About: Tending and caring for animals has always brought me great joy. As a child I developed a deep connection with animals growing up with many dogs, cats and rabbits in our home. I started dog sitting partime in 2017 which grew to cats, chickens, bunnies and house sitting. The care of your animal "s" is my top priority. With younger pups I enjoying working to teach basic commands and rewarding them with treats, physical touch, words of affirmation or continued play. I'm available for 30/60min. drop ins, walks/jogs, hikes, swims, car rides, day time companionship or over nights while you're away. In addition I have experience with special needs pets that require specific medications, bathing and or brushing. My life style is flexible and my availability fluctuates as I travel seasonally. While home in Alaska or traveling I'm able to devote my time and offer my services. I have the availability to offer walks and drop ins while I travel. Any over nights will be considered and would take place at your home after a meet and greet. I will honor your desired care for your pet. **If I sense any animal cruelty it will be reported **

About: I am a current student at Ohio State University home for the summer and I have had pets my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs, one miniature pincher that we rescued when I was young who passed away when I was 12 and a golden retriever/lab mix named Koko that I had for 12 years that passed away last summer. I currently have a German Shepard/chow mix that I’ve had for about 8 years and his name is Colt. Colt is my best friend and I bring him around on adventures all the time. I taught Colt hot to fetch, catch a frisbee, and how to dance with me. I love to hike and think dogs just make hiking experience 1000x better. I also go to the beach almost everyday over the summer and love bringing my dog to the beach. I have a pretty big yard and am looking to spend a lot of time with dogs this summer! My dog at home has been pretty lonely since my other dog Koko died last year so it would also be nice to have other dogs Colt can be around and play with!

I know how much people love and worry about their pets when they’re not home and I’d love to help out, I can’t have a dog of my own because of my job but I love getting to hang out with them. I’m an avid runner and supper active so I love pets who love to play fetch outside or snuggle on the couch. I’ve been the go to pet sitter to my friends and family for years. I have also read lots of books on animals and training and love to try to keep the owners rules for their pets so the experience is great for all involved! I want your pet to be on vacation too while you’re away, so there will be lots of adventures, attention and love. I work from home for the winter season and don’t have any pets myself because of my travel arrangements with my job. But I love dogs and cats and this is the best way for me to get the best of both worlds!! I think that mental stimulation is the key to happy animals. They’re so smart! I love to play games, go for adventures and take them everywhere with me if I can!
