“Jacob was amazing! He took great care of our dog Dex while we were out of town. He took care of everything just as we had discussed and even spent time with our cats during his visits. About: Hi there, my name is Erica! I grew up with dogs and currently have my own rescue pup, an eight-year-old German Shepherd mix. Over the years I’ve cared for friends and family's pets, both for pet sitting and walking. I have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love the outdoors and will ensure your pup has plenty of fun and exercise! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, I am available during the day most of the week and have some weekend availability. I am happy to discuss your needs of when your pet needs care! I am happy to discuss your pets' needs, and their daily routine to make sure they are walked, fed, or let out in a timely manner. I am respectful of your space and will ensure I enter and leave securely. I will also work on building trust with your pet and take proper safety measures while on walks.
About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.

“I can’t give Erica enough stars, she is absolutely amazing. During my recent trip, Erica stayed at my place and took care of my pet for ~ 2 weeks. She was quick to gain the trust of my anti-social cat, she communicated with me nearly daily, and my cat was happy and well cared for while I was gone. Erica also was an excellent house guest and left the place in great/tidy condition (probably better than I had left it). Thanks again Erica for taking such great care of Toed!”

“Alex is an INCREDIBLE cat sitter who goes above and beyond to care for animals. When moving from Florida to Alaska I needed someone to watch my kitties for 2 weeks and was nervous about finding someone to reliably provide quality care for two of my cats who have medical needs. I was so pleased with Alex's care for my babies and felt immensely fortunate to have her as a sitter during the move. She was able to administer my diabetic cat's insulin and liquid medication for my cat with allergies. She also when above and beyond to grab the insulin from the pharmacy when I was unable to during my drive to Anchorage. All of her updates about the cats were detailed and helpful to keep track of how they were doing. She gave them lots of love and even extra treats which I'm sure they were excited for. Alex even offered to give one of my cats a bath to help manage his allergies. I cannot recommend Alex enough! I am happy to have found a great sitter in Anchorage :)”

“Rachel was incredible, I left my kitty for a 12 day international vacation. She ensured that my kitty was well cared for as well as my home. When I returned, my cat was happy and the house was clean. She updated me frequently with pictures and responded promptly if I had questions. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter. Thank you Rachel!”

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.
“Danielle was wonderful from the very start! This was our first time using Rover for Smoky and Danielle provided updates and photos throughout the day, which was very reassuring. Smoky clearly had a wonderful day with her and was exhausted when he got home! Already planning to rebook with Danielle.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I now have a 10-month-old puppy named Tilly and a 13-year-old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or curl up on the couch for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of attention and care while staying with me. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday - Thursday. Friday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dog is friendly, playful, and accustomed to being around other dogs. I carefully introduce pets, follow each owner’s instructions, and maintain routines as closely as possible. I provide lots of attention, updates, and photos throughout their stay.
About: Your pup will be treated like family! I have always been an animal lover and have treated all animals with kindness and compassion. I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. They can sleep wherever they choose and will always get plenty of time outdoors ( if they would like). I love walking and will take your pup for as many walks as you would like. My job is very flexible so while dog sitting I will always be at home and with your dog for the entire duration. I know that calmness and kindness are key to reassuring your pup and allowing them to feel happy and comfortable. Boarding can be stressful for animals and parents and I assure you that I will do everything I can to make the experience a joyous and pleasant one. Looking forward to caring for your beloved pup! I have recently lost my 17 yr old chihuahua so looking to have some more dog love in my life right now. Sincerely, Jackie I have a very flexible job as a vending machine owner/operator so I have lots of time to give love and walks to your fur baby! I like to keep pups stimulated with a variety of activities involving exercise, games and love. I enjoy creating fun games for them to do around the house!

“Tommy was wonderful to our 13 week lab puppy! We were worried about leaving her in a boarding kennel, so we chose Tommy to watch her while we enjoyed a fishing charter! The boat came back later than expected, and Tommy was so understanding ! He met us at the docks to pick up our dog and dropped her off which was so convenient !”

“Alex is great! I can tell my dog enjoys her time there because she was a little TOO excited on the second day. About: Current medical student with so much motivation to get outside with my dog in between studying. I'm also a professional photographer, so expect lot's of photos of your pup! When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog….but we owned everything except a dog due to our lack of a yard. To solve this, I would knock on my neighbors doors to walk and play with their dogs everyday. Now I can finally live out my hotel for dogs dreams. My rescue dog, Cowboy, would also love a furry friend. He was the dog the shelter used to socialize their dogs and I’m sure he misses it. I hope I can help you out and use the experience I’ve gained from training him and the dogs in my childhood to love and care for your friend! I work from home and have plenty of time to care for your pet. I take my dog on 2 walks a day and spend a lot of time playing, training, and cuddling. I would love to share this time with your pet too. I have a fully enclosed private back yard. Right outside my front door is a short walk to a park and many other walking trails.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and active outings tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always send updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I have two cats and will generally not be accepting any stay-over visits at my own house. They are really friendly and love humans but other pets would be stressful for everyone!
About: Hello Rover! I have spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and have experience taking care of a wide variety of personality types! I have a 10 year old Australian Shepherd named Oliver so I am very familiar with high maintenance/active dog breeds. I'm currently taking a month long break from work before starting a new job. What better way to make some extra money in the down time than taking care of dogs? I am located close to several wooded trails as well as Kincaid park, where I frequent with my own Australian Shepherd Oliver. With such an active breed, we are out and about multiple times each day.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

“Olga did a great job of taking care of my senior dog. Took her on short daily walks, sent me lots of pictures and updates every day. She definitely has a repeat customer.”

“Kaitlyn and John took amazing care of my dog while I was away. This was the first time I left her at someone else’s home for an extended amount of time and it seemed as if my dog fit right in with their family and was given so much love and attention. They sent pictures and updates daily and my dog returned to me happy and healthy. I would love to have them watch my girl again next time I am in need of a pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“We are first time pet owners and this was our first time in the almost 3 years of having him that we set out to find a sitter. Sharon & her family were very supportive, patient and kind. Sharon introduced our dog to others and it went extremely well. We received prompt replies to our check in texts and she even sent us photos! We definitely recommend their services!”

“My boys had another great stay running around and making friends with other pups boarding with Crystal. Anytime I need to board them I'll be using her.”

“Ashlee and her husband were great care takers for my dog over the weekend. Their dogs are so friendly and my dog Chunk had a blast. Lots of playtime outside, walks and pictures throughout the whole stay! Ashlee takes such good care of them and treated my dog just as I would. I will absolutely reach out again when we need a sitter.”

“Mandy watched my dog for the first time on a BIG trip and was absolutely amazing! She shared occasional pictures, and was willing to provide allergy medicine when needed, and I was relieved my dog was so well taken care of while I was gone.”

“Prospect was in great company and thoroughly enjoyed his time with Aiko and her family :) Great communicators, flexible with my changing pickup & dropoff times, and my boy was returned to me safe & happy. Would recommend to anyone!”

“He did a phenomenal job. My husky loves to try to run away but was unable to, and the GPS tracker he has just in case made me feel more safe with the dogs in his hands. He took them on walks, played with them, and gave them the company they needed to not be stressed out. He kept me updated and sent pictures of them during the time away. Will definitely be using him again if I need to travel.”

“Danielle did a fantastic job with my lab. He had injuries his leg right before our trip. Danielle went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and didn’t injury any thing else. Country be more pleased.”

“Kerry is so thoughtful, communicative, and caring! I appreciate her clear affection for doggos, and her patience and understanding about Petra’s quirks. Thank you so much!”

“Hawken is a genuine ‘dog person’! What a gift. Our boy, who is always hesitant with people took right to him and even went back to him to say goodbye before getting in the car. We are thrilled!”

“Ashley was great! We needed to find a place at the last minute for our dog for a couple nights. Great communication and she was able to accommodate some minor schedule changes, which was a big help. And, she took great care of our dog, who said he had a blast!”

“Ashley was great, keeping me updated and sending pics. She was responsive, communicative and flexible. I will absolutely use her again. Thank you 🙏”

“Zhenya is awesome. This was our dogs first stay with her and they loved their time. She is easy to communicate with and responsive. We will definitely book with her again when we need a sitter.”
