About: Ive had pets my whole life, from large to small. Ive taken care of puppies 6+ weeks old and elderly dogs as well. High energy or couch potatoes I’ve had them all! Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.

About: I have lived with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and rodents my entire life, and currently have two dogs, two cats, and a leopard gecko. I love hanging out with animals and look forward to meeting your pups and kitties! I have helped take care of various pets for friends and others, including but not limited to, a pair of elderly dachshunds that had various medical needs, a lovely cat who loves to hand out, and I took home the class ferret nearly every weekend during my senior year. I am very familiar with administering medicine orally to both cats and dogs, and I have provided shots in the past. I personally had to care for my own dog that needed major surgery, and am familiar with animal's warnings and limits. I currently work part-time on an every other week schedule, but can take care of animals between shifts as needed. My husband and I split the care for our pets and make sure all of them get the proper playtime and food they individually need. I follow all instructions provided by the owner and always meet new animals before the owner leaves so that they are familiar with me. I provide food, play with the pets for a bit, and any other requests while in the home.

I have been dedicated to animal care from a young age, always showing a strong passion for helping animals in need. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. I continued fostering dogs until 2018, by which point I was caring for five of my own, along with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and other animals. Additionally, I volunteered and worked at an animal sanctuary specializing in behavioral modification training, focusing on rehabilitating dogs with the most challenging backgrounds. I am currently employed full-time, working 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I base my life around the well being of my companion! I love my dog and his happiness means everything to me. I currently work M-Thurs 10-hour day shifts. I walk my dog on a leash, unless im in an area that is safe for him to be off leash (Chena or Tanan Lake areas.) I do take my dog to the dog park for some socialization as i believe it is very important to keep him social with other dogs and humans. My dog does sleep on my bed. As far as taking care of clients pets, I will respect their wishes with how they want their loved one taken care of.
About: I love taking care of cats. My friends and family fully entrust me in the care of their feline babies. I just love getting to know them and their individual personalities. I've had ones that are so loving and affectionate and I've also had the independent ones that are content to coexist with you, but everything must be on their terms. One time I was cat sitting for a friend while she was on vacation. I immediately noticed when he wasn’t feeling well and was very lethargic. We lived in a very remote area with the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. I noticed swelling on the top of his head. I was pretty sure it was an abscess. I dug into my background as a medical assistant and was able to gently apply pressure and extract the thick fluid. As soon as I cleared out the infection area, he was back to his normal self. To this day my friend tells the story of how I performed “emergency surgery” on her little friend. While I absolutely realize the number one option is care from a veterinarian, in a pinch, you do what you have to do and he was getting worse and worse each time I checked in on him.

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pup as he looks at you with those eyes as you walk through the door You know the look I'm talking about. Whether you're leaving for the day or a whole week, I would love to hang out with your pup during your time away and give him or her their daily walks, cuddles, playtime, or whatever else they may need. My previous work experience includes working at a doggie daycare center for 2 years, overseeing playtime, swim time, bath time, feeding, and setting up for overnight stays. Through this company I often brought home client's dogs for overnight stays if they did not want their dog staying on the facility campus overnight. I also worked as a veterinary receptionist, quickly moving up within a year, to a manager position. While here I learned a lot about pet diseases, how to best care for them, appropriately administer medications, as well as be able to quickly recognize any problems that may arise in terms of a pets health. About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember and I'm that person that will go out of my way to make sure an animal is happy and content. Family, friends and neighbors fully entrust me with the care and transport of their pets and can rest their minds because they know their pet is in good hands. I send texts, pics and any other updates of how their beloved furry family member is doing while they're away. One time I was watching my friend's senior cat while she was away. We lived in very rural Alaska at the time where the nearest vet was a 3 hour drive. He was fine for the first couple of days, then out of nowhere he became very lethargic. Low energy and wasn't eating. I noticed a rather large, soft lump on his head between his ears which I thought to be an abscess. I reached into my background as a medical assistant and decided to drain the fluid. Once I did, he jumped back to his old self... purrring, playing, eating. Yes, I know taking him to the vet is the best option, but sometimes you do what needs to be done. While I love both cats and dogs and am willing to care for both, the dog would have to be the right fit. Meaning, due to my injury, I'm not able to go on runs like I used to or long walks. I am currently recovering from an on the job injury, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available most any time aside from my physical therapy appointments once a week. Don't let my injury deter you. I am strong, mobile and more than capable of most activities minus running or long walks. I prefer taking care of pets in the comfort of their home. I am both dependable and reliable as a house/pet sitter or drop in.

I have a flexible working schedule, some days at work need to be in person, some can be distance, so I can stay with customer's pets. At client's home I am following the provided pet dietary guidelines. I am frequently letting the pets out for potty breaks. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.
About: I’ve been a dog owner in the past for many years and enjoy walking dogs, playing fetch or just showing them lots of love! I currently have a dog and 2 cats of my own that my parents watch for me while I’m doing a sitting job. I do have some experience with training and teaching commands if needed. I am not able to have your dog at my apartment but am willing to come to you to help any way I can! I am using this service out to make some extra cash but also to appease my animal loving heart as well! :) Your pet(s) will be in good hands with me! I work “bankers hours” so I am free on nights and some weekends depending on my schedule and previous commitments but generally plenty of free time. I am always concerned for my own pets health and happiness and do any and everything I can do to make sure they’re living their best life. I will mostly be free for nights and weekends. I don’t usually plan much, especially in the winter, so I have plenty of free time! My cats have plenty of toys and 2 towers to climb on. They are always fed and watered and are always good for a cuddle.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life, and am adaptable to any furry friend’s needs. My specialized experience includes caring for a Great Dane on a specialized diet and a blind black Labrador who loved to play fetch. I’ve also cared for toy breeds, including feeding, walking, and administering oral medications. I am currently not working, so I am able to stop by almost any time of day. I prefer to have Friday evenings off but am willing to accommodate if I am given a few days notice. I have experience staying overnight at friends and family’s homes while taking care for their pets, and have no issue staying up late or waking early for a pet’s needs. I also welcome lots of playtime or snuggles if needed.
About: I have 2 years of dog sitting for my neighbor when I was in high school. I watched my friends’ cat periodically while they were on vacation. I took care of my friends’ three big dogs it was challenging but a blast! I love brushing, playing, and most of all running! I would play with my aunt’s dog tank, outside for hours at a time. He was a very high energy dog which I love. I am currently in the army stationed at fort wainwright AK. I’m available everyday besides scheduled field problems. Sometimes duty calls and I have to come later or even earlier but I’ll you know in advance. I feed my kitties twice a day and give them fresh, filtered water every day. Most importantly, I give them the attention they crave every single day. We try to buy new toys for our little fur kiddos every month. Our apartment is open for them to run and play with each other. Hazardous chemicals such as windex, and Clorox etc. are put away where the fur balls cannot access them. I brush them both once a week and the most stinky part, the litter gets scooped once a day every day!! As for dogs, I love taking care of them, many of my family members have dogs that I love to play with and wear out. If I had a dog of my own I would be playing outside with them for hours a day but making sure they are happy and healthy by paying attention to their needs and emotions.
About: I have a dog of my own and we are always looking to have company. He has a lot of energy and is looking for a friend or two. I work from home so I can watch dogs all day long. I just can’t be very entertaining while I’m working but my puppy love to supervise me while I work. My yard is fenced 3 ways so they will be leashes outside in the yard just to be safe.
