“We connected with Dorian for the first time recently, and are delighted to report that everything worked out well. Dorian stayed at our house for a week while taking care of our 2 kitties. He met both cats prior to our trip, and they (the cats) approved. All indications are that he was able to make friends with them despite the fact that they have been leary of strangers. They enjoy a catdoor, which they use extensively, and he was here for them even when they weren't around. Communiation with Dorian was strong and the house was left in very good condition Although our cats were very happy to have us back, they didn't appear to be stressed, as opposed to their reaction to some other sitters we have had. We will definitely contact Dorian again when the occasion arises. Hopefully he'll still be available.”

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: I loved working on ranches and dog sitting throughout my highschool and college time. I have always enjoyed getting out with the animals to make sure they are feeling energized! About: Much like Romulus and Remus, I was raised with/by dogs growing up! I absolutely love dogs! Big dogs, lil dogs, fluffy dogs, energetic dogs, old dogs all dogs are great. My dogs name is Wanda, she is great but a ball of energy (like most labs). I have had her since she was a puppy and she is crate trained, house trained and just a very good girl! I am shift work but will balance my schedule accordingly to walk dogs or let them out when required. I mostly work night shift allowing me to have the flexibility during the day to get out for walks and stay active! I am a 30 year old guy with no kids. My dog is my kid. My daily routine I had with Wanda was to let out every morning and play fetch with her or walk her. I would then bring her inside to calm down, I’d shower and then go back downstairs to feed her since she’s caught her breathe and cooled off by then. After she’s eaten I would let her out potty again and then she is chill for the day until evening time where I would bring her out on another walk or a swim at my cottage at home which I’m dearly missing and then when she has calmed down from that I would feed her dinner. Most nights I try to do 10ish mins of training with her and she loves the treats anyways so it’s very easy. She knows sit, stay (for a long time and a big distance), paw (both), she can spin, she can do a tunnel (go between my legs) and she can spin around me and sit on my left or right side! I will admit she is a lab and very food driven/motivated so training her was relatively easy with the right treats. She is the best and I miss my dog and want to be able to play with other people’s dogs!

Since I don’t currently have pets of my own or a house, I provide care in my client’s home. I make sure to follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I respect each client’s home and make sure it stays clean, secure, and comfortable while they’re away. “Julie was awesome again. Finn had a great time. She always provides lots of pictures and was able to help my puppy through a bought of diarrhea while I was out of town. When I went to open the car door to load Finn up and go home after his stay, he ran back to their front door, sat down, and looked at me wanting to get back to his friends :). “Zec took great care of our two dogs! He’s very communicative, initiated a meet and greet before the stay to make sure our dogs got along, and sent consistent updates. His dog is a gentle giant and was so patient with our one dog (who has crazy cattle dog energy and doesn’t get along with every dog). They came home tired, happy, and healthy. He even shared some of his homemade salmon dog treats with my pups. Would recommend if you need a reliable sitter.”
About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.
