About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, including working at mushing kennels and fostering rescue dogs. During my absence, trust worthy dogs maybe able to sleep on the couch, otherwise they be kenneled or on a dog run in the yard depending on preference. Dogs will have supervised yard time and leash walks, as well as fenced off leash time if suitable. I can feed on any schedule specified.

“Londyn is a wonderful sitter! She and her dog Onyx welcomed my pup into their home and gave him the time he needed to adjust and relax before I departed. Londyn helped us to feel at ease while she watched our pup and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Should we need a sitter again she will definitely be our first choice!”

“Even with very short notice and my elder cat being fresh out of medical emergency and needing special care, Jodi jumped right on board and took great care of cat for four nights. She communicated daily and followed all instructions closely. My cat was very content and I could tell she was well-cared for when I returned. Jodi also left my apartment as tidy as she found it! I would hire her again :)”

About: Please read through my whole profile and make sure I am the correct fit for your pet! I have been dedicated to animal care from a young age, always showing a strong passion for helping animals in need. Over 15 years ago, I began working with rescue dogs while searching for the right dog to adopt. During this time, I adopted my first and third foster dogs, later welcoming a third rescue into my home. I continued fostering dogs until 2018, by which point I was caring for five of my own, along with chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and other animals. Additionally, I volunteered and worked at an animal sanctuary specializing in behavioral modification training, focusing on rehabilitating dogs with the most challenging backgrounds. I am currently employed full-time, working 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I base my life around the well being of my companion! I love my dog and his happiness means everything to me. I currently work M-Thurs 10-hour day shifts. I walk my dog on a leash, unless im in an area that is safe for him to be off leash (Chena or Tanan Lake areas.) I do take my dog to the dog park for some socialization as i believe it is very important to keep him social with other dogs and humans. My dog does sleep on my bed. As far as taking care of clients pets, I will respect their wishes with how they want their loved one taken care of.

“Excellent pet sitter! Weslyn is reliable, caring and kept me updated. My pets were happy and well cared for and I felt completely at ease. I will definitely be booking again!”

About: We have both had pets our entire lives, until recently. Have experience in medication and senior care needs. We have had both cats and dogs in the home. Most of our animals were rescue critters, with various backgrounds. We have not only taken care of our own pets but watched friends critters when they traveled. Currently one of us is retired and will be able to be with your pet all day, except on occasion when we go out or errands. Both of us are home in the evenings and weekends and are also willing to take your pet with for rides or errands, if allowed. We enjoy daily walks. We do not have a fenced yard but a nice area for walking behind the house. Your pet will always be supervised. We can crate your dog, if needed or requested, but otherwise they will have the run of the house.

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pup as he looks at you with those eyes as you walk through the door You know the look I'm talking about. Whether you're leaving for the day or a whole week, I would love to hang out with your pup during your time away and give him or her their daily walks, cuddles, playtime, or whatever else they may need. I also offer baths to boarders before you pick them up, and depending on pup, nail trims! Be sure to specify when booking if interested! Ask about available puppy training if interested! (Available through board and train, or weekend hourly care!) My previous work experience includes working at a doggie daycare center for 2 years, overseeing playtime, swim time, bath time, feeding, and setting up for overnight stays. Through this company I often brought home client's dogs for overnight stays if they did not want their dog staying on the facility campus overnight. I also worked as a veterinary receptionist, quickly moving up within a year, to a manager position. While here I learned a lot about pet diseases, how to best care for them, appropriately administer medications, as well as be able to quickly recognize any problems that may arise in terms of a pets health. I have had dogs since I was a little girl, and currently share my home with an old pittie mix and an energetic malmute puppy! I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and look forward to meeting yours! References available! I With 3 younger kids at home our house is full of energy! My husband and I strive to get the pups out on a walk atleast 1-2 times a day, weather permitting during winter. My kiddos LOVE playing fetch, wrestling, or just snuggling with our client pups, and often enjoy helping feed or tiring them out every day! -Boarding dogs will be kept separate during feeding events (whether on a separate floor of the house, or in a dog crate during feeding time) to prevent altercations between pups. -We have a fenced in 'potty' yard for the pups, otherwise dogs will be leashed when hanging out outside with us or going on a walk. Repeat client pups may be kept off leash after comfortability has been determined and owners have agreed and are comfortable.

About: I’ve been a dog owner in the past for many years and enjoy walking dogs, playing fetch or just showing them lots of love! I currently have a dog and 2 cats of my own that my parents watch for me while I’m doing a sitting job. I do have some experience with training and teaching commands if needed. I am not able to have your dog at my apartment but am willing to come to you to help any way I can! I am using this service out to make some extra cash but also to appease my animal loving heart as well! :) Your pet(s) will be in good hands with me! I work “bankers hours” so I am free on nights and some weekends depending on my schedule and previous commitments but generally plenty of free time. I am always concerned for my own pets health and happiness and do any and everything I can do to make sure they’re living their best life. I will mostly be free for nights and weekends. I don’t usually plan much, especially in the winter, so I have plenty of free time! My cats have plenty of toys and 2 towers to climb on. They are always fed and watered and are always good for a cuddle.
“Mallory was a fantastic dog walker for my pup during a busy week when I couldn't give her all the attention she deserves. Mallory came by to meet Sakura ahead of time and discuss all the details with me. During the walks, she always provided text updates and adorable pictures. She even brought her kids along once and took them all to the playground!!! Thank you so much for your help taking care of my baby when I was busy, going above and beyond to give Sakura fun and fulfilling outings!”

About: I have been dog sitting for people since I was in my early teens. One of my repeat sits was a reactive german shepherd, and his overexcited sister. After the initial few minutes of him getting used to me, we never had a problem. I am confident with both dogs and cats, am able to give medicine, and have a good attitude. I am currently not working, so I would be able to dedicate whatever time necessary fully to whatever pet I am taking care of. My life would revolve around their schedule. I will do potty breaks and playtime based off of what the environment looks like, (ie fenced yard or not, is it -40°). I would do walks exclusively with a leash.
“Nathan and Roxanne were great. They came over and met Buddy the day before. They came and walked him and played with him. I would highly recommend them for anyone who cares for their pet.”

Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or relaxing at home, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. I’m a full-time student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which gives me a flexible schedule with breaks between classes to check in on your beloved pets. When I’m not in class, I’m usually at home studying, so your pets will have plenty of company and won’t be left feeling lonely. Whether they need a quick potty break, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I’m happy to provide attentive, reliable care. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been caring for cats for the past 6 years. “This was my first time ever using Rover, and needed someone to come help take care of my two dogs at a rental house. Not only did Sofia accept on a couple hours notice, but she went so so far above and beyond and went three seperate times to the house, followed instructions perfectly with no questions, and provided absolutely perfect care to my two dogs. She took them on a big walk, fed them dinner, let them out to play, and provided exceptional communication the whole time. I am so impressed and grateful that I was lucky enough to get Sofia’s help today. 10/10, a million stars, and massive tip for her coming. thank you so much, you are a bright star in a dark world.”

About: I grew up in a big animal lover family with all kinds of pets and in turn have always been responsible for my part in taking care of them, starting at a young age. Currently my husband and I only have one adorable cat named Honeybee. We found her as a stray while visiting my home town in Florida. I also attended a veterinary assisting program in high school as well as interned in a veterinary clinic. If you have a sick, older furry friend, or puppies who need a little extra care I have experience with that and don't mind taking those extra steps for their comfort. My husband and I are both active duty military, depending on what shift we are on for that week our schedule can change. But typically we are gone from our house for 9 hours during the week days. The rest of the time we usually are just chilling. If I'm caring for your pet, my attention during my free time will 100% go to them. As someone who has handled a variety of pets and has a cat, I understand that each pet has their own little quirks. Therefore I can easily adapt to any need your fur babies require to make them feel safe and comfortable.

Currently a stay at home with two dogs, one frenchie and one husky mix. I can feed on a strict schedule, take walks, play, anything required has my 100% attention. I have plenty of leashes at my home, do not have a fenced in yard of my own. Dogs can be separated at meal time and potty breaks are often.
About: Hi there! I’m Shaiann and my little sidekick Charlotte (3 years old) want to meet your pet :) I’ve been around animals my entire life. From big or small, hairy or scaly. I have a small sled dog kennel of 10 dogs. 2 retirees who love to play or just chill on the couch. I believe happy dogs are the best dogs and that will always be my goal with your pet. All of my animals are up to date on vaccinations. I’m a full time mom so I’m at home a lot- so your pet will get lots of love & attention from the both of us. I live on a 10 acre property and all my animals are trained to be off leash. Currently building a fenced in yard. The sled dogs stay on chains until I let them off- and the cats mostly stay inside. Not a deal breaker if your dog isn’t off leash trained, I have a long lead or leashes that can be used. I feed twice a day but always have fresh water available. Dogs get lots of potty breaks or play time outside. Sometimes they’ll go on a kick ass adventure like the park, trails to run around and play or some recreational mushing. Overall, I’d treat your pet as if it was my own. We have fun and do things safe.

“She was amazing!! She sent so many pictures and videos of my dogs and was so accommodating and understanding of all the changes that occurred while traveling. My dogs came home so happy and it was obvious they were very loved and cared for while I was away.”

“Julie-Ann and Thomas always take excellent care of our pup! He is treated just like their own and taken on walks and loved on. We always get lots of updates too!”

“She went above and beyond dealing with our dog’s unexpected medical issues. Very knowledgeable and attentive to his condition. We could not have asked for a better person to watch him and she will be our first choice the next time we go out of town.”

“Nathan and Roxanne were fantastic dog sitters for Rex! They kept us fully informed throughout the stay, and you could tell they truly understood and cared for his special needs. Communication was clear and consistent, and Rex seemed happy and comfortable the entire time. We would absolutely use Nathan and Roxanne again!”

“My dog had a blast and learned new things from kaycee's dogs. I am so grateful that she was ale to take my dog at the last minute and was willing to adapt when my flight was delayed.”

“Abigail did awesome with my dog. She took care providing my dog with activities, keeping me updated frequently while I was out of town for work. I will rebook with her and no doubts about it. Highly recommend. Thank you Abigail.”

“Samantha was such a great dog sitter, Abby was sad when she drove off. She sent the cutest pictures, amd kept us up to date. We would be lucky to have her watch our doggos again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life, including working at mushing kennels and fostering rescue dogs. I’m a confident, active and loving dogsitter I work part time through the winter months and have 2 playful friendly dogs of my own. Typically dogs go out in the morning before I leave, get a lunchtime trip outside and will have a longer activity like a walk, swim, or trip to the dog park in the evening. I work about 10 minutes away, so it is easy to run home to check on the dogs. Dogs are welcome anywhere in my home.

She gave a few updates through the duration of his stay and included a couple of pictures each time. Londyn helped us to feel at ease while she watched our pup and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Should we need a sitter again she will definitely be our first choice!”

“Andrea was awesome! We booked with her for a few days and didn’t have any issues. She communicated quickly and consistently kept us updated as well provided pictures. She was also very flexible with the drop off/ pickup times. I would definitely recommend her”
