Highly recommend. Will be requesting them again.”

“What a positive experience. Kristin keeps you posted on your furry kiddo through videos and photos. My boy loved his playtime with her pups and socialized well. She took Indiana Jones on walks and gave him total love and care. I am extremely happy to have used Kristin and will make sure she is my new doggie sitter. Thank you Kristin!”
“My dog was happy when we dropped him off and happy when we picked him up! He looked comfy and right at home in the photos we received. Communication with Tiffany was clear, quick, and friendly, and she was flexible when weather interfered with our travel plans. Would definitely ask her to look after my dog again!”

“Stephanie and Omar were incredible! My dogs can be “a lot” but they gave them all the love and cuddles they needed. I 100% trust them with my monsters and will definitely book with them again!”

About: While I haven't personally owned a cat, I have spent plenty of time around them and am comfortable with all aspects of basic caregiving. In fact, as the owner of a Holland Lop rabbit, I am accustomed to caring for animals that thrive on a quiet environment, routine consistency, and litter box maintenance! Beyond my general comfort with cats, I bring a unique level of professional security to my pet-sitting clients. I recently relocated to Fairbanks from Virginia after earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Radford University. This medical background means I have advanced training in physical handling, positioning, safety, and observant care, which translates beautifully to cat sitting: Respect for Boundaries: I understand that cats like to call the shots. Whether your cat is an affectionate cuddler or an independent spirit who prefers their space, I am patient and will completely respect their comfort levels. Calm & Quiet Environment: I am dedicating a lot of my afternoons and weekends to studying for my upcoming physical therapy board exams. This means I will be a calm, quiet presence in your home—perfect for cats who dislike loud noises or chaotic energy. Detail-Oriented Routine Follower: Because of my clinical training, I am precise with instructions. I will ensure feeding schedules, fresh water routines, and litter box cleaning is handled exactly to your specifications. I treat every animal in my care with the same high level of respect, safety, and love that I give my own fur babies. I can’t wait to look after your pet!

“Mallory is the best! I can quite literally always count on her! My cats love her, and I always feel so reassured that they will be loved and cared for when I’m away. She’s my go-to for any drop in visits! Can’t recommend enough!”

About: I have lived with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and rodents my entire life, and currently have two dogs, two cats, and a leopard gecko. I love hanging out with animals and look forward to meeting your pups and kitties! I have helped take care of various pets for friends and others, including but not limited to, a pair of elderly dachshunds that had various medical needs, a lovely cat who loves to hand out, and I took home the class ferret nearly every weekend during my senior year. I am very familiar with administering medicine orally to both cats and dogs, and I have provided shots in the past. I personally had to care for my own dog that needed major surgery, and am familiar with animal's warnings and limits. I currently work part-time on an every other week schedule, but can take care of animals between shifts as needed. My husband and I split the care for our pets and make sure all of them get the proper playtime and food they individually need. I follow all instructions provided by the owner and always meet new animals before the owner leaves so that they are familiar with me. I provide food, play with the pets for a bit, and any other requests while in the home.

“Ashley was awesome with our cats!! Very communicative and also flexible with our schedule! She sent pics and updates throughout our vacation. We had no worries at all while we were away and she took great care of our home! She will be our go to for pet sitting in the future. 😊”

About: Please read through my whole profile and make sure I am the correct fit for your pet! I have been dedicated to animal care from a young age, always showing a strong passion for helping animals in need. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. I continued fostering dogs until 2018, by which point I was caring for five of my own, along with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and other animals. Additionally, I volunteered and worked at an animal sanctuary specializing in behavioral modification training, focusing on rehabilitating dogs with the most challenging backgrounds. I am currently employed full-time, working 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I base my life around the well being of my companion! I love my dog and his happiness means everything to me. I currently work M-Thurs 10-hour day shifts. I walk my dog on a leash, unless im in an area that is safe for him to be off leash (Chena or Tanan Lake areas.) I do take my dog to the dog park for some socialization as i believe it is very important to keep him social with other dogs and humans. My dog does sleep on my bed. As far as taking care of clients pets, I will respect their wishes with how they want their loved one taken care of.

About: I have had cats and taken care of cats my entire life. Clean litter boxes are absolutely crucial to the health and well being of cats. Cats are generally clean creatures, and they expect their home to be clean. I make that happen. I have experience with medications, but not administering shots.

“Even with very short notice and my elder cat being fresh out of medical emergency and needing special care, Jodi jumped right on board and took great care of cat for four nights. She communicated daily and followed all instructions closely. My cat was very content and I could tell she was well-cared for when I returned. Jodi also left my apartment as tidy as she found it! I would hire her again :)”

About: I have had cats since as long as I can remember. Recently, cat adoption led me to love them more and I have enjoyed spending more time with my Zelda, making sure she is well-taken care of and loved than before. My ultimate goal is to share that love for Zelda with your cat and to make sure he/she is taken care of with zero worries while you’re away. I have extensive cat litter cleaning experience, knowledge in weight management for a healthy lifestyle more time for cuddles with your beloved cat. My ultimate goal is a worry-free environment during your time away while providing care.

About: I love taking care of cats. My friends and family fully entrust me in the care of their feline babies. I just love getting to know them and their individual personalities. I've had ones that are so loving and affectionate and I've also had the independent ones that are content to coexist with you, but everything must be on their terms. One time I was cat sitting for a friend while she was on vacation. I immediately noticed when he wasn’t feeling well and was very lethargic. We lived in a very remote area with the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. I noticed swelling on the top of his head. I was pretty sure it was an abscess. I dug into my background as a medical assistant and was able to gently apply pressure and extract the thick fluid. As soon as I cleared out the infection area, he was back to his normal self. To this day my friend tells the story of how I performed “emergency surgery” on her little friend. While I absolutely realize the number one option is care from a veterinarian, in a pinch, you do what you have to do and he was getting worse and worse each time I checked in on him.

“Tiffany is amazing! She took great care of our two puppies. They had a fun time playing with her sweet dog Barbara too. She was also a great communicator. Highly recommend!”

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

“Jade is amazing and very patient with my very high energy Italian Greyhound and equally patient with my non-energetic Min Pin. :) The boys always come back to me happy and tired which works well for me! :)”

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pup as he looks at you with those eyes as you walk through the door You know the look I'm talking about. Whether you're leaving for the day or a whole week, I would love to hang out with your pup during your time away and give him or her their daily walks, cuddles, playtime, or whatever else they may need. I also offer baths to boarders before you pick them up, and depending on pup, nail trims! Be sure to specify when booking if interested! Ask about available puppy training if interested! (Available through board and train, or weekend hourly care!) My previous work experience includes working at a doggie daycare center for 2 years, overseeing playtime, swim time, bath time, feeding, and setting up for overnight stays. Through this company I often brought home client's dogs for overnight stays if they did not want their dog staying on the facility campus overnight. I also worked as a veterinary receptionist, quickly moving up within a year, to a manager position. While here I learned a lot about pet diseases, how to best care for them, appropriately administer medications, as well as be able to quickly recognize any problems that may arise in terms of a pets health. I have had dogs since I was a little girl, and currently share my home with an old pittie mix and an energetic malmute puppy! I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and look forward to meeting yours! References available! I With 3 younger kids at home our house is full of energy! My husband and I strive to get the pups out on a walk atleast 1-2 times a day, weather permitting during winter. My kiddos LOVE playing fetch, wrestling, or just snuggling with our client pups, and often enjoy helping feed or tiring them out every day! -Boarding dogs will be kept separate during feeding events (whether on a separate floor of the house, or in a dog crate during feeding time) to prevent altercations between pups. -We have a fenced in 'potty' yard for the pups, otherwise dogs will be leashed when hanging out outside with us or going on a walk. Repeat client pups may be kept off leash after comfortability has been determined and owners have agreed and are comfortable.

About: I’m an adoptive dog mom of an almost 12 year pit mix. I’ve fostered many dogs though the years. I’ve taken care of farm animals, family and friends pets, and enjoy animals so much. I currently have 11 chickens along with my furry baby boy, Dozer. I was in the medical field for over 7 years and enjoyed the therapy aspect of animal connection with my patients! It is truly amazing the peace an animal can bring to a weary heart and I’m so appreciative for the furry beings that enrich our daily lives. I’m a military spouse and have never met an animal I didn’t like. Even took care of a squirrel for a short period of time. I have open availability, currently. Looking to fill my time with wiggly butts and happy faces! I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation for work. I live on over an acre that is heavily wooded around the perimeter. My dog receives twice daily sprinting and ball catching episodes outside, where he is allowed to play until he is tired.

I've had the pleasure of helping out 20 different Fairbanks families so far and look forward to growing that circle soon! I have a very friendly Border Collie who I am training to eventually compete in agility competitions, as well as other canine sports and activities. I am looking forward to making connections with other pet parents here in the Fairbanks area, and hope that you will let me care for your pet! References can be made available upon request! I have experience caring for the following: Dogs (including several dog sled teams of 15+ dogs) Cats Horses Goats Chickens Ducks/geese Rabbits Guinea pigs/rats/mice/etc Fish Birds Chinchillas Reptiles/Amphibians August through April is my 'off season' from my remote fieldwork, meaning I have ample time to dedicate to house/pet sitting when back in town. I don’t usually plan much, especially in the winter, so I have plenty of free time! My cats have plenty of toys and 2 towers to climb on. They are always fed and watered and are always good for a cuddle.
“We booked Alana while traveling to the KOA in Fairbanks. Did a pre-meet with Alana the day before our scheduled walks. Alana was very friendly and knowledgeable about dogs. She came 2 days to take our dog out for a walk while we were on tours in the area. She was easy to contact, communicated very well, and even sent pics and the walk they did with notes! Great experience! We would use Alana again if in the area!”

My pup Is looking for new friends
About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.
About: Growing up, I took care of two medium husky mixed dogs. I would walk, feed, and care for them for the 5 years that they lived in our home. In high school and college, I periodically dog sat and cared for cats of family friends. I have always loved the company of animals and have experience with all sizes and ages. In my senior year, I cared for an elderly dog who was blind. It was so rewarding to help this dog in its final years of life. I now own 2 cats and I love every minute I get to spend with them. I take very seriously the responsibility of caring for animals and have plenty of experience doing so! Currently, I am not attending school so I am completely available for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins at any time in the week! I have no preference for the time of day and am very flexible with my scheduling. I am able to house pets in my own home. I am completely available to do house visits and care for the pets in-home. I love to take walks with dogs to give them adequate exercise. I am very respectful when entering client homes and would give as much time as needed to keep pets company and give affection while you are away from the home.
About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.
About: I have taken care of my family and friends fur babies for two years both in my home and at their home. They entrusted me to feed and walk them while they were away. Additionally, there are discounts provided for two or more pets to be cared for and loved during your time away. Dog bathing is provided for an additional fee, if interested, in the comfort of your home so your pets are refreshed before you arrive home to them. My time at home has allowed me to love and care for my own animals, but to also provide a loving and nurturing environment for yours as well while in my care. Safety is number one in our home! Additionally, I have a fenced in yard and two dogs of my own to easily make your fur baby feel welcomed, loved, and cared during their time with us. Please understand that I do not stay in the home of others due to that I have animals of my own that need their mama home to take care of them and assist with their needs, but I am still available for house visits upon requests.
About: I have 2 years of dog sitting for my neighbor when I was in high school. I watched my friends’ cat periodically while they were on vacation. I took care of my friends’ three big dogs it was challenging but a blast! I love brushing, playing, and most of all running! I would play with my aunt’s dog tank, outside for hours at a time. He was a very high energy dog which I love. I am currently in the army stationed at fort wainwright AK. I’m available everyday besides scheduled field problems. Sometimes duty calls and I have to come later or even earlier but I’ll you know in advance. I feed my kitties twice a day and give them fresh, filtered water every day. Most importantly, I give them the attention they crave every single day. We try to buy new toys for our little fur kiddos every month. Our apartment is open for them to run and play with each other. Hazardous chemicals such as windex, and Clorox etc. are put away where the fur balls cannot access them. I brush them both once a week and the most stinky part, the litter gets scooped once a day every day!! As for dogs, I love taking care of them, many of my family members have dogs that I love to play with and wear out. If I had a dog of my own I would be playing outside with them for hours a day but making sure they are happy and healthy by paying attention to their needs and emotions.
About: I have been taken care of dogs and puppies for 30 years. I am the first person they call when the dogs need walked, bathed or just loved on I am currently active military but will be retiring on 1 May. After that time I will have daily availability, minus one day a week. I have two dogs that are dog friendly and I walk them daily and they are on a leash when I let them out side.

“She was great! Kept us in the loop, sent pictures and updates! Very flexible with drop off and pick up to work around our schedules! It was a wonderful experience and will definitely use her in the future!!!”

“Londyn is a wonderful sitter! She and her dog Onyx welcomed my pup into their home and gave him the time he needed to adjust and relax before I departed. She gave a few updates through the duration of his stay and included a couple of pictures each time. Londyn helped us to feel at ease while she watched our pup and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Should we need a sitter again she will definitely be our first choice!”

“Andrea was awesome! We booked with her for a few days and didn’t have any issues. She communicated quickly and consistently kept us updated as well provided pictures. She was also very flexible with the drop off/ pickup times. I would definitely recommend her”
