“Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“Kaitlyn and John took amazing care of my dog while I was away. This was the first time I left her at someone else’s home for an extended amount of time and it seemed as if my dog fit right in with their family and was given so much love and attention. They sent pictures and updates daily and my dog returned to me happy and healthy. I would love to have them watch my girl again next time I am in need of a pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“My first time using Rover. She was very easy to communicate with and was flexible with my drop off and pick up times. Felt very comfortable with her and the whole process.”

“Amazing sitter! Great communication! I was making this booking for my mother in law and Amanda was very understanding about the situation and very patient. I’d definitely book again if ever needed!”

“Chelsea did a fantastic job sitting for our dogs! She was responsive when we had questions and sent us daily updates with photos demonstrating that the dogs were having a great time at her place. In fact, they seemed kind of bummed when we arrived to pick them up. 😂 We would 100% recommend Chelsea as a sitter to others and book with her again for our dogs.”

“Faelyn was awesome! She responded immediately to my short notice request and was available the following day for a meet and greet since we ha had not met at the time and are very particular with anyone we leave our two senior dachshunds with. She took great care of our babies and even sent fun pictures to show how they were doing while we were gone. Would highly recommend her and will definitely take advantage of her services again when and if we go out of town and aren't able to take them with us.”

“Olga was a great sitter for my golden! I appreciated the frequent updates and pics, and she seemed happy and tired when I got back. Would definitely recommend!”

“Lindsey was great! My dog felt right at home with her two pups and was well taken care of. Looking forward to having Lindsey watch her in the future when I need a dog sitter.”

“Sharon, Michael, and their family treat the dogs like they are their own family pets. Holly had a great time at their house. They helped Holly feel comfortable in their home, and were great at communicating with us. This was the first time Holly was ever apart from us; they helped our dog, and our family, through the experience.”

“Sarah was fantastic! She sent us photos and updates everyday of our pups. Her home was great with a nice fenced yard. We knew our boys were well taken care of. She was extra accommodating to us extending our trip by a few days. Thank you thank you Sarah!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Danielle. She communicated very well with us. She sent us pictures and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She seems like she truly is an animal lover. I think our dog was a little nervous when we left him because it was with somebody new but when we came back, he didn’t wanna leave her !”

“Huw and Jolynne are wonderful! They've cared for our Cavapoo multiple times, often for a week at a time, and our dog always looks forward to returning to their house. They've been flexible and responsive, and we appreciate their clear and quick communication. Our dog is happy and healthy when we return each time. It's clear that Huw and Jolynne truly know and love dogs. It's been a pleasure to work with them.”

“Zhenya, was very accommodating for my large GSD. She has a large backyard for him to roam around in and she was nice enough to send updates each day. The plus side the big pup seems happy.”

“Julie was awesome again. Finn had a great time. She always provides lots of pictures and was able to help my puppy through a bought of diarrhea while I was out of town. When I went to open the car door to load Finn up and go home after his stay, he ran back to their front door, sat down, and looked at me wanting to get back to his friends :). I will definitely reserve time with them again when I need it.”

“Ralph accommodated my crazy work travel schedule, sent lots of updates, and most importantly took excellent care of my pup Rocky. I so appreciate his attention and care of my dog. Thank you Ralph!”

“Jessica was kind and welcoming for my nervous doggo! She took great care of him and helped him settle in quickly. She also sent me sweet pics of him every day. Will definitely be returning to Jessica for future pet sitting needs.”

“Trey was amazing, reliable and accommodating! She picked up our pup from the airport, he stayed with her a couple nights and brought him back to the airport for his final ride home! We are so grateful for her knowledge and attention to detail. She also sent us lots of pics/videos to keep us connected/informed.”

“Madelyn is such a great find! My dog George loved her, her house, her family! And he looked so good, healthy and happy after his stay with her. She was perfect in communications — quick, responsive and informative. We loved the pictures she sent. I can depend on her care 100% and look forward to working with her again.”
“Ramona was seriously really great. We could tell she and her family were genuinely happy to have our dog Murphy at their home for a few days. We received several updates and pictures of Murphy. Murphy didn’t want to leave when we picked him up! We will absolutely be using Ramona in the future.”

About: I have years of experience dealing with dogs and cats of all ages, including fosters with behavioral and medical issues that needed special attention. I work from home, so I’m able to spend lots of extra time with animals that need extra attention. I work from home full-time, so being available during the day is super easy. I also love to stay active, so long walks and hikes are a breeze! I’m also great at nail trims, even on less than willing participants. I’m super flexible in terms of feeding times, bathroom breaks, etc. I’m also a big believer that no one should come home to a dirty house after a trip, so you can expect things to be at least as clean as you left them.

About: Hi! I have taken care of a variety of pets, including my own, and love caring for them. I love learning about each of their unique personalities and caring for them in the way they need. I do have a full time job, however it is a very flexible schedule, so I can fit in all of your pet’s needs. Just let me know when you need me! I have two pets myself, a dog and a cat. I love spending time and playing with my dog as she is very hyper. I also love to snuggle and chill with my cat.

“Wonderful job! Lindsey had such a kind and gentle way with our cats. She understood their individual personalities and took amazing care of them while we away! It was a huge comfort knowing they were in such good hands.”

“Ashlee took exceptional care of our cat, Puss Puss, for three weeks. She provided regular updates, ensuring our cat was happy and well-cared for. We returned to a content and well-tended Puss Puss. Highly recommend Ashlee for her reliability and excellent pet care. Thank you, Ashlee!”

“Would definitely recommend Shannon for pet sitting! She takes great care of our two cats when we go on vacation and has been reliable and friendly. 10 out of 10.”

“We’ve had Lindsey cat sit for our kitties multiple times now, and every time she is just fantastic! She is thorough and dependable, and always lets us know if anything happens while we’re gone. She’s simply the best!”

“To be honest, I'm disappointed with my experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to provide honest feedback. I don't believe this sitter was particularly comfortable with cats. Some of the photos she sent actually concerned me, as my cats appeared stressed or unwell in several of them. She also allowed my cats onto the kitchen counter, which is not acceptable in my home. Additionally, she sent photos showing rugs and their harnesses knocked off counters and out of place. I had to point out that things had fallen and needed to be picked up before they were even addressed. When I returned home, the harnesses were still left in front of the door. Caring for my cats is a very straightforward job. They have an automatic litter box, automatic water fountain, and automatic feeder, so daily responsibilities are minimal - wet food, a treat, and try to get them to play. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail and effort was noticeable. I've used Rover before and had wonderful experiences with cat sitters who kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos of my cats enjoying treats, playing with toys, giving me their arrival and departure notifications, and observations that helped put my mind at ease while I was away. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received this time. Communication was sparse, and I felt like I was hearing very little from someone who was regularly entering my home and caring for pets that are incredibly important to me. The daily updates felt generic and lacked the level of care, engagement, and reassurance I was expecting.”

About: Ever since I was young I've taken care of dogs, cats, ferrets, and birds at younger ages as well! I bond very well with animals and I treat them like they're a human too, it's instinct. I always wanted what's best for animals because they can't talk so I want to be their voice and opinion for them! I will be avaialble and open Monday-Sunday, so I'll have lots of time to tend to many furry companions! I work part-time for the time being but am open to expanding my schedule! I can easily meet each owners needs on their companions! If you need anything in particular just let me know and I'll accommodate to each individual!
“This was our second booking with Amanda! We were supposed to come home from our trip, but our flight was canceled and we couldn't leave for 3 days. I reached out to Amanda to see if we could rebook a few more days, and she immediately left to go check on my cats! I have appreciated her help so much! Also, I forgot on my precious review, but she even gave my kitties some Christmas catnip toys she made! Seriously the best sitter and great photos and visit recaps each day!”

“Dorian was fantastic with my three cats, he was easy to communicate with, providing detailed and fun updates (and pictures!) each day, and making sure that they all my pets received appropriate attention. I trust him to watch my house and pets any time, and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future, thank you Dorian!”

I have one well-behaved dog at home, but most of the care I provide will be in your home so your pets can stay in their familiar environment. I always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and house rules, and I take the time to make sure each pet feels safe and relaxed. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.

“Sharon and Michael are great people— I can tell they are passionate about dogs and they do an excellent job at watching Aurora & Loki on the days we are working long 12 hour shifts. They are fed, socialized, and having a fun time with other doggies 🐶❤️ they kept us updated with photos during their stay. Their backyard is very spacious for the doggies and they absolutely love running and playing around in their backyard when they are outside. When the doggies get home, Aurora & Loki have expelled their energy at doggie day care and will often settle into bed after getting home. A tired dog is a happy dog 🐶 thank you again Sharon & Mike!”

“Alex is great! I can tell my dog enjoys her time there because she was a little TOO excited on the second day. Alex takes lots of great pics and pays attention to my dog's behavior throughout the day. It's also nice that she provides a walk even though there's plenty of space to run around in her yard. Thank you!”

“Allison was an amazing sitter for my 4 mo old puppy! I could tell HRALI was having a great time at her home, with lots of attention & playtime. She was punctual, but also very flexible. HRALI definitely loved spending time with Allison & her family. I would definitely have her care for my HRALI again, and I highly recommend her, especially if you have an active pup!!”

About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. We can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I work from home permanently, so I am able to provide care all day long for your fur baby. While I work, typically my two doodles spend their time snacking and watching TV! Once the work day is up, to the park we go! I have two miniature sized doodles to keep your dog company. Additionally, we have many toys available to play with, ample treats, and a small backyard area for potty with an additional park right next door. Both of my doodles are fixed and crate trained. :)

About: What sets me apart is my depth of hands-on experience caring for dogs with many different personalities, temperaments, and needs. I’m very comfortable managing multiple dogs, reading body language, and creating a calm environment where dogs feel safe and settle in quickly. I have experience with puppies, including potty routines, crate training foundations, and helping young dogs adjust to new environments. I’m also attentive to senior dogs and those who may need a slower pace, medication, or extra comfort and supervision. Because dogs are such a big part of my daily life, I naturally pay attention to safety, structure, and individual needs. I understand how to introduce dogs carefully to new spaces, prevent overstimulation, and maintain routines so they feel secure while their owners are away. I only accept one household at a time, which allows me to provide personalized care, close supervision, and plenty of attention. My goal is always for dogs to feel relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for-not just watched. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I’m home frequently throughout the day and dogs are already a central part of my life. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I plan my schedule around the dogs in my care so they aren’t left alone for long periods. I’m able to maintain feeding routines, exercise, and quiet rest time so they feel comfortable and settled. Because I only accept one household at a time, I can focus on their individual needs and make sure they receive personalized care throughout the day. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm, structured environment where dogs can settle in and feel secure. I only accept one household of dogs at a time, which allows me to provide close supervision and individualized attention without overcrowding or unnecessary stress. I introduce dogs to new spaces gradually and pay close attention to body language, behavior, and comfort levels so I can adjust care to their needs. Dogs have access to comfortable resting areas, regular potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time in a secure space. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, routines, medications, and exercise to maintain consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for during each visit, and I provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident while they are away. My goal is always to create a safe, low stress experience where pets feel relaxed and owners feel complete peace of mind.
About: Since I was 9, I have house/pet sat for countless neighbors and friends. Dogs/cats/birds/fish/hamsters/Guinea pigs/bunnies/lizards - the list goes on! I have a sweet, very active 3 yr old doodle who loves all animals/humans. I spoil animals and am “that person” that will ask to play with your dog when we cross paths 😊 Although I have only ever operated through word of mouth, I am new to the area so am here to build my clientele! Let’s connect!! As of May ‘26, I can be home full time. For boarding/daycare, I do prefer pets that have minimal to no shedding. If in your home, I’m open to any and all! :) I treat your pets just as you would - or better. It’s what I would want for mine. I’m flexible and will do anything you prefer, whether it’s using a crate, being strict with leashes (especially if they’re an escape artist), specific food/med schedules, etc. I am highly experienced with security systems, caring for homes, and watching out for issues like unlocked doors/leaks/etc. I take detailed notes and make sure to stay in contact - and I am not afraid to ask questions! As of May ‘26 - I am home full time! Dogs must be kenneled while I am gone. I’m open to puppies but they need to be pretty well trained (I.e. potty & crate) as I have a dog as well! My #1 priority is making sure pets are safe and secure at all times. Depending on the location, dogs are either leashed or fenced in - ALWAYS! I grew up with escape artist dogs so I learned the “do’s and don’ts” pretty quick :) I do my research on toys/bones and always monitor the pet while they’re “busy.” Animals are my best friends and I do everything I can to make sure they’re 100% safe, well taken care of, and HAPPY! That being said, I do highly prefer minimal to no shedding depending on the size of the dog and the situation.
About: I’m Zoey, I’m 30 and from Texas, I’ve been in Alaska almost 9 years. Animal lover and plant enthusiast!! I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt connected to all walks of life, and found them extremely intriguing and inspiring. My friends and family have counted on me to walk and sit for their pets for years now, including cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, birds and plants and a couple reptiles here and there :) hope to meet ur pup soon! I’m an owner of almost 50 indoor house plants. Which calls for routine and not quite like an animal, but I love them that much, I love taking care of things is what I’m trying to say :-) I wanna spend more time with animals than humans, life’s ruff. I would absolutely love to meet your pets, and help maintain the overall health of their fitness, taking them on long walks or short, I’m ready for it! “Ashley was great! We planned a last min day trip and she was able to check in on our fur kiddos no problem. Both were happy when we got home. 😊”

From puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats — I know what it takes to administer love and care during all developmental stages of life! My heart is full when I get to see either a happy dog tail-wag or a purrfectly content cat make biscuits. I’ll work with your dog to improve their commands and get their daily zoomies out; your cat will enjoy company and stimulating feline friendly games. I’ll also have their bathroom and medical needs taken care of. I make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. I have a flexible schedule, so I can work with your schedule to best serve your family! At this time I am not hosting animals in my home. I will do house visits and walks. I prefer to take your pet on routes they are familiar with to start. After getting to know your pet, I can take them on walks in new environments to encourage new training opportunities. Please disclose if your pet has ever been aggressive or experiences severe anxiety behaviors. I want to provide a safe environment for your fur baby and myself by being aware of any sensitivities or triggers. Your pet will receive top care while being set-up for success when spending time with me! Book with me & I’ll help make your life a little less stressful — your pet has a friend in me! I have a very flexible schedule and can take care of your pets in the afternoon or evenings during Monday-Friday. With ample notice, I can even take care of your pet in the mornings Monday-Friday. On weekends, I can take care of your pet at any time! I’ll make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. Your pet will be safe and cared for in my care.
About: I am experienced with senior pets and medication administration, including insulin. I provide patient, attentive care with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and trust. As a functional, holistic practitioner, I deeply understand the impact that movement, purpose, and genuine joy have on overall well-being. After the passing of my sweet boy, I knew it was essential for me to continue pursuing those elements in my own life, and what could be more healing than spending part of my days with dogs? From as far back as I can remember, animals have been a light in my life. What I love most about them is their innocence, there are few things in this world that carry the same purity they do. Time spent with animals feels light and genuinely medicinal. That connection became especially profound for me in 2021, when I rescued my “soul” dog, a mangled senior left to roam the streets. Loving him taught me more about life, presence, and what truly matters than any other experience ever could. Though sadly he passed in 2025, the time we shared, while short, felt like an entire lifetime. As a functional, holistic practitioner, I deeply understand the impact that movement, purpose, and genuine joy have on overall well-being. After the passing of my sweet boy, I knew it was essential for me to continue pursuing those elements in my own life, and what better way than spending part of my days with dogs? I approach every walk and visit with safety, patience, and presence as my top priorities. I move at your dog’s pace, build trust gently, and stay fully attentive to their needs. My goal is calm, reliable care that helps your dog feel secure, loved, and supported every step of the way.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and couldn't picture a life without them. I am very available to love on your pet all day as I am a Homeschool mom to my eldest. No matter if you need to drop off your pup for a few hours during the day, to an overnight, you can rest assured your babies are getting max amounts of playtime in our large fenced yard with tons of toys, getting plenty of love and affections and also indulging in the occasional treat if allowed. I'd be happy to come to you as well and love on your pets in your home, honoring any special requests you have with meds etc or even household duties such as watering plants, checking mail or more! I can watch any type of pet that you might have in your home from hamsters to fish to rabbits cats etc. Your pup need to get some exercise but you can’t seem to find the time? That’s why I’m here, leave it to me to get out all their energy and get them out of the house. I can walk up to 3 dogs from the same home at a time given they all get along of course. 😊
About: I come from a home that has always welcomed pets. We had quite the variety over the years, but one thing that was always consistent was a dog. Dogs are amazing creatures, and I've learned throughout the years that they can truly become your closest friend. Throughout my life I've not only cared for my own dogs but have had countless opportunities to dog sit for friends and have taken care of several dog teams (I'm from Alaska) as well . I have experience in administering oral medication for dogs as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I am available Monday through Friday for both Day Care and Boarding. I can do same day bookings as well, depending on what I have going on that day. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I currently work from home, so I'm available whenever your dog needs or wants to go outside! I don't currently have any dog toys for your pup to play with, but if you would like to bring their own, I would love to play with them! Feel free to bring whatever you think your dog might need throughout their stay.
About: Hi!! Born and raised in Alaska, I have my way down south to play soccer and study at Wingate University! A little bit about me - I had a dog for 18 years of my life and have taken care of every kind of dog (and other pets) since I was about 14. I LOVE animals and treat the ones I care for like my very own, which brings me not only joy but a lot of repeat customers! I also have experience fostering puppies/dogs. To add, I have experience with senior dogs and administering medicines. I am also very active and love getting outside/playing with your pets! I am a student athlete at Wingate University, however my schedule in the spring is fairly light. I have a couple classes in the morning and then am free for a couple hours during the day until practice at 4pm that usually lasts about 1-2 hours. I am completely free in the evening after that! Pet care would fit into my weekly routine per request of the client. Drop ins, walks, or check ins would be very doable, realistic, and enjoyable for me to do throughout the week! I care for the pets as I would care for my own. I take notes and make sure to follow all the clients requests about food, boundaries, behaviors, and anything else that is necessary. I also love to keep in touch with the client by sending them pictures/updates of their fur babies, especially if I am watching them for an extended period of time. If the client wanted to meet me prior to allowing me to care for their dog, I would gladly do so!

“Sharon, Michael, and their family treat the dogs like they are their own family pets. Holly had a great time at their house. They helped Holly feel comfortable in their home, and were great at communicating with us. This was the first time Holly was ever apart from us; they helped our dog, and our family, through the experience.”

“Kerry is so thoughtful, communicative, and caring! I appreciate her clear affection for doggos, and her patience and understanding about Petra’s quirks. Thank you so much!”

About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! We have a shared unfenced yard but walk around the neighborhood daily. We have an open space for playing around and lots of time to give!
“Amazing as always. Always sends us updates, super flexible, and loves spending time with your dogs. Crystal is amazing, I feel so at ease when leaving our pups with her. They get so much outside time and feel loved. Caters to your dogs needs.”
“Justin was an amazing match for our pup and took wonderful care of him. We greatly appreciated his flexibility, responsiveness, and the updates he shared while we were away. We would absolutely recommend booking with him and hope to use his services again in the future. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our pup was so well cared for.”

“Madelyn is such a great find! My dog George loved her, her house, her family! And he looked so good, healthy and happy after his stay with her. She was perfect in communications — quick, responsive and informative. We loved the pictures she sent. I can depend on her care 100% and look forward to working with her again.”
“My pup had a great time with Emily and her dogs for the week that I was away. Her daily pictures and updates reassured me so much. 10/10 would request her services again. Thank you!! :)”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. We will definitely be coming back to them for our trips and we highly recommend! Thank you so much!”

“Our Ginger was in the best care while we were on vacation! We got daily updates with pictures and videos. Each picture or video she was peacefully snoring in someone’s arms. We will gladly have Lacie watch our baby in the future.”
