“Julie was awesome again. Finn had a great time. She always provides lots of pictures and was able to help my puppy through a bought of diarrhea while I was out of town. When I went to open the car door to load Finn up and go home after his stay, he ran back to their front door, sat down, and looked at me wanting to get back to his friends :). I will definitely reserve time with them again when I need it.”

“Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“Jessica sent pictures of maple often and told me he was doing just fine over there. Was flexible with picking up time changed and plan on using her again for next time.”

“Lisa and Jay took awesome care of my girl. Looks like the first day or two was a bit rough, but she quickly realized life was continuing as it always had. I really appreciated all the fun pictures during my travels and I was so relieved not having to worry about her. I’m sorry orca ate all of Lily’s food, she may have gained a pound or two as you said?😉 thank you again for taking such amazing care of my little Sheba.”

“Sarah was amazing! She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Iggy absolutely loved his little vacation! He and her pup, Bunny, got along so well. They were adorable. I’ll definitely be booking with Sarah again!”

“This was the first time we had used rover so didn’t really know what to expect but Kaitlin and John were great from the start. We arranged a meet and greet and we could see our dog Frank was happy as soon as he got there so we booked once we got home. They were very accommodating when we asked to move the drop off time due to flight change, and provided pictures and updates each day. Frank enjoyed his time with their family and we would highly recommend.”

“Zec took great care of our two dogs! He’s very communicative, initiated a meet and greet before the stay to make sure our dogs got along, and sent consistent updates. His dog is a gentle giant and was so patient with our one dog (who has crazy cattle dog energy and doesn’t get along with every dog). They came home tired, happy, and healthy. He even shared some of his homemade salmon dog treats with my pups. Would recommend if you need a reliable sitter.”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. We will definitely be coming back to them for our trips and we highly recommend! Thank you so much!”

“Joseph was taking care of Nikita when his hip injury unexpectedly worsened and did such a wonderful and caring job of both taking care of Nikita and communicating with me. He is te perfect sitter you would want for your pet, truly.”

“Jadae was absolutely amazing with my baby Dozr! She watched him for a day and a half and treated him like part of her family. Her two little girls were so sweet with him, and it was clear he felt comfortable, loved, and well cared for the entire time. Jadae kept me updated, made sure all of his needs were met, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I could tell Dozr was happy, safe, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I highly recommend Jadae to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and loving dog sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Huw& Jolynne are world class. My little pomperanian Suki LOVES them. They take great care and she comes back healthy, happy, and well cared for. When I do repeat stays, my little girl runs to them. I'm really pleased and highly satisfied with Huw & Jolynnes care!!!! Recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“Amanda took amazing care of my senior dog with high anxiety! She was so experienced and patient, and loving with him. He ate better for her than he does for me! I’m so glad to have found the perfect sitter for my special needs boy!”

“Ashlee took amazing care of my dog, Charlie. This was the first time I’d ever used a boarding service, so I was very nervous. Ashlee even sent me pictures of Charlie during her stay. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Ashlee’s care of my puppy. 11/10 highly recommended!”

About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.
“Crystal was amazing with our puppy! She was very attentive and gave wonderful advice for somethings that she noticed with our girl. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter!”

“Prospect was in great company and thoroughly enjoyed his time with Aiko and her family :) Great communicators, flexible with my changing pickup & dropoff times, and my boy was returned to me safe & happy. Would recommend to anyone!”

“Our two boys clearly got some good exercise with Ashley, because George has not stopped booping his leash ever since! Boys were well cared for and we would happily use Ashley again.”

“Sely was super communicative and gave great care to Luna. Was constantly sending updates and photos. Would definitely have Luna stay with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Thanks again”

About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.

“Lauren took wonderful care of our cat, chickens, and plants while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and gave us real peace of mind knowing everything at home was being looked after so well. We came back to a happy cat, well cared for chickens, thriving plants, and a tidy home. We wouldn't hesitate to book Lauren again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Chris and Erica were very professional. They provided photos and updates at every visit. I was unexpectedly also listing my house and had potential buyers stopping by while I was gone They pivoted expectations easily and did not mind adding a few extra request last minute. I would recommend them to my friends.”

About: I have had cats since I was a kid. We have a special and spiritual connection. I love meow-meows and they know it. My current angel, Ponyo, is 17 and has the viviacity of a 2 year old. She was recently diagnosed w/hyperthyroidism and, as such, she takes a pill at breakfst and din-dins. Lovingly administering her pill has become normal. As for past babies, I have given a diabetic cat (Betty) his shots, an asthmatic cat (Hermes) his puffer 2xper day, and even helped my geriatric best friend (Nigel) deal with her brain tumor enduced end-of-life seizures. At every stage of my life, either they have saved me or me them. Let me take care of your babies!
“Amanda has watched my cat on two separate occasions now. She’s a great sitter who obviously cares a lot and has a lot of experience with animals. My kitty always seems happy and well taken care of. She’s quickly becoming my go to sitter!”

“Tynesha took really great care of our home and our babies, even to the point of having to scour the house to find the "hider." But she did it! They were well fed and cared for during our trip. Good and fast communication, she received and stored our package deliveries for us. House was clean and fresh on our arrival back! We are ever grateful for Tynesha's care for all of us! Not having to worry about your home and pets while on leave is a very nice feeling!”

“Sharon has been so patient with our highly anxious dog. It has been awesome to hear updates and progress as Ladybug has transitioned from refusing to come inside to playing with your girls. Sharon has been wonderful with our Bug!”

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

“Zechariah was absolutely amazing with my sweet boy. My dog is usually kind of timid but he warmed right up and had an amazing time. Zechariah was extremely flexible, communicative, and kind when I’d do check ins and spent a lot of time making sure my bazey boy felt happy and loved.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I have a 1 year old puppy named Tilly and a 14 year old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or curl up on the couch for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of attention and care while staying with me. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday. Friday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks!! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dogs are friendly, playful, and very accustomed to being around other dogs. I carefully introduce pets with slow introduction so your dog won’t get overwhelmed. I follow each owner’s instructions, and maintain routines as closely as possible. I provide lots of attention, updates, and LOTS of photos throughout their stay!
“Trey did a wonderful job caring for my pup. I felt lucky to have found someone to watch my dog who is happens to be an excellent trainer! She is patient, skilled and so kind! She walked me through her training series with my dog each step of the way.”

“Mandy took amazing care of my dog Ophelia. I didn't even have to worry. At the end of the day, Ophi was happy and sleepy. Mandy was very responsive and sent awesome photos of Ophi. I WILL be rebooking with her, and I'm so grateful to have found her!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs with different ages, personalities, and needs. I have two dogs of my own, including a senior dog and another who has a lifelong injury requiring extra attention and specialized care. Caring for them has taught me to be patient, observant, and attentive to the little things—whether that means adjusting activities, following specific routines, giving extra time and reassurance, or simply knowing when a dog needs to slow down and rest. I understand that every pet is different, and I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. As a work-from-home professional, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, so your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. I enjoy having pets around while I work and can easily incorporate their needs into my day while still maintaining a reliable routine. Whether your pet needs extra attention, a midday walk, medication reminders, or simply someone nearby, I’m able to provide consistent, loving care. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I provide a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel secure and at home. I’m attentive to their behavior, routines, and individual needs, and I’m careful to maintain a safe environment both inside and outside the home. My goal is simple: when you’re away, you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and receiving plenty of love and attention.
“Ariane was awesome! She was extremely flexible, communicative, and professional. We felt very comfortable leaving our pup, Brody, in her care! She sent lots of pictures and videos to let us know that Brody was having a blast with her and her dog, Nanuk. We were so excited that our little guy made a new best friend, Nanuk, who is so well behaved with such a calm and gentle soul. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!”

“Erica was a great puppy sitter! Easy to communicate with and her home was super clean. Erica gave me some updates which was nice! Would definitely use her again!”

“Rogue loved his stays at Crystals house for doggy day care. She was very responsive, had great communication, provided us with updates and photos throughout the day. He loved playing with the other dogs. The second day we dropped him off he was running up to Crystal like he had a new best friend. Highly recommend and will be using her as a sitter in the future.”

About: Growing up on a farm instilled a love of animals in me from a young age. I am a true animal lover and prefer the company of animals to many humans ; ) I have experience with most pets from dogs and cats to birds, livestock and horses. I have rescued countless strays, trained many puppies and kittens and the running joke in the family is “if there’s a stray in a five mile radius they end up at Carly’s door”. I work from home so I’m never far whether your pet loves to sit nearby and remain close to me throughout the day or just needs a quiet and restful space, I have them covered. I provide dog beds and cat beds and do my utmost to make your furry friend feel settled in their home away from home. I provide fresh, filtered water daily along with meals and of course routine walks/potty breaks/litter box cleaning. If toys are allowed we have plenty to go around!

About: Current medical student with so much motivation to get outside with my dog in between studying. I'm also a professional photographer, so expect lot's of photos of your pup! When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog….but we owned everything except a dog due to our lack of a yard. To solve this, I would knock on my neighbors doors to walk and play with their dogs everyday. Now I can finally live out my hotel for dogs dreams. My rescue dog, Cowboy, would also love a furry friend. He was the dog the shelter used to socialize their dogs and I’m sure he misses it. I hope I can help you out and use the experience I’ve gained from training him and the dogs in my childhood to love and care for your friend! I work from home and have plenty of time to care for your pet. I take my dog on 2 walks a day and spend a lot of time playing, training, and cuddling. I would love to share this time with your pet too. I have a fully enclosed private back yard. Right outside my front door is a short walk to a park and many other walking trails.
“Aubrie and hubby were so lovely with our puppy! They were very flexible and accomodating when I had some pick up drama. Am booking again this week. Highly recommend!”

“Erica was AMAZING!! She was able to help me out last minute when I was out of options and walked my little girl twice! My roomate mentioned when she came back for the second walk my dog got so excited she got the zoomies! She took photos of Lupine on the walk that were adorable and I felt very safe with her walking her! Thank you SO MUCH Erica! You have a glowing review from me and I will definitely book with you again! ??”

“Jacob was fantastic. My dog is not always easy to work with due to some resource guarding issues, but Jacob had the patience and kindness to meet his needs. I feel very lucky that he took care of my dog, and I will be seeking his help again in the future.”

About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.
“Eric did a wonderful job walking our pups! He was on time, we got pics of them out on their walk and had 2 happy pup faces when they got home! Thank you Eric!”

“Nev had great communication and took great care of our sweet Willow! She was very flexible with our delayed flights & always reached out if she had any questions. We really appreciated her! :)”

“She was great and I accommodated my last minute emergency with my pup and she was able to care for her. I'm glad she was happy and I really appreciate it. Thank you!”

“Ariane is amazing! She treated our dog like one of her own. She sent multiple photos and updates while we were away, which made us feel very comfortable. She has a big backyard which was a huge plus! We will absolutely be booking with her again!”
